I think my sdcard slot is broken obviously because it cant detect any sdcard. Is there any way i could use my internal storage as my primary memory? I mean like for downloading, bluetooth, camera and pretty much for storing everything. I really need it before i sent it for repairing.
There is an option in X5 settings app that let you choose the external or the internal storage instead, but I didn't try it, though.

Since I don't use Aurora rom I can't say yes or no. You may wait for others who can tell you or post your question in Aurora's thread or its general discussion.

No, but you can change swap to make internal memory to your primary memory.

Hey guys,
i have a question but I am not allowed to post in the development forum.
Is App2SD in V4.0 still optional or do I have to partition my sdcard?
Please can you help me?
Marcel
If you don't partition your sdcard, it won't use app2sd.
i know.
But I can use this rom without app2sd too. Is that right?

Your Rom is amazing.
I have another question:
Now I decided to use app2sd and it is really fast. But I have another problem. I can't add widgets to my screen except widgets by system apps.
Can anyone help me? Maybe I forgot a step after flashing my phone.
If im not wrong all apps that uses widgets must be on phone's memory in order to get full access to its functions

Thats because app2sd+ moves the /data folder to a sd's partition right?

yeah and that was my fault. Just forgot to moving to internal memory. So now it is working fine.
Help me to solve this please. in the list of Music player there are a lot of sound files from the cache of gameloft(asphalt).how to do that there wouldn't be any files like these in the list?
Even i had this problem ....
This happened when i put those data file in internal sd and installed the game via a 3mb .apk
To avoid this i directly downloaded a 77mb .apk and installed it.
This is not a solution but one method to avoid them
Put a
".nomedia"
file in all those folders for wic u dnt wan the media files to b detectd.
There's r many apps for tis in the market for tis.
I personally use Gallery Excluder of MrFloppyCoding. Ntn special bt gets d job done!

If u have low memory problem just put that app or game in system app folder then Os will auto locate resources to it.

You can do the same a more smarter way. You need an init.d working kernel for this. Using Root Explorer , push this file to system/etc/init.d and in permissions tick all boxes :

When u put a file(I.e. tweaks) in init.d folder(your kernel shuld support it) it will automagically run on boot
No need to set it on boot
sent using repencis 3.5 wid a2sd
press thnxxx

What I gave does the same which ANY app in play store does. Its better since the apps need to be run at boot which takes some RAM/battery and also the storage space for the same use.

No conflicts with other tweaks. It only improves the reading speed of sd card on Android system. It won't increase your permanent read /write speed.

Hmm. I'm not sure but should be fine. I use with a class 4 sd card and it's fine. If you face any lag or problem with sd card, remove the script. Pm me if you want the tweaks for better ram management.

Hmm..It should not downloaded as a text file. Use another browser or use IDM. It is a extension less file. Hmm..anyways, I dont think that matters. Try moving to phone and see in root explorer if it shows as text, if it doesnt its alright.
It doesnt matter with any other tweaks. Its totally independent.

Welcome to our world.... You can't move apps to your sd. You have to use tools to do this like DirectoryBind or something else.

thank you:highfive:
The easiest way for me was to use an app called "system cleaner". With it you can move (some) apps easily by selecting them. Try it out (or use the search function for the forum, the problem was discussed 1000 times).

Why not. Try it out. The app doesn't cost anything.
If it doesn't work you can try this:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...251bGwsMSwxLDMsImNvbS5kZXZhc3F1ZS5mbW91bnQiXQ..
It worked for me (but you can only mount 3 directories).
Allright, qhile surfing in the xda I found a post about foldermounting along with link2sd.... Can anyone tell me what is foldermount? what is the benefit of this and can i use it in galaxy y???
