I'm gonna be porting a themed rom that I ported to Bionic. But since I don't have this device, I'm gonna need some testers.

This looks pretty cool, count me in for testing as well. :good:

I can test as well but I am in the same boat as Alaman. My EVO just stays in airplane mode and I only use wifi.

Cool, now that I know I have some testers, ill try and have a test version out later. Ill be posting it here and if possible screenies would be nice if it booted. Thanks guys!

Hey i know all about trial and error mate,haha.

...ok then, loaded current preview from earlier today and here's what we got:
smelkusmod RA Recovery, nan-backup, Superwipe, flashed XperiaSupersonice.zip
I never get tired of that cyanogen(mod) boot animation. Ver. 9 looks nice!
Takes a long time loading (to be expected with a new ROM)
After 5+ minutes I did a battery pull and reboot (bootloop)
After 5+ minutes (bootloop again) pulled battery and rebooted to recovery.
Dirty flashed XperiaSupersonice.zip again
Clear dalvik cache/cache and flashed Mason-EI-0.1.5-RC5-sbc kernel (for S&G why not?)
Reboot to another bootloop (30+ minutes this time, just to be sure)
Anxiously awaiting next release! :fingers-crossed:

Yeah, on Elderatthis's github, it shows how to make a alt-rom. I didn't follow directions properly. But I am working on it.

Have you tested it yet? feedback would help.

I was figuring out how to do it, but wanted some features like no auto update on zipaligned APKs. I find them faster.

It seems that if you we're previously rooted it would not matter, I am using it fine right now, I was using root explorer to delete some useless data and it was fine

The beta of the rom for atrix is out based in 4.1.
Tried 2 times to dowload but servers in china from time to time is a mess.
But hereit is. You have to put this code: 9765 in the empty box then click the blue box to download the rom.
Pd: if someone can upload it to a closer site will help!

If u dont wanna test it then dont flash it lol. Its a beta so its for testers. I like miui and v5 is really nice

Tested it, looks nice, does not have G apps though, and the cool new keyboard is in Chinese a bit.

Yup, because Camcorder is borked. But, Camera is work better than plain CM10. On CM I have problems with delays.

I'm searching to find more info...
They have already released it for some devices. I think they just didn't want the one who ported it to release it.
But the dev who ported for Atrix did release it. So making another mirror isn't changing anything.
Maybe keep it on google drive but don't post in development thread.

Well seeing as the rom is a port there is no chance the camera would work since there is no base rom
with camera working.

bro..i think there is some think like building a rom from source is there and by which u can create a new cm 10 rom is it ok:good:

You can compile roms from source but most of the time they will be like most of the roms already out there for this phone. Also it will not fix the camera problem because it is yet to be resolved.

Yeah tried the rom it is alright. Just ported three new roms for this phone from the optimus one but they all seem to have a weird touch problem.

and would u plzz..show me on youtube the problem ur facing so that it can be fixed because my touch is working fluidly without any problem so make a video and upload to youtube

You're asking a lot I'm not sure but do you have asked that already in some threads..? There is small possibility that we see Lollipop on u8800pro but we just have to wait.
But @Blefish have made great job with u8800 and u8860 so make donation for him? Or even better if you have a spare u8800pro send it to him so he can take a look on it and probably make a Android 5 for u8800pro.

Looks very shady site, links do not work at all and those positive comments on site.. And why the rom is not here in XDA or some other popular site like 4pda? But this made my day: Upgrade/Update Nokia 3310 to 5.0 Lollipop. Looks like a hoax to me.
EDIT: In case if you're wondering what is Nokia 3310 check Wikipedia - Nokia 3310. I owned 3330, it was a good phone.

Ha ha, alarm bells started ringing as soon as I saw this link ,its funny no one has mentioned anything about even starting to develop 5.0 ,then all of a sudden there is a download link to what is an apparently finished (or at least usable) ROM...sure enough when trying said link,we get a 'click on an offer' page before continuing. Brilliant.

Yes, that website is fake, it is designed to make money of people who visit. I decided to leave the links and discussion about it up as it may help other people realize that it is just a scam rather than making new posts about it!

The cm-12.1 (L5.0) for Ideos X5 U8800 Pro is allready available for download! But Need TWRP recovery 2.8.6.0 to install. All Thanks to Blefish

TWRP 2.8.6.0 is needed. u8800 and u8860 has TWRP 2.8.6.0, but u8800pro version hasn't 2.8.6.0 recovery. Wating for new TWRP in few days...

But I heard, that on u8800 working good and without critical bugs. Seems, u8800pro got stable rom too.

We just have 5.1 in u8800pro
Steps:
1) TWRP last version sourceforge . net/projects/legacyhuawei/files/Recoveries/U8800PRO/
2)BlePart sourceforge . net/p/legacyhuawei/wiki/BlePart-LVM/
3) ROM legacyhuawei . ddns . net/CyanogenModOTA/_builds/u8800pro/
4) Google Apps 5.1 Minimal androidfilehost . com/?fid=95916177934550851

If I understand good, I have to repartitioning the size, through "Blepart-LVM-11.ZIP" file on my U8800+.
I flash the TWRP 2.6.0 recovery (through recovery or replace on pink screen will be the same???), flash through new recovery the file "Blepart-LVM-11.ZIP", and restart the phone.
Now I can install the new Lollipop Rom and sequently the Minimal Gapps (If I want).
Is correct???
Second question, Is correct to say that after changed the partition, I no must install any old ROM not based on VLM, but if I want do it, I have to come back to Not VLM, flashing again the file on recovery???

I did this:
Install TWRP, reboot
Install LVM, reboot
install ROM y GApps, reboot
For remove LVM, flash it two times I read it in the wiki
All infomation is in the sourceforge link (section wiki). Sorry I'm new here and I can't post urls. I created a topic where there are some pics if you think that is fake.
