You have waited The Myth for a long time, right? Now, it's time for Myth to be back. We hope that this time, our rom will satisfy you and your satisfaction is our motivation to improve more and more for our SGA community.

As previous series, these are details about Myth:
- Based on Samsung stock roms: 2.3.5 + 2.3.6 (I combined)
- Default language: English
- Number of supported languages: 50 now - for both Europe, Asian users in one Rom & Arabic (read & write only)
- System file is in ext4 format
- Pre-rooted and Pre-deodexed
- Theme, Overscroll glow and CRT OFF effect enabled
- Used CF-root kernel b83 which is made by ketut
- CWM recovery 5
- Script to manage RAM: Modification of LagfreeV3 by Slaid480.
- A2SD script
- Custom bootanimation
- Extended Power Menu
- BLN function (thank to nelda) - With FREE version of BLN COntrol
- Flash supported (10.1, 10.2, 10.3, 11.0) - You can download from Patch-Tools area
- Many Extra Apps such as: SMS Popup, Optimizer Tools Box, MiLocker (modified),...
- Smooth scroll mod
- RTL fixed for Arabic ardu farsi and hebrew users

2.For who has prob with responsive touchscreen (thank to amrith.28)
Ask: too bad the touchscreen is too responsive just like other custom roms... any solution?
Solution: touchscreen is probably related to kernel use CF-Root b82-ex and there is no touchscreen problems. (PS - i had same issue on Ketut's BlackHawk DXKT5 and he told me to use b82-ex)
after that whenever a rom gives me touchscreen issues, i flash cf-root b82ex and its all fine!

one of the best rom for longest battery life, i think
i've used myth ICS beta 2 (previous version of themyth rom) for more than 2 days if turned off auto sync, gps, background data, used 2g instead of 3g, minimize brightness

no need, flash it via CWM if you're using gingerbread 2.3.* after wipe data/factory reset
but recommend you go back to clean stock for stability and avoiding unexpected errors

in my opinion, i think battery life of myth rom absolutely better than cm7 roms
of course using 3g can make battery drains quickly :-s

[Q] Suggestions for a new ROM (to be introduced)

Hey People!! I'm new to XDA and this is my first post :silly: I'd like to introduce a new ROM. So basically i want to make something different for the galaxy y- the phone we've all loved to love! I want to have a redesigned launcher looking somewhat similar to the ICS ad Jellybean with softkeys like the one on ICS. It should be Deodexed rooted and have access to many other features (like pre-installed chainfire and stuff like that :fingers-crossed: ). Im planning on updating the stock kernel to the Merruk Technology Pre-final v2.0 as i've used it and it seems pretty fast and stable (I'm still waiting for the build to be final). I've a Init.d hack with battery calibration and also a hack which (I don't know how) decreases your ram usage haven't tested it yet but people who've used it says it works on stock rom too (which to me seems impossible because stock rom dosen't support init.d. Correct me if i'm wrong :highfive I've decided what to call it too. Now i only need some help which if anyone could offer would be truly amazing to me........

im not a themer, so a themer helping me out would be kinda good :cyclops:
and since this is my first mod a few bug fixing advices would be great too...

About bugs, first make the custom rom. If you encounter a bug, tell us and we'll be happy to help you.

Go to /data/app/ you will see all your apps there....
After getting those apk you can freely edit...
Btw wat u want to edit in apk

just decompile and recompile the systemui and framework-res,
everything is in the drawable-ldpi

I too m making a rom but i think theming is much more difficult than making a rom so i suggest use someone's theme and ask him for permissions:thumbup:

Still i am using from few working days,tested almost all the capabilities and situations but not getting any single bug and nor out of you mentioned..
Try this one too and tell about reviews.that helps me to make updates better..

hi there i can tell you the best thing at the min will be int2sd+ or D2EXT+ both need a ext3/4 partition and work well without slowing down our ace

In this rom i didnot used ics file manager..
Also there are so many plenty choices for applications just download oi file manager or es file manager have some more features..

Thus i want to let you all know that i am in process to develop a custom stock rom unlike the Galaxies and Senses...
Key features i am incorporating as of now are
1) Fully deodexed stock rom with extended kernel full root cwm capability.
2) Bloatwares removed with addons from xperia Z
3)Perfectly matched launcher with best performance and battery.
4)Based upon user community request.additional functionality to be added.
I would definately require everyone's support and donation in order to make this a master piece.
I am opening up this thread provided xda moderators give a heads up for a general discussion on what requirements we have.

Good.. A custom Rom For SP !! Thats a good news... Good. . For me i am looking for only two things... A custom statusbar with notification toggles and a 29 x 24 size Onscreen Buttons... I am already changed the OSB size and its worked.. But its alignment is looks ugly...

I don't know why, but I can't deodex rom of this device like before. All processes are successful but I got bootloop when I tried to copy it back to my XSP.

Hi all,
just got my SP last week, and very satisfied with it, now i knew what the meaning of project butter smooth, i'm from X10 section (pretty old phone and need to work harder to make it run faster, lol) .
So. ... i'm in on this!!!
Sofar there are some weakness on this phone that i can see, such as :
- Status Bar, i will port Serajr's one on this phone.
- Reboot options on the power menu, and another wellknown MOD(s) need to provide.
- Sound quality through earphone (cuz my X10 with some mod on sound lib(s) can to beat SP stock very easy, according to my test on my ears for sure ).
- General background supossed to be black, i think.
- Bloatware remover and some usefull tweaks, such as ram management, i think we should have more than 500 MB on anytime instead of 430+ MB, etc etc.
- Porting stuff for some well known apps from another devices, etc.
BUT, this gonna 'kill' my monthly internet quota since the rom's size little TOO BIG to upload from here, so lets see it later.
EDIT :
I think we better wait for JB 4.2.2, perhaps SONY gonna release it soon, just suggestion.

Ok my good people, I bring you an S7 International Port for our great T-Mobile Note 4. I am kinda new to the whole making a thread for a ROM so please be gentle. Ok so let us get started. ​
First things First, I am in NO WAY RESPONSIBLE if you brick, damage, break or simply blow up your phone! This is a custom ROM and will void your warranty!​
TWIZtd Rom v3.0
You Must be on EPE3/EPG2 baseband, on your N910T/T3​YES! It works with either baseband!​
Changelog
Look in post # 2
What Works?
Pretty Much everything
What does not work? (Up Until Now)
NO WI-FI CALLING
AOD
Pin, Password, Pattern
Camera only shows last picture taken
Minor bugs
Anything else, report here!
This ROM was my personal ROM, I just decided to share my work so others can also enjoy the many mods that have been worked into this ROM. I am not looking for requests so don't make any. Again I am only sharing my work, based on what I like for my ROM and what I wanted in it. If there is an issue that needs fixing by all means, do report and I will try my best to help on the issue and fix it if possible.
Install Instructions
1. Copy TWIZtd ROM to your ExtSDCard
2. Reboot to recovery
3. Wipe system, data, cache, and dalvik x3
4. Install TWIZtd Rom from ExtSDCard
6. Reboot and fully set up TWIZtd ROM
7. When done reboot recovery again
8. Flash TWIZtd Settings update
9. Reboot and enjoy!!!!!
11. Initial Boot Time is Approximately 10-15 Minutes so be patient. Hopefully you will enjoy my work!
Note! VERY IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
While setting up the ROM this way solves many issues that the modded SecSettings app has, it will not solve all. The modded settings app is still buggy and can have errors on some things. More importantly, lock screen security does not work. Remember that please! The stock app also has no lockscreen security. The stock app is there so databases are generated for the modded app to use. Remember LOCKSCREEN SECURITY DOES NOT WORK!!!!!I am still working on this issue to try and get lockscreen security working. I have tried many ways and forms, but to no avail. I will keep trying and post the new app once this has been fixed.

Q & A
The colors on my text in settings is white, what do I do?
If it is white it means you set up rom, installed the modded settings and have not opened TWIZtd Control. Open it and change colors of the text.
Does xposed work on this rom?
Yes, I use Wanams build 86.1. This has the regular and alt all in one.
Does this offer wi-fi calling?
NO, this is an international rom.

@JavixKGD Forgive me but lately very busy with updating of my rom for S5 and themes, and recently I Not read the PM.
Certainly you can use them always important credit. Then since you're one of the few that "" "He asks with education and respect", if you want a particular theme for your rom, tell me how you want it and you do it immediately.

Wow many thanks @Ufo71. Well I have always been very fond of the joker and his battle with batman. I remade the joker theme from the great pas, however if u make something like a dark twisted joker theme, boy would that make my day! Again many thanks friend for the permission and of course credit is going to be given, if u have time for the theme that is even better, but I know we are all busy here and this is our side project to be on XDA and we have a life after this, so if time cannot come up for that wont hold it against u. Many thanks friend!

Ok, got it my friend, I misunderstood the first time but got it now. Ill be making one soon enough, but for now the ROM is very time consuming. Checking for bugs continuously and flashing a few times a day to test new things and methods is exhausting, but here we are pushing forward in the dev world. Many thanks for everything friend, keep up the good work in those custom themes that make me very very happy.

Any idea if this would work on the W8 Canadian Note 4? My sisters Note 4 is running a bit slow right now (or at least she keeps on complaining to me that it is lol). So I'm looking to install a fresh ROM on it. Thanks

Well give it a try friend, ive seen that OvrDriVEs roms always work on canadia versions so this one might too, I know tmobile N910T3 and W8 are like twins so maybe it will work as is. Also keep following my other thread here for more updated info on the rom.
