I enabled the pattern unlock but for some reason the default slider unlock is still there. I have to unlock my phone twice, first the default slider then the pattern unlock. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Im using MDJ froyosense 2.4

Not sure if this is what you are talking about, but maybe try the No Lock app from the market...
hmm let me explain this I get the standard lockscreen display before I can unlock the phone, so it goes:
On/Off Button -> Lock Screen -> unlock pattern
i want it to go On/Off Button -> Unlock Pattern
is that possible?

Did you try the app I suggested? I think it does exactly what you are looking for...
There are also other apps on the market that disable the keyguard.

Ah sorry, I forgot it did that (I use WidgetLocker now to actually replace the lockscreen). I also don't run Sense, so there's normally no lockscreen anyway when pattern lock in enabled.
Looked online and seems like it is a common complaint among Sense users. No good solutions appear to exist from just my quick searches (short of switching to a different). Maybe someone else will have some ideas...
k thx for ur answer i hope someone have a solution

[Q] how unlock screen not vibrate each time Android 2.3 !!

how to make the unlock screen not vibrate each time? i use android 2.3
but i dont want vibrate when i open my screen and unlock it ..
what i must to do ? how can disable it ?
One of my most hated function on Android. What's worse is that there's not an easy OFF switch anywhere in the settings. The only thing you can do is get a new lock widget or disable the unlock screen.

I want to use slide to unlock on my Nexus 4 but I'd like to put a password on it too.

[Q] Lollipop new lock screen

Hi All,
I'm running stock Lollipop 5.0.1 on my Nexus 4. I haven't rooted it and don't plan to
My issue is with the new lock/notification screen. I'm using a pattern to unlock and with the new lock screen I have to swipe up, then enter my pattern which adds an extra step over ICS.
I'm also using the smart lock so that it disables the pattern, but I still have to swipe to unlock which I don't want (I use it in the car connected to the radio and want to use voice commands. So not having to swipe is much handier)
Is it possible to disable this swipe/notification feature and use it like the ICS unlock screen, but retain the smart lock functionality
I've looked at other lock apps but they don't seem to work with smart lock.
Thanks in advance for any help
