I have a backround in android(i own a motorola defy) and i know how to install roms on it

As soon as you turn WiFi on, it should prompt you to install Android 4.0.

[Q] Leaked 4.0.3 ICS Back to 3.2.1

I installed the leak after getting pissed about how long it took to get ics and how terrible honeycomb was. The leak has been incredible and made my tab sooth as butter... However I am afraid I won't get the official update which hopefully will be patched to include the ring.
How can I flash back to stock 3.2.1? I have I have looked all over and haven't seen a clear cut solution
Thx
if u r on hc bootloader all things bein equal then try a nand restore - worked for me.
if it doesnt or u on ics bootloader then its an EUU/manual apx downgrade procedure.
i've since flashed flexreaper, acer ring works perfect and so i'm sticking with it till the furore dies down and acer have their rom stable

UK Slider and any custom ROM

Hay,
About 3 weeks ago my Slider informed me of a software update that i very quickly applied expecting it to be the 4.0.3 ICS update that the US version has...but to my horror i found that it was the generic Transformer TF101 update... not good, as it broke my keyboard!!! When looking in About my Tablet it said it was a Transformer TF101 running Android 4.0.3 Firmware Version 9.2.1.21 - no big problem there but it also said No Mobile Dock connected and the keyboard did not work!!!!
Quick call to Asus, and they informed me that there was no update to ICS for the UK Slider yet and that it should not have been able to download the update. They also told me that to fix it, i would have to send the Slider to them to be re-flashed / replaced as it is not possible to downgrade from ICS to HC - shows how much they know lol!
After rooting and installing CWM i decided to take the plunge and flash a custom ICS rom that claimed to work on the Slider -Revolver 4 RC3 with the compatibly files, but still no dock connected or working keyboard, had the same problem with ADHD so i thought i would try Revolver 3 (HC) but this also failed to fix my dock problem. I gave up and re-flashed back to stock HC and all is good appart from the Slider informing me of the OTA update.
Many people have been saying that the Transformer update would work on the Slider along with many of the custom ROMS such as Revolver and ADHD (or install the compatibility pack and use any), i have tried many ROMS now including the official Slider UK update from the Asus site, that again is just the Transformer one that the Slider downloaded OTA and non of them work with the dock / keyboard.
Any UK Slider owners out there running a custom ROM with working dock, if so which ROM you using??

[Q] liberty tab

hi i am new to this site and all of the forums my name is Kevin i own a liberty tab which i am led to believe is an iconia in a different shell, after owning this now for nearly 2 years with no problems and the fact that i really do like this machine i have found out that there will be no ICS update from PB so will the update for the iconia work (no guaranty) and if it will how do i install the update as it is not an official from PB? my last question if where can i get a stock ROM for the liberty tab just in case it all goes wrong :fingers-crossed:

Go here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1816560 , download the EUU for 3.01. Put you tablet in APX mode (make sure your computer recognizes your tab as an APX device) and reflash. There are lots of posts that will tell you how to flash an EUU. Most important, make sure you have your CPUID. You will definately need it. Once you have reflashed stock 3.01, you can go to the market, update literlly about 4 or 5 times, and you will be back to stock 4.03 ICS, or lower if you choose to stop upgrading sooner.
Much easier to flash a custom ROM, especially since you already have the correct bootloader. Have youvtried re-flexx shellshock?
Thanks a lot for answering me and for the Re-flexx shellshock i don't even know what it is sry I am a newby in those stuff I will try what u said hope it works.
