Hello is there an app for WP7 to make caller volume louder?
i M gree with you bro..
i am a user of htc hd7 and i hate weekness sound volume...
Have you tried using Vol Up while in a call? At volume 10 I can hear the other person perfectly, it`s almost as good as on speaker...

Yep my vol is at 10 now. If it's dead quiet it's fine, but if there's any back ground noise I can't hear the caller. Also notice the volume isn't great for calls through the speaker. My ring is very loud. Calls through the speaker I can barely hear them.
Guys,
Im moving this to the Q&A section. Look at the faq thread, it tells you in there

My Xda Mini S seems to have two quirks.
1. When I dial a number, the ringing volume seems quiter than the actual call volume once the call is answered...
2. A second or so after a call actually begins, there seems to be a noticeable increase in the earpiece volume...
Anyone else?
Si.
Yes I have experienced this too.
It is a strange one.
Ideas?
Thougt it might b a midi file like the busy tone but the tone is generated at the other end.
I recently read a post on the front page where the Vibrant can be modded to have a louder speakerphone. I know this is probably a unit specific feature, however it did get me wondering if there was any way to increase the volume of the speakerphone on the HD2? Honestly, I can hear a caller better with my in-call volume turned all the way up, than with my speakerphone on.

in because I want to know too.
The same under Windows mobile, so I guess, the loudspeaker just can't do anymore without heavily distorting.
Speaker phone
Works for me:
Turn on speaker
Turn off speaker
Turn on speaker
Sounds stupid but it does make it twice as loud! Try it and post results

Yes, I just found this out yesterday too and today I saw this post, HAHA.
It's funny the speakerphone seems to not "fully activated" after the first press. Once you turn it off, then on again, it is loud and clear.. even louder than when my HD2 was under WinMo!!

I have this problem.
when im in conversation, the volume is very low. but when im listening to music is much higher.
does anyone have this problem as well?
I know its not a reception problem, since i've tried to talk from same place to the same number (which is land line) with WM and with ANDROID.
I am experiencing the same problem. Maybe we need an Audio Gain driver.
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App
I think in general Android in call volume is low.
I also experience this with Nexus One.
I did install WOW SRS on the HD2 WM rom and it seems to increase the volume of Android running on it.
Can someone confirm this on their devices?
do you feel diffrent in android as well or only in WM?
for me its low only in incoming calls but its good in outgoing calls, any idea why ? people said it a wenn known issue in android and has been solved here , i search a lot with no luck .

Same problem for me too.
I've noticed a similar problem with loudspeaker too, but in this case, disabling and enabling the loudspeaker during the call usually solves the problem.

You must have the ringer on. The rule of thumb is this.
If the speaker is on (playing something) when a call is made/received. There is low volume in call.
50/50 when you are dialing out. You have the dial touch tone disabled or there was enough time for the speaker to re-gain control (<---?) and thus the call volume is good.
I am praying this issue gets fix pronto.. ... I live in a very very noisy city and I can barely hear the earpiece.

well, my problem is in both calls, the volume for it is lower than WM volume
I guess there is no solution for it for now, might be better later (hopefully).
During the call turn speaker on then off real quick this will raise the volume for you
Hello
A simple solution that worked for me was... Settings>Sound Then turn off audible touch tones. Got this from another member the other day.
anyone who has my same problem with the incoming calls on tatto??
the audio is too low... i can barely hear the voice of the people...
i can't send message on the developer forum so i'm stuck here..
why would you ask it at developers forum?
you tried to press volume up when you were speaking, right?

now that i'm allowed i sent a message on the developer forum.
thank you.
I have exactly the same problem...Now, whenever i call ppl, i have to use loud speaker....In fact, without loud speaker, there's no sound
When I receive a call the other person sounds really distant aswell as tinny. Anything to fix?
Volume up or hear aid!
Just kidding! ?
