Kno App is definitely on my Note 10.1, so not sure what you're sayin' there. S-Voice? Gimmick. And Google Now is JB only, as has been said. Nothing terribly special, either -- I used it for awhile on my Galaxy Nexus and honestly found that it wasn't my cup of tea. I don't personally like having Google store my web search history, which is a requirement for Google Now to function properly.
As far as the Samsung "hubs" ... yeah. They are the first things I disable when I get a new Sammy device. No loss there for me.
The Note 10.1 is great -- if you're passing on it just because of that short list of "missing" apps, you're the one missing out, imho.

Ok im trying to get the samsung kies app store because i hear they have a working version of nfs shift.
I would like to play it because i payed for it.
I know it says doesnt work on galaxy tab but what im trying to figure out where all these people on youtube are getting working versions from and i see that alot of them have gotten it from there.

Hi, kai v2 does not connect good with the tab-slow and poor ui.also cannot tether(?). Uninstalled and back with old version 1.5. Can download 98mb for about 15 min using kai v1.5. An hour or 2 using normal laptop connection!!!!
Other members may have different experience though.

Its on samsung apps on the device itself. The download is big (100+Mb) so better be on wifi.

I have an S4 Active, but I think the question pertains to both S4 and the Active since they are very similar to each other.
I tried to disable Samsung apps OR other unnecessary apps (through the Application Manager) that I don't use, whether it is a foreground apps (Samsung Hub) or background app (Samsung SyncAdapter). However, this CRASHES TouchWiz.
So which one can I disable safely?

Rule #0 - try to do the search first before treating me like a noob.
I HAVE searched for it but NO THREAD listed the stuff I listed above, it's either remove all or none. I just want to remove some of the stuff because otherwise removing all will break Touchwiz.
Also, I am not rooted (cannot use Debloat tool) because no root exists yet for the S4 Active.

Chill out. The S4 Active is NOT an S4. This phone doesn't even have its own forum on xda, yet. This device is barely in its infancy, and there aren't many threads on the web talking about debloating the Active (SGH-I537) or much else besides geohot's Active root.
I have this phone, and the post above is useful. Stop acting like this is an S4. Its simply not.

Edit: Traded the S4 active in for the S4. Much more love for this device. The only feature I missed was the vokume rocker flashlight... I have it now thanks to xposed framework

So I just tested with note 2 with android 4.3 with a Galaxy Gear on the store and it works.

So guys I just got my Galaxy Gear and so far everything seems like working. The only thing missing is some application from the app store.
Where is speaker on that watch

Having everything stock. S4 with 4.2.2 Android, 32LTE international unlocked.
Downloaded Gear Manager directly from Google Play, and everything works with the Gear just fine. From display control to syncing, data transferring, notifications etc... All apps within Gear App Store also available to download. Not too great selection just yet, but my hopes that the XDA community will introduce some new, cool stuff, once the Gear is widely available.

Which 4.3 ROM did you use on the Note 2 that works w galaxy gear. I have paranoid android 3.9 but there are issues. Would really like to get them working.
I have the leaked 4.3 on my Note2, but the only thing that works on the Gear-watch is incomming calls. No watchfaces or apps work.

Download 4.3 and just install a Galaxy Gear APP, and the watch works very fine!!!

Does anyone know if there is a tablet app for Android that is comparable to the iPad application and where that apk might be found.? I have looked I have googled and I have had no luck. I went to the evozi apk downloader (google and you will find it) and pulled the apk file from the play store. I did not tell me which device it was for, however everything feature runs well on my tab. The only thing that causes the occasional crash is create-a-solider. The people who made the app said there will be not android tablet version and the app is not intended for 7" devices. How to use evozi: Go to that site, copy and paste the app url from the play store, then download, move to your device, install!

Hi,
I have a friend with a Russian note II and access to Russian Samsung store. He showed me a free new S-Note app upgrade for his note II available on that store. When I am trying to open the same app (by shared link) on my Canadian Samsung App store it says that this product is not available in this store. I also tried to register with different accounts, got the same result.
Is there any way to get new S-Note on my Note II without rooting device? I own a new Note 10.1 2014 and I want to have synchronization.
And rhetoric question, why we don't have new S-Note in Samsung App Store?

Well, I got a link for a working new S-Note downloaded from Samsung Apps. It is little bit suspicious. I checked it with AVG and it looks fine.
