Guys, The news is that Nexus one is now available for Pre order with Free Shipping but the thing is it costs around $999 on google checkout.......

Yes, this dosent seem like a good idea. Also from what I understand the big G will be only one actually selling the phone, legally that is.

this doesnt seem very legit to me. I didn't think the nexus had an fm radio rcvr... The phones listed as "import" not covered by manufacturer.

Your joking right ahaha, Well that site is just doing that. I wouldnt spend 1000$ on a nexus one and also not on site ive never heard of lol. I will however pay the price that google lists it for.

Actually The Broadcomm Chip is capable of FM Receiving i dont think android uses it at release though.

price is only $599 now on there site.. But says Pre-Order..

20 bucks says the seller doesn't even have one yet. They are just hoping to get more money than its worth before they buy one from Google tomorrow.

dont think i would buy from this seller that has only a 5 feedback rating and only registered since oct 09 .... i would stay far far away

Tried to order one today (UK). But i've not been able to even view any page about the phone, so as usual it seems like you have to know someone to ship it from the US to get hold of them.

I pre ordered my nexus 7 from the google play store and received it 2 weeks after my friends purchased theirs at a local electronics retailer in Australia. I am glad there is no pre order from google play on the nexus 10

Personally, I'm going to wait a bit for any hardware revisions to come by and fix any possible bugs (Nexus 7 anyone?). So December-January for me.

Does anyone know how long it was after the nexus 7 release until it was available at bestbuy or walmart? I have friends of my family visiting their son in some town I dont remember the name of in SC and there are both walmart and bestbuy there and bestbuy has the possibility for international orders with local pickup and that is perfect as they don't have to pay anything. They are going back to sweden dec 13th. How is expansys? Are they reliable and handle returns well? I figure it would be easier for our friends getting it from bestbuy/walmart if the N10 would have any defects as they could just go back to the store and get it exchanged instead of having to deal with returns through mail to expansys.

I can't remember where, but somewhere yesterday I read it will be available in stores the same day as the play store.

You can get notified by email when it's available. Go to Google Play, enter Nexus 10 in search box. Click on Shop Now (select either 16 or 32gb model). Under Coming Soon enter your email address above Notify Me.

I've tried Google Play on my Galaxy Note and on my laptop but all that there is for sale is Films, Books and Apps and no hardware.
I live in the UK and wondered if hardware was not available here on the Play store, does anyone know?

You can't access the devices section from the app on your phone.
Gotta get there on a computer, or you can access from the browser on your phone as long as you don't have links to play go to the app.

I think in the UK that the shops got the N7 about 2 weeks after google started selling them online, wouldn't be surprised if the same thing happened again.

If anyone can give me a link to pre-ordr in the uk that be great. I want that thing at my door on release day :fingers-crossed:

As soon as I saw the 32GB was in stock at TigerDirect, I ordered one from their website.
I used Google Checkout to place the order. Payment went smooth and I even got an order number.
However, TigerDirect doesn't show my order and the customer care tells me that the order isn't in their database. I searched for similar problems and it seems quite a few people have faced the same. I fear I am stuck with my funds being blocked by Google Checkout for a while. FML

When did you get your funds back from Google? Honestly I'm a bit apprehensive in ordering again. If the same thing happens, I'll be screwed.

I just placed the order again today. So I haven't been refunded. The tracking number said that the package was never picked up by UPS, and they saw that. If it ever arrives, I'll just do an RMA. Good luck to you.

Ordered on Amazon too, got the white 64GB though. The Amazon page says that the 64gb can be expected on December 19 and the 32 on December 1st of I'm not mistaken.
I do hope they come sooner though. The Amazon.co.uk website says that the nexus 6 is being released on December 15.
I know some people who ordered from the German play store and they got a December 15 shipping date as well.

I'm not sure if they cando that? Because on saturn and media markt i think they say the december 31. of earliest shipping day.

I think we can be happy if we get it still this year.

I expect the 15th of december to be the date for both the N9 LTE and the N6 to be released. Hopefully that applies to the accessories of the N9 aswell as I will take a fourth - and hopefully last - try to get that damned tablet without build quality issues.

So I've read a few articles which stated that Google would start shipping today. Has anyone received a shipping notification yet?
The articles also stated that Mediamarkt would have it next week and Amazon.de would ship it next week as well.

Still didnt get a shipping confirmation though, ordered 20 minutes after it was available on play store, 32gb blue version.
Some other news sites said amazon will start shipping on the 11th.

google has told ntv directly that the play store will start selling (and stop accepting preorders) on 5., saturn and media markt will start 9. amazon and sparhandy will start on 11.
but they also said that these dates are subject to change.

I talked to Vodafone in my local area. Luke around 20 shops, and about 4 told me the ordered one single phone and it will arrive from mon to wednesday. If i fest my Finger on one device i will post it Here. **** Google, Id welcome paying 700€ If they'd let me

Same here, Media Markt and Saturn told me that they´re not going to get any Nexus devices in this year, so I got a Vodafone contract with the Device.
Ordered Friday, probably going to arrive tomorrow, if DHL is not lieing to me

Some people say otherwise... But in any event, registration in the samsung shop app just gets "Registration error". Anyone else?

US only from my understanding, Exynos variant doesn't count

I got mines on April 21st, I was still able to register. Fingers crossed lol.
