Any feedback on how it is running?
Regards.
Team EOS had-has 4.1.2 implemented / up and run'n as well.
CM10 & EOS are ahead of the game. Both are awesome Teams.
Never a dull moment with those two. :highfive:

Just switched to CM after initially using the EOS Stable and then trying out some nightlies, including 151, and the performance difference is like night and day.
Not sure if it's just an optimised Trebuchet, but it's much smoother and snappier than any of the EOS builds I tried.
Running the latest nightly (4.1.2).
Regards.

Honestly, I can't tell much of a difference, but I can be a poor judge of these things.
The only thing I've noticed (compared to my GNex running 4.1.2) is the ability to use 1 finger to open expanded notifications didn't make it's way over to the tablet. Still requires 2 fingers.

JZO54K. Same boot animation. Same wallpaper (from what I remember always seeing). No sound search widget.

As always, the team takes no responsibility for broken phones, bricks, CM7 addiction, ROM flashing withdrawal syndrome or anything else. You assumed all risk and responsibility when you unlocked your phone.
Factory reset/Data wipe before install to prevent being stuck in boot loop.
As far as camera...
I have found Angel Camera to work with zoom, flash and all functions so far.
Zcrugby found Fast burst camera app works but I had to restart the app a couple of times. It did however take a pic and store it in my gallery.

This is tempting, I've always been a cyanogen fan since my old mytouch 1.2 but I think ill stick with honeycomb 3.1 until a more stable version comes around. If the Rom I'm on keeps updating I may just stick with it though and flash cm7 just to check it out. Can't Waite for a release though to see what they bring seeing that this is a new development for them (the atrix)

I read somewhere that the fingerprint scanner SDK just came out, so its possible. However, because Atrix is the only device I know of with an FPS, and CM7 is for many devices, I would guess that FPS will not be in the beta release. It probably wont even be in the official release, but rather a mod released after the fact. Just a guess.
EDIT: Don't work on FINE MODE...

That leaks been out for months. The video is new.
two things that make me wonder if this might be faked.. the baseband is the same as android 2.3.6 baseband/radio(see screenshot from my own phone), and the android version says IceCreamSandwich instead of an android buils number. the launcher and the rest of the build.prop can easily be faked.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linux_kernel
Version 3.0 was released 22 Jul 2011. Torvalds announced that the big change was, "NOTHING. Absolutely nothing."[70] 30 May 2011 saw Torvalds announce, "...let's make sure we really make the next release not just an all new shiny number, but a good kernel too." After the expected 6-7 week development process, it would be released near the 20th anniversary of Linux.

Lol to your credit it's not actually in any distribution yet that I know of. I don't even know if it's been promoted to suitable yet.
And agree, you can easily change the kernel version when you make the build. Just because it says 3.x doesn't mean much

I flashed it, and then flashed faux's kernel on top, w/ no problems... but then I flashed my custom framework and systemui (just cosmetic changes), and I don't know if it was that or my current theme chooser theme, but some of the framework-res images were messed up, and my battery had jumped from 92% to 20%... plus the power menu had changed... standard reboot option now, now longer have the three reboot choices... I just re-flashed my backup I made before hand.
The image issues I had where most likely my fault.
The battery jump of 70% - got me??
The power menu changes - part of new nightly??

Yeah it can drive daily and I can't speak for hhp but I just flashed the Rom then aio aroma gapps linked in op reboot profit (then flash devil kernel later cuz I can't live without it lol)
Edit: I should mention any tweaks made with the android tweaker app(comes with Rom) or pimp my rom sent me for a bootloop on reboot every time leaving me to restore backup after backup until I just decided to not do that stuff. Rom is smooth enough without them anyway.

Used included Bam cleaner to remove apps... Installed aio required ± apps of choice and then b-boys newest play market
.
Only issue I'm seeing is if i restore my bookmarks (data, from ti backup) to bowser it causes it to hang up and reboot any time i try to use browser..

Woohoohoo downloading and installing right now. Thanks!
Also it should be noted that Carbon is now 4.4.3 so make sure folks your GAPPS are 4.4.3.

The GAPPS you linked to was giving me a TON of force close issues upon first boot. So I switched to the more generic ones here and they are working fine so far. I'm using the standard GAPPS which is more than enough for my needs when it comes to GAPPS. Anything I need beyond that like Maps I can grab from Play Store easily.

THANKS
Thanks,
Seems to work pretty smoothly. No problems yet. Even GPS locks immediately...
Ill report any problems..
Mike
I did notice lag issues with trying to use multiple widgets on the home screen. In particular in my case I tried using HD Widgets and PowerAMP. Now to be fair this might be in the Carbon ROM 4.4.3 source so who knows.
I used the standard 4.4.3 gapps provided in the Mad's link. Seems to be working fine.
Just wondering, and I searched but couldnt find the answer, how do we remove the google search bar from the desktop?
Thanks!
I got my sero back! Is the only ROM still in active development?

Nope, the Sero still has lots of XDA goodness ahead of it. @randomblame is working on taktiK ROMs built off of 4.4.4, @davepmer still has CM11 and OmniROM actively in development, I'm building PAC-ROM for 4.4.4 and I'm also working on Ubuntu Touch. @dolorespark also has AOSP 4.4.2 (and an experimental 4.4.3) built, and I'm running it right now. It's by far the most stable ROM, the only bugs being with the GPS having locking issues and GravityBox brightness settings (which I believe was fixed with a GravityBox update lately)

No update, go figure. It's sad, though- an official 4.3 ROM would've sped up development.
Still will. GET OFF YPUR A$$ES HISENSE.

To my knowledge audio over HDMI works on dave's CM11 ROM.
I think the navbar can be resized on Carbon, and I know for a fact it can be resized on PAC.

All of us devs have been posting ROM releases to this thread for convenience. IMHO it's the closest to our own forum we'll ever get.
