nah, doubt someone would go to that much effort, just a couple of weeks before the actual release of ICS.

That leaks been out for months. The video is new.
two things that make me wonder if this might be faked.. the baseband is the same as android 2.3.6 baseband/radio(see screenshot from my own phone), and the android version says IceCreamSandwich instead of an android buils number. the launcher and the rest of the build.prop can easily be faked.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linux_kernel
Version 3.0 was released 22 Jul 2011. Torvalds announced that the big change was, "NOTHING. Absolutely nothing."[70] 30 May 2011 saw Torvalds announce, "...let's make sure we really make the next release not just an all new shiny number, but a good kernel too." After the expected 6-7 week development process, it would be released near the 20th anniversary of Linux.

Lol to your credit it's not actually in any distribution yet that I know of. I don't even know if it's been promoted to suitable yet.
And agree, you can easily change the kernel version when you make the build. Just because it says 3.x doesn't mean much

It's been a fun ride but it's time to put this ROM to rest. R.I.P. CCM7 Eris!
This ROM is built from source with a few changes made by myself. Try it out if you'd like and let me know what you think
What works:
Everything!
What doesn't work:
Maps is touch and go with recent updates. If you have Nav or maps issues uninstall updates through market to restore back to the 5.2 version that's in the ROM

This is tempting, I've always been a cyanogen fan since my old mytouch 1.2 but I think ill stick with honeycomb 3.1 until a more stable version comes around. If the Rom I'm on keeps updating I may just stick with it though and flash cm7 just to check it out. I read somewhere that the fingerprint scanner SDK just came out, so its possible. However, because Atrix is the only device I know of with an FPS, and CM7 is for many devices, I would guess that FPS will not be in the beta release. It probably wont even be in the official release, but rather a mod released after the fact. Just a guess.
EDIT: Don't work on FINE MODE...

Just switched to CM after initially using the EOS Stable and then trying out some nightlies, including 151, and the performance difference is like night and day.
Not sure if it's just an optimised Trebuchet, but it's much smoother and snappier than any of the EOS builds I tried.
Running the latest nightly (4.1.2).

Honestly, I can't tell much of a difference, but I can be a poor judge of these things.
The only thing I've noticed (compared to my GNex running 4.1.2) is the ability to use 1 finger to open expanded notifications didn't make it's way over to the tablet. Still requires 2 fingers.

Hello everybody,
I'm starting this topic apologising for not being that good in modding Android devices.
I own a Samsung Galaxy S Advance GT-I9070 which runs Android 2.3.6.
Following many tutorials I managed to own root permissions and to load a different firmware on my device, which now is like this:
band version I9070XXLD3, kernel version [email protected] #2, build version GINGERBREAD.XXLD3.
I am very happy with my smartphone, it's very quick, all perfect.
I would like to update Android to a more recent version, possibly the last one.
What can I do?
On the official Android site, under the pèage Device Gallery, I couldn't find my model ;-(
Thank you

Hello everybody,
I'm starting this topic apologising for not being that good in modding Android devices.
I own a Samsung Galaxy S Advance GT-I9070 which runs Android 2.3.6.
Following many tutorials I managed to own root permissions and to load a different firmware on my device, which now is like this:
band version I9070XXLD3, kernel version [email protected] #2, build version GINGERBREAD.XXLD3.
I am very happy with my smartphone, it's very quick, all perfect.
I would like to update Android to a more recent version, possibly the last one.
What can I do?

Thank you

There is no latest update for I9070 than the one you have now. No 4.1, and no 4.2 too.

I understand.
Sorry for not posting the title in the correct way, meaning "[GT-I9070] - Updating from Gingerbread 2.3.6 to Jelly Bean 4.2". I tried to edit it, but couldn't.
So I guess there's no way to update & upgrade my device, even if it's owned by root permissions.
Thanks anyway.
