hit china unicom download. its taking ages for me.

8 Hours remaining, this takes me back to the 56K era
Anyway, all we need is the camera and HDMI binaries, and the next EOS nightly is built tomorrow.

May I request something when you post in the future though?
Keep in mind that of all the languages people speak here, Chinese probably isn't one of the ones we are most familiar with and the hardest to read/translate. If you could simplify some things when posting those links that would be great like link to the direct download or provide a screenshot and some circles of what to click. Took forever; even with translation; to figure out what to click..and I can't even explain that now.
Also when adding info please go back and edit your original posting so it all flows together
Downloading the rom (never knew we could SBF our xooms) and we'll see what's what! If anything, this could give Tiamat the official Xoom binaries for some items!

Use google-translate. I registered and I'm now downloading HUBWF_W5.I.7.1-14_HUBBLEWIFIHKTWNGEN_P007_A035_HWwifi_hubble_Service1FF.sbf.gz it's 148mb and I still have 3hrs to go. It's slow + I'm not sure if this is the right file.

They look like the same pictures posted from the Chinese Hoax ICS leak yesterday. You sure this is not the same stuff going round. I can't confirm it was a hoax, but if it sounds too good it usually is.

This looks pretty cool, count me in for testing as well. :good:

I can test as well but I am in the same boat as Alaman. My EVO just stays in airplane mode and I only use wifi.

Cool, now that I know I have some testers, ill try and have a test version out later. Ill be posting it here and if possible screenies would be nice if it booted. Thanks guys!

Hey i know all about trial and error mate,haha.

...ok then, loaded current preview from earlier today and here's what we got:
smelkusmod RA Recovery, nan-backup, Superwipe, flashed XperiaSupersonice.zip
I never get tired of that cyanogen(mod) boot animation. Ver. 9 looks nice!
Takes a long time loading (to be expected with a new ROM)
After 5+ minutes I did a battery pull and reboot (bootloop)
After 5+ minutes (bootloop again) pulled battery and rebooted to recovery.
Dirty flashed XperiaSupersonice.zip again
Clear dalvik cache/cache and flashed Mason-EI-0.1.5-RC5-sbc kernel (for S&G why not?)
Reboot to another bootloop (30+ minutes this time, just to be sure)
Anxiously awaiting next release! :fingers-crossed:

Well seeing as the rom is a port there is no chance the camera would work since there is no base rom
with camera working.

bro..i think there is some think like building a rom from source is there and by which u can create a new cm 10 rom is it ok:good:

You can compile roms from source but most of the time they will be like most of the roms already out there for this phone. Also it will not fix the camera problem because it is yet to be resolved.

Yeah tried the rom it is alright. Just ported three new roms for this phone from the optimus one but they all seem to have a weird touch problem.

so u bro admitted that cm 10 is built for lg p690 ya so like my rom and comment good for this rom and good news is that i had ported a new rom try it it name is ginger jelly and let me know

and would u plzz..show me on youtube the problem ur facing so that it can be fixed because my touch is working fluidly without any problem so make a video and upload to youtube

bro...i must tell u that first try and then comment because its useless for posting and comment u dont know about so try it and let me know and many had tried it u must give a try nice rom and try my new rom as well ginger jelly nice rom with lot of tweaks and mods and thank me it dont cost nothingand i got a 2nd hand lgp690 i own it

Testers needed for camera

I've been asked by a number of people to bring my camera work to the G3. I'm in the final stages of it and have tested it myself on a VS985, but would like to have a couple more people with different variants give it a try. I only need a few people, and they should be very familiar with adb, logcat, and general troubleshooting in addition to being able to get back to me promptly. If you fit the bill and want to do so, get in touch via PM. Thanks!

I would have to assume that any camera app not explicitly included in a custom ROM will work in any ROM you choose to use.

Besides, currently the camera doesn't even work in CM, so why does it matter if this app works in CM?

There is a new update for Miui ROM for One Plus 3T which is based on Android N.
It is in very early stage of development and very buggy. So try it only if you are feeling adventurous.

I think it will always be based on chinese.. I also hope some developer beside chinese developers try to port the Global Rom.
