I was wondering if there was any stable rom of ICS for GT-S5360? Stble as in doesnt cause the phone to screw up or something. If there is Pm me a link and how to install it lol .
Look for Development Section, there are lots of custom rom especially INSPIRED ROM like jelly bean, Ice cream sanwich, etc.
Sorry to inform you but there are no ics Roms for our phone (so u can forget about stable ones) what you can get however are ics-like rom meaning that your phone will look like ics but you'll still be running gingerbread you can find 1 here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1636983 that's creeds rom a real good 1 in my opinion all the info you need on flashing/installing is in the tread... hit thanks if I helped

Well we do have cm9 which is in other words ics - check it out ! - don't know what you mean by stable but its quite usable !
Use creed 3.5 with ics trans theme. You will get that at development section.

Cm9 doesn't crash just few bugs major of which being software rendering so you won't be able to play games !
For overaclocking you can try merruk technologies deluxe kernel - it provides 1.2 ghz overclock !

No ..
We havent got any version above 2.3.5 except for the cm9(ics) and cm7(2.3.7).
For overclocking you need custom kernels. See it in general/developement threads.

Note: The updates have to be installed after installing the rom.
for installing updates:
1)go to cwm then wipe cache partition.
2)the select install zip from sd card.
3)choose zip from sd card.
4)install the 1st update then 2nd and then 3rd and reboot after every update.
PS:Make sure after installing the rom u don't make any changes to the status bar if u make then after installing the last update it will force close...

Try jelly blast v3 if you want a jelly bean rom if you don't just get the ics theme for jelly blast under the theming and addons section

I present to you my First Rom for our beloved galaxy ace.
This Rom is based on The sgsll Rom by Rushabh25 ( i took his permissions of course].
I call it The AashROM 2.3.
MAIN FEATURES:-
Nexus S launcher
MIUI Music as default music player
Cm7 Messaging app for more speed
WP7 keyboard
Google Gears bootanimation
6 live wallpapers included from nexus S
MIUI Camera
MIUI Gallery for better browsing through photos
Battery life was quite good. It lasted for almost 2 full days on quite a bit of usage .
Speed is awesome. I got 1526 score on quadrant standard which is quite good on a stock rom. This is the point ( according to me) where cm7 spped and stock rom battery life meet!!!

HOW TO INSTALL:-
Since I'm at Home The Zip isn't a flashable Zip But a Clockworkmod backup extract the zip and put the extracted folder SD card/ClockWorkMod/backup/ then Reboot to Recovey(ClockWorkMod 4/5 Is neccessary)and restore it as a nandroid backup.FOR ALL THOSE WHO ARE GETTING MD5 mismatch- REname the backup to "AashRom_2.3_backup" instead of "Aashrom 2.3 ". Then it will surely work

everything looks cool... It looks like mixture of MIUI, NEXUS everything... Screenshots should have been thr else ppl think its just another themed ROM... And u told CMW 4 cant we flash using CWM 5?

clockworkmod 4 will also do. read the |OP|. well at least i got 1526 when i installed cm7.1 at 800 mhz. Even then , 1526 is quite gogod as compared to other stock. next time i did quadrant score, i got 1439.

Ya sorry i was seeing another ROM... CWM 4/5.. I dont believe on quadrant scores who knows whether they r perfect.. sometimes shows my fone faster than desire .. CyanogenMod feels faster.. I left the stock ROMs long back.. The features of CM are mind blowing.. Dint see much change in my battery stats between CM and stock...

The place I work has totally 6 ace's.. I m the only one running CM all other's hav pure stock.. I just tested my friend ace fully charged then played game.. browsed edge net so result was it lasted for 7 hrs .. so I decided to stick to CM.. stock is good...

I am sorry to say that this rom is completely sgsII rom with very few modifications...i dont think you should present a whole new rom with very few features which you have added yourself....so there is no point presenting a new rom which is actually ALMOST completely same as the base rom!
I hope you are not doing this for thanks meter of yours
Try to add some more REAL features !!

no.
CM9 is the closest ICS-based rom for SGY,
it is unstable and unusable for daily use
use search function,
and look for current developments in the development section
CM9 by WhiteXp is still Unstable! Generally people theme their ROM to look like the Firmware they Like.....
Note - these are not ics 4.0 rom
u can use nemesis rom , hyperion 8 rom which is jellybean styled rom..bt nemesis rom fully jellybean themed rom but its lag lil becoz of its launcher u can remove its launcher...it will be smooth..:laugh:
No you can't, at least that's what I heard till now...
But you can try Custom ROMs and flash an ICS Theme to it. Like Repencis v3.5 ROM, and this is for the ICS Theme
Well, you can't upgrade the mobile to android 4.0. CM9 is very unstable, and that really the only rom which has the features of ics. Roms such as jellyblast don't work.

You can also try ICS_fusion by hell_lock.
It gives ICS like experience.
Generally THD games require JB+,but some might work on GB.
Just try using cf3D plugins.
Just edit your build.prop if u want to play ICS games.

definetly impossible,
armv7 is a CPU architecture which means it has to be configured to the diodes in the chip itself,
even with instruction coding it will not work
you can't make armv6 to armv7 via software code,
same thing as pasting 2 pentium 4 cores does not make it a dual core

Definitely its impossible.
The type of GPU you use is not software its hardware.
I tried so many ROM named jelly noid or jelly blast etc. frm xda but none worked in my Galaxy Y
Anyone please give me jb or ics working & tested rom.

To start with those roms are banned - please don't mention here
To answer question all roms except stock firmware here are flashed by cwm
make sure you wipe data system cache in cwm and then mount system data cache before you flash a rom zip
there is no jellybean for galaxy y & no ics that has network for galaxy y (bootable only)
there are roms that are themed to look like jellybean but they are a version of gingerbread
look in dev section and read the roms op look at screen shots & features and see what you like
no one will suggest a best rom for you as of course this is against xda rules

those roms aren't even a complete custom rom, as they are just themed stock roms. and they should work if you follow instuctions. they are tying to get ics working, but there are only a few things that do work on that, there are quite a lot of bugs that they still need to fix. so if you want ics/jellybean i would suggest, buy a new phone that can run it (no offense)
Its impossible for Galaxy y to boot real JB ICS etc. due to hardware limitations of CPU AND RAM. CM ROMs are not much stable and have problems because of hardware acceleration problem.
Jelly blast jellynoid etc ROMs are just cooked (themed) stock 2.3.6 Gingerbread ROMs.

I wouldn't recommend JellyBlast because development for that rom has already stopped plus jellyblast is a banned rom, others may not help you when you encounter problems.
get BeautySense if you like sense ui (htc phones).
however, you may want to check out other roms out there
I tested alot of stock based roms and I liked hyperion 8 pre gm the most.
+jelly bean themed
+Transparency in some apps
+Stable (no statusbar fc or anything)
+fast
-black text on black background bug

I was stressing on the fact that we don't know what you like or are interested in , so for example I like AOSP Roms (Pure Roms form google) which has been slightly modiied but you may like Touchwiz more than stock android
I suggest you to Try CyanogenMod 7.2 Optimized by Android-XDA. Thos rom is an AOSP rom. Hyper Light (65 MB = More space for user apps.) Then this rom is really fast and Smooth. I didn't checked if thos rom has Arabic support, maybe. However, i think it's possible to add it. Check this rom you will not be disappointed.

See different people have different taste and use for a rom. So if you like more space, go for cyanogenmod
