Problems. HOW TO FIX?
1. Phone and MMS app force closes. JB3.0.3
2. I will change the time to 24 hrs instead of 12 hrs but when I reboot it returns to 12 hrs. JB3.0.3.
HELP ME
There aren't any such bugs in JB I'd suggest you flash stock rom again then JB + the otas one by one!

i flashed kingxklick's aosp release, but then i wanted to revert to SuperD, so i did a nandroid restore...
but after that, every rom is getting that "process.android.acore stopped working", even on that roms that worked before...i also did a full wipe and taking out the battery for 5min, but nothing of that worked, it keeps crashing...

it is a known problem with 1.10.3 superd, either go do a .2 or wait for .4 to be released (which should be soon). Also if u still wanna stick with .3, change your launcher to home.
I recommend going to another version, coz .3 is also known to have battery drain issues.
In the past 24 hours, after flashing WIUI 2.3.30 V4 in Defy it got rebooted twice, with no activity / reasons. But the phone uptime shows it is running continuously without reboot.
Please let me know more on this issue.
Hi you all,
My transformer TF101 (.27) has been doing random reboots (RR).
The TF101 lasts for about an hour after each firmware update (.27), then when RR starts, it occurs for on average 4-7 minutes
after each reboot.
I have not rooted to install a custom ROM yet (as warranty goes then).
Will a custom ROM help? Any custom ROM you advise?
Anyone has a solution? Explanation? Thanks.
I tried the things below which does not work:
1. Installed App wakelock (set to partial wake lock and reboot on startup)
2. Disabled notifications for every 12 hours in nvidia tegra zone
3. Hard Factory reset (holding volume down and power button for 12 seconds and choosing wipe)
4. Factory Reset (Reset 3 times in a row from settings)
5. Installed App: Auto airplane mode.
6. Downloaded latest firmware from asus website (corresponds to build model TW and installed on root and updated firmware again - 4 times)
7. Tried forcing stop on most applications from settings and clearing cache
8. Mailed asus for a possible solution (hopeless )

Ive read rooting and installing a custom rom/kernel has helped people overcome them i cant say because ive never had this issue, You can revalidate your warranty just by unrooting and flashing the stock firmware
Id start by trying with Revolver and/or Revolution HD, with a guevor kernel

IMO ARHD is good idea but with stock kernel at the beginning, if he notice that everything is ok, he can flash kernel.
Well speaking from personal experience I had RRs frequently when ICS first rolled off in Feb, after a couple of months I switched to ROMs. Using Megatron 1.16 and Guevor's kernel 21.5, longest run time was 300 hrs. Very stable ROM. I did have RRs but that was once in a blue moon nothing that will impede your daily use. Now I am running the JB ROM from team EOS.
regarding warranty issues, I had to send mine back for power button fix but it was easy to go back to stock either thru Nandroid backup or Asus stock firmware update via CMW recovery. No worries.
In CM 12.1, after a few minutes using 3G, my phone lost signal and I have to restart my phone to get my signal back. I installed your latest kernel. Sometime 3G is too slow. Do you have any solutions ? Should I install VegitoKernel 3.0 to fix this bug ?
In CM 13, if we get permission for every apps we installed, we can't press on Grant button of SuperSU or Install button when we install applications from unknown sources such as AppVN. Another bug is the screen can't rotate for some reason, I've to use a third app to force the screen rotate but it's inconvenient. Do you know the reason ? Can you let me know how to fix this ?
Actually I want to use Vietnamese but XDA don't permit me to do that, sometime I think I should send a message to your Facebook account but maybe you'll feel uncomfortable. Anyway, help me fix them
For cm13 i had the same rotation problem .it only works for 10 min then rotation its dead ..now after the new release of beta4 the rotation is fix totally just update your rom .
Hi all,
does anyone know how to fix Sleep of death issue on the oneplus 2 ? im facing this problem for more than 6 months now.
my phone wont wake up from sleep unless i hold the power button for about 10 sec , the phone will reboot and i will lose about 20 % to 40 % from the battery.
this problem happens once every 2 - 3 days
ive tried the following:
*cache and dalvik cache wipe.
* factory reset
* Rooting the phone and installing a custom ROM ( the problem happened on the stock ROM even before i root it or change the ROM to a custom one )
Any solutions ?
thanks in advance
If u face same problem in different rom then i think its hardware problem.
I'll say it's a battery issue
