Hello everyone ,
Can any one tell me where I will get Jelly bean custom ROM for arc s ?
Thx,
ksk
i just flashed this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1836993
it's a very great rom!
By jelly bean do you mean a real jelly bean ROM? CM10. Everything else are ICS ROMs with a few jelly bean features.

Jelly Sandwich by Max is even the best for locked bootloader and very fast.
AOKP JB rom is by far the best I have tried and I have been testing/trying for a while to find one...
Take a look here...

Hey guys, can anyone recommend me the "most-stable" JB rom, for everyday use? How's Slim Bean for example? Last time i flashed it (one of the first versions, tho) i had problems with network, gallery, etc.. are they solved with the latest ROMs?
Which bugs still need to be solved?
I'd like to pass to 4.1 from my SlimICS but i'd need some tips on which one to flash!
Thanks
I'm currently on HellyBean 09/04 and I must say it's really smooth and stable for me. Try it out: www.hellybean.com
Slim Bean works great for me. Very smooth, I've not encountered any bugs yet.
The new slim bean is as stable as slim ics.

Tried CM10 and Slim Bean. The latter is even smoother. Slim Bean has a GPS issue, but there's a special patch to resolve this. I'm happy now.

ring tone volume bug??
what about the ring tone volume ??
it says that all jelly bean roms have this issue " low ring tone volume " and cant be changed from setting any solution for that ?? is there a rom has not this bug??
Tried several roms and the ringtones were normal.

Slim Bean, now 2.3. GPS fixed. Everything is fine. there is only a small fix for videos.

My fav right now is: Remics-JB 2.0.0 Rev1
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1804032
So far so good .. stable, and like the S3 UI.
But it took me some time to get it working when I upgraded from ICS. I had bootloop problems couple of times.
How I got it to work: I went back to stock, got CM9 working, then upgraded to CM10 nightly, and then went to Remics.
I've also tried CM10 nightly with S3 add-on, Slim Bean with S3 add-on, and Magic Bean, but like Remics the best.
I'm sure everyone has diff tastes, so I'd just keep trying diff roms til you find the one you like.
Other tweaks independant of the ROMs I tried
- changed the modem to the one thats better for my area
- changed accuweather widget to fancy widget
- wallpaper, ringtone, notifications, ... you know the small stuff that everyone changes
Many thanks for all the tips guys, installed Slimbean 2.3 yesterday and after one day of usage it seems very stable and bugfree to me, as always with the slim-roms perhaps i'll try some others when i have time, but i gotta say Slimbean is just perfect!
I was wondering if there was any stable rom of ICS for GT-S5360? Stble as in doesnt cause the phone to screw up or something. If there is Pm me a link and how to install it lol .
Look for Development Section, there are lots of custom rom especially INSPIRED ROM like jelly bean, Ice cream sanwich, etc.
Sorry to inform you but there are no ics Roms for our phone (so u can forget about stable ones) what you can get however are ics-like rom meaning that your phone will look like ics but you'll still be running gingerbread you can find 1 here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1636983 that's creeds rom a real good 1 in my opinion all the info you need on flashing/installing is in the tread... hit thanks if I helped
Hit THANKS you ungrateful bastard...plz
Well we do have cm9 which is in other words ics - check it out ! - don't know what you mean by stable but its quite usable !
Use creed 3.5 with ics trans theme. You will get that at development section.

By stable i mean that it doesn't crash the phone . It increases the android version if ics is not available is there any other Rom higher than 3.0 . And also btw how do we increase processor speed

Cm9 doesn't crash just few bugs major of which being software rendering so you won't be able to play games !
For overaclocking you can try merruk technologies deluxe kernel - it provides 1.2 ghz overclock !

No ..
We havent got any version above 2.3.5 except for the cm9(ics) and cm7(2.3.7).
For overclocking you need custom kernels. See it in general/developement threads.

Clearcut answer - no stable ics for sgy yet
Try jelly blast v3 if you want a jelly bean rom if you don't just get the ics theme for jelly blast under the theming and addons section

Umm Guys is CM10.1 really worth try as u all started making ROM on its base ?
BTW great looking rom +1
I tried so many ROM named jelly noid or jelly blast etc. frm xda but none worked in my Galaxy Y
Anyone please give me jb or ics working & tested rom.
itz better if it is flashable by Odin..
plz help
Sent from my Rooted GT-S5360 With Stock ROM using xda app-developers app
To start with those roms are banned - please don't mention here
To answer question all roms except stock firmware here are flashed by cwm
make sure you wipe data system cache in cwm and then mount system data cache before you flash a rom zip
there is no jellybean for galaxy y & no ics that has network for galaxy y (bootable only)
there are roms that are themed to look like jellybean but they are a version of gingerbread
look in dev section and read the roms op look at screen shots & features and see what you like
no one will suggest a best rom for you as of course this is against xda rules

those roms aren't even a complete custom rom, as they are just themed stock roms. and they should work if you follow instuctions. they are tying to get ics working, but there are only a few things that do work on that, there are quite a lot of bugs that they still need to fix. so if you want ics/jellybean i would suggest, buy a new phone that can run it (no offense)
Its impossible for Galaxy y to boot real JB ICS etc. due to hardware limitations of CPU AND RAM. CM ROMs are not much stable and have problems because of hardware acceleration problem.
Jelly blast jellynoid etc ROMs are just cooked (themed) stock 2.3.6 Gingerbread ROMs.

If your looking for a stable rom download Cyanogen7 which is GB or Stepps_Aospx which is ICS
Not sure what you mean by stock dialer
