Your signature says that you are using huawei ideos u8150. If so, this kernel is not for your phone. It's for Huawei U8800 Pro. To fix this problem, just restore using a backup.

This kernel based on geno's kernel. I can't say anything about comparison because I didn't test Kalo's ROM.I tested it on B528 (Offical Huawei ROM,as same as Kalo's ROM) and I haven't encountered any problems. Can you write Kalo's default kernel's information?

often there are problems with stability of the data connection. When the connection is active, the icons change color from white to green and the connection start fine. however, the connection jumps continuously and recovery of the signal is very slow and frustrating. Is there a way to improve the stability? Maybe changing some parameters in build.prop? My internet experience whit this devices is mortyfing. I had some improvements with this kernel, but a further effort would be appreciated!! thanks

[Q] Finding rom

Hi!
I'm searching for stable rom, with who run games and wifi is working. I have tried many but in 2.3.7 rom games isnt working and in 2.2.1 rom there are many bug (Wi-Fi) .. .
Do i have to download any kind an attachment?
What rom do u use now? Maybe i can suggest u some roms
Utopia 1.5 wifi works, flash works, bbc iplayer 1.3 works, quadrent score of 845 @ 744mhz. I've switched back to this after trying all the other roms.
Ok after several days of use there has been the odd random reboot.

Hi, i have a problem too, i can't find a decent rom which is stable and with fully working wiki, buttons and etc.
I wanted to flash to original Baltic V20D version, but i can't find it on the internet, lg's links are gone.. So what do you reccomend to do?
Maybe someone can provide a working link to an original rom, or recommend a stable rom in which everything works?
Recently i tried to flash to Baltic V20B but sometimes phone is turning off with no reason, it wasn't happening when i had 1.6 original version.
I use CyanogenMod 9 | Projects IceCreamSwift - Android 4.0.4 | by miroslav_mm with 256mb swap and OC'd 245-800Mhz. It works well. I play hd games from gameloft.
I don't know i can't install it through recovery menu. Maybe there is other method for this rom?

You wrote that you looking for stabile full working rom. I sugest you to try miroslav sdsl 1.1. It is fasta, stabile and everithing work perfect. You can try sdsl v2 with kernel from v1.1 becouse .35 kernel dont work perfect atm.
For now ICS beside roms are not so gr8, all of them are just to slow.

games like what ? asphalt 5 ?
The only rom ( and kernel as well ) that's being balanced towards stability and performance is CM7 by tejas ( build three currently ) I tested all GT540 roms and i find it to be best for person who want daily rom with ability to play games. Don't get me wrong, SDSL ( with revo .29 kernel ) is pretty good as well but it lacks stability after some time of use, it also has worse battery life and battery indication level. Not mentioning the fact that .29 kernel roms are not as smooth as the .32 ones. The only drawback of .32 pcfighter kernel is wifi error but it doesn't happen often with latest tejas build.
Try AOSP 2.3 , very stable

[Q] x5 Settings for .35 kernel

Hello,
As far as I know, none of the available .35 ROMs include x5 Settings.apk. I am mostly interested in the use of the internal microphone while having headphones connected. Is it possible to install it somehow (maybe transfer it from a .32 ROM) or does it need support from the ROM itself?

This. For me, it's the only thing that keeps me going to .32 ROMS all the time. I'm trying to keep ICS aurora, but it's very hard not to be able to make calls while using headphones or using my car's speakers.
AFAIK,the only way to enable force mic with headphones in .35 ROMS is by using this kernel by ksatta. I doesn't work with Aurora ICS ROM but it works with stock .35 and CM7.35, so if you are using any of those, it enables that option for you.

Doesn't work. The only sound setting that x5settings version has is call volume, and I'm really not sure if that even works...
i see. i hope we see it implemented sometime. it's the reason why i do not upgrade to .35 kernel.

[FIX] CM10 917+ Builds Choppy/Laggy [NEW PATCH][PAWITP]

Do you feel the CM10 917+ Builds are less buttery or more choppy... It is due to a change in the CM source that removes VSYNC and replaces it with IOCTL that is much more power efficient.! Anyway if you want the smoothness over power until CM fixes it...
Flash this pack to revert the changes to the VSYNC.! [works with 917&918]
PS: Make sure you flash Either CM10 914 Kernel or Semaphore 2.1.0/2.1.0s or Devil before 917 , else you will have a black screen, after flashing the pack as they require kernel change.!
PS: New NOMUTEX Patch by pawitp. Download.! [Flash in Recovery. No need for kernel changes.]
ok, good to know there is a workaround for when the latest flashed cm10 is lagging, thx for that!
one question though: you only write cm10kernel or semaphore, is it not possible to use this with devil-kernel?
EDIT: 1.4.1 of DerTeufel's jellybean-kernel should work, too, shouldn't it?
it was made before the vsync-change and it is a kernel for cm10.
or is there any specific reason why devil-kernel not works for this?
EDIT2: ok, i just saw your edit right now, thx!
so everybody that wants to use cm10 WITHOUT the new vsync-change WITH devil-kernel should flash version 1.4.1 of it after flashing this mod.
greetz n thx,
sUsH

Yes the latest version is.
yeah i experience the same problem
after flashing back to 9/14
all problem gone
I think there's bug in 17and 18 version
I read from the thread that the 918 build solves the problem... Don't quote me on this though.
so for the NOMUTEX-patch-thing it is NOT necessary to flash an older kernel, is that right?
greetz,

ah, ok, i get it, no kernel mod required cause there is a kernel included that gets flashed when using this zip...
so i better ask again:
can this new patch be used with other kernels?
and since there is a kernel included, the way would be
1. flash rom
2. flash patch
3. flash wished kernel
is that right?
EDIT: any idea what the patch.diff in the flashable is good for?
thx for clarification!

I believe IOCTL will hold a lock on the framebuffer that is released only during the next vsync. this is the reason for microlags.

IOCTL is Input Output Control. It is a specific system call/api that does i/o operations in the system.

So, what's the gain? the latest CM11 kernels is more unstable than CM10.2 and the latest 10.2 have no camera for green lens. So what's the point?
so if you are intrerested.. you only have to do the same..

Hi
well, now i can tell this, the governors cpu go erratic/crazy with the kernel cm-11-20140131-NIGHTLY-mb526.zip
i look into the dmesg.. and i don't see anything wierd thing... in fact.. i compared 20140131 with the update http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=47827999&postcount=1654 and look similar.. even the same error :silly:
i don't konw what to do..
cpu erratic: i try to change the governor, the most stable one, is boosted. Interactive, smartass and indemand, when i try this, it just jump 300 to 1200 (overclock ), almost don't pass to 600 and 800.
Any ideas how to fix the governors cpu going crazy??
Pd: both dmesg included.
Pd2: new info, i flashed the last one kernel 6-02-2014, and is more stable, the cpu erratic/crazy things... doesn't appaers :fingers-crossed: governor cpu interactive
Thank's
Have fun
