[Q]what can i do ?

uh hello everyone,
i have few questions about my vibrant
after buying the phone i realized *someone* installed custom rom & kernel i think.
and i want to install Bionix 1.6 rom > because gps not working
what can i do
about phone screen showing these:
model number: SGH-T959
android version: 2.2
baseband version: T959UVJFD
kernel version: 2.6.32.9 root sep-53 #1
build number: FRF91.UVJFD

newbie to Galaxy S2

i just bought a new Galaxy S2. UK version i believe.
i tried to update firmware to 2.3.4 but Kies says the device cannot be updated or something...
i have seen showthread.php?t=1075278 but i am confused which one i need...
here is some info from about phone:
Model number: GT-I91000
Android version: 2.3.3
Baseband version: I9100XXKF2
Kernel version: 2.6.35.7-I9100XXKF2-CL25304 [email protected] #2
Build number: GINGERBREAD.XXKF2.

Correct Kies = official firmware upgrades only .

You dont need any but if you want the unofficial updates then KH1 is the latest in that post .
XXKH3 2.3.4 latest from Frankenstein packages that thread .

do a battery calibration before a battery consumption judgement.
I use LeoMar Revolution 2.6, it is a very easy to use ROM with lots of themes and you can flash it with his kitchen app.
the yellow triangle is for unsafe kernel, it is used for rooting the device. don't let it bother you

Ive bought Motorola Defy Plus and the phone is clean (without root)
And root pretty important to me so i want to root my phone.
But i dont know how...
Here some details:
System Version - 45.0.2310.MB526.Partner.en.IL
Model Number - MB526
Android Version - 2.3.6
Baseband Version - EPU93_U_00.60.3
Kernel Version - 2.6.32.9-ge281b6e in the bottom - [email protected] #1

2.3.6 is BL6.so you must flash the SBF File.then install bootmenu and cwm.and you can flash .zip now

TROUBLES after rooting the Galaxy S4 (I-9500)

Hey folks,
I just got my Samsung Galaxy S4 (Indian version) rooted the other day. After the rooting process, the phone has become quite laggy. When I opened the camera it gave me the "camera failed" message. The volume buttons ain't working properly as well. The phone is really acting weird. Can anyone help me out??
Here are the details of the current scenario of my device:
Model Number : GT-I9500
Android Version : 4.2.2
Baseband Version : I9500DDUBMF8
Kernel Version : [email protected] #24 Tue May 09:04:05 WEST 2013

Flash the latest Kernal by adam and it should be fine
incase u still have issue
Flash The stock firmware latest is MG1 get the link from from Signature
and the root using CF root Method
Camera is broken in certain Kernal there is a fix also but now i m not able to find

Thanks for the reply, Hiten. I got the rooting done from someone else so I guess I should show him your message and ask him to do the needful. Will recover first and then redo the rooting process using the CF method as you suggested... BTW, can you recommend me some must have/fun tweaks after the device is rooted ? Can we add more gestures or something unique ? Thanks once again.. Cheers!

U can have 3 minit framework thats nice ,
Use nova launcher / apex launcher have many gesture based commands
Flash some animation which works with TW launcher makes the phone do little danching while opening etc

Note flashing the above needs a Recovery u can use philz recovery to flash it

It's just a warning message,so just simply ignore it since there's not gonna be any problem at all..however the solution would be to flash a stock rom or kernel

If your having a problem then flash a stock rom go here and sign up then choose the firmware/model from your country. and flash it via odin by selecting PDA.http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/2/

Its a clean stock rom. Just like the first time you bought it . No root and such. And about the knox you cant do anything about it if you already void it ,unless someone figure it out how to reset it. If you wanna know about knox visit this thread
