Yep my vol is at 10 now. If it's dead quiet it's fine, but if there's any back ground noise I can't hear the caller. Also notice the volume isn't great for calls through the speaker. My ring is very loud. Calls through the speaker I can barely hear them.
Guys,
Im moving this to the Q&A section. Look at the faq thread, it tells you in there
Chow.
Please post requests for mods, kernals, themes and roms in this thread. Please don't post nonsense like: "I wants may fone tu geif meh ai blough." The moderators will not like that. So post your realistic requests in this thread and I will add them into the op for the development to look at as a reference.
Current requests:
GPU Memory Allocation Increase
GPU Overclock (240mhz)
Display UV (it is in a kernel but the kernel can perma-brick your phone due to the RAM UV.)
✘RAM UV (thought to cause RAM failure. Just a myth. Thanks K0nane)✘
ReOdexer compatible with EC05
AOSP Gingerbread overclock kernel
MIUI updated to Gingerbread with all of the cm7 fixes
✔Remap Bluetooth 'answer' button to skip tracks✔ (Headset button controller in market)
Fix for sound artifacts on headsets/headphones
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=13138561&postcount=8
Blacklight Notifications
Video Chat Rotation Fix (90°)
Camera key toggles mute in calls
Working TV out drivers
4g drivers for AOSP
Adjust the brightness of bottom softkeys
Make sure your requests abide to the xda terms and conditions and you make sure they aren't already in a rom. It they are in one rom/kernal but not another, don't post that here. Post it in the thread of the rom/kernal that you want it in.

Sorry, I have a bad development/general detector. But at least I don't ask questions about accessories for iPhones in the epic development section. XD

Here is my odd request. A music player app that can use some of the standard buttons on bluetooth headsets say remap the "pick up" button to skip track ahead and holding the button does pause?

Use headset button controller in the market ($2.03)
[REQ][KERNEL fix] (if possible)
Request some type of fix (that might be kernel related ?) for the random popping that shows up on the phone earpiece after I end a call that i took w/ my bluetooth headset.
OK, I cleaned up the post a little now.

my request isn't necessarily "sound artifacts in headsets... etc"..
my request was a fix for the following dilemma:
When BT is connected and i'm on a call.. I'll end the call and when my phone is sitting there idle, the earpiece on the phone randomly "pops".. this will continue until I :
a) make another call, after ending, pop continues
b) shut off my headset and toggle BT off/on
c) reboot the phone.
the second dilemma is:
when streaming audio via BT, a call comes in, I take the call, end the call, return to music stream, exit out of streaming software (pandora for this instance), turn off my BT headset. At this point, all audio that should normally be routed to the phone's external speaker instead comes from the phone's earpiece. The only way to rectify this is to reboot the phone.
Sorry I wasn't more specific in my original post, and thanks for compiling this feature request list

RAM UV is not in any way, shape or form known to cause RAM failure. That's wild speculation that's entirely unfounded.

the brick is caused by a corrupt SBL, or atleast in a my case and a few other cases...
as for what causes the corruption, i dont know, but its very unlikely to be ram uv..
Would like to see a modification of the phone app to make the camera key toggle mute. Would be make my life on conference calls soooo much easier!

I currently have this ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=904762&highlight=FrankinstineDROIDv1.5
It's flashed through DFT. I have read a lot of threads where people have had too loud in-call volume. But mine is extremely low. When I'm in a room with two people talking to each other, I can't hear the other person. (NO it's not my hearing )
Any suggestions or known fixes? I'd prefer to keep the ROM and just fix the problem. If you are suggesting a fix, could you please also include instructions, or a link to an instructional thread.
Thanks
hi
i have same rom ,,, u can try this ,,, go to setting ,, then click on sound ,,,after that go straight down on feedback section ,,,, uncheck all of them ,,, and restart ur phone ,,, it works on mine ,,, u try too,,, did u have a problem with low speaker volume.... like ringtone or music volume is low ,,, so download the dsp manager from internet ,,,,,,it will increase ur speaker volume
Hey ok so I tried it, but i'll have to test it in a loud environment, and no my speaker and music volume are absolutely fine, it's just the other person's voice during a call... anyways i'll see how it goes! Thanks for the help!

i have the same problem when i answer a call my volume is very low even if i put it on speaker it will still be low..im running coredroid 1.6
1st post!!! i think.
I am having the same problem you guys are having but I think that my phone is only using the speakerphone speaker even when it's set to earpiece speaker. I have tried pretty much every sd rom and i get the same speaker issue. I cant help but think this is a simple setting. I have unchecked the feedback settings but I have not installed dsp manager that nkfrompk suggested because I don't think I need louder volume, I think it is only using the speakerphone speaker.
any help would be awesome. Maybe you guys can check yours to see if it's only using the speakerphone also.
Ok so I disabled all of the feedbacks, even though all except "haptic" were already unchecked. But I haven't noticed any difference.
My phone isn't using the speaker phone, but when I do use the speaker phone the volume is completely fine, the only time I have a problem is while using the phone normally.
If any of you guys figure something out, please share!
thanks

Does it sound to you like the speakerphone is working when the earpiece should be?
I switched phones using the same sd card with android on it and it booted no problem and the speakers work as they should.
nope, it doesn't sound like that
Is there a fix for this, my girl is tired of the low volume why on the phone

Nahh, sorry man, I'm still searching for a fix. The unchecking all feed backs seemed to improve it the slightest bit. Or might have just been a mental thing. But nothing to make the volume a comfortable level.
anyone has a fix?
