I cleared my cache and dalvik but forgot to put the rom and kernel on my sd
When I hold down Vol-, insert battery and press power I get the green android but nothing happens after that. If I do the same with Vol+ I get the a screen with white text saying Bootloader 09.10 and asks me to insert a usb cable, then nothing. If I do Vol+ and Vol-, nothing happens it just stays at the google logo screen. How do I boot into CWM??
TIA

So, flashing SBF 2.2 CEE everything was correct until SBF lite said 'please turn phone on manually' and I try but.. nothing happens. on the screen I just have the android word with a white blink just looping.
I tried and tried (to be sure it wasn't the damn button) but nothing happens
What do you recommend? disconnect USB cable? disconnect battery? I don't wanna brick it!
Edit: I disconnected USB and Battery, turned on phone, entered recovery (power + volume down) until i got the android with the ! orange symbol. Then pressed volume up +volume down and on that menu wiped the cache and data. after that reboot phone and it worked
I was using cm10 2/11 for defy green lens.. I flashed indian froyo.. and it didn't boot up.. but when I connect to my comp it shows a white light... and gets detected in rsd lite.. so I flashed Chinese sbf .. den the phone was again black and not booting... not it is not getting detected on my comp but it is showing white led light.. plz help out...:crying:
Try this:
1. Pull out the phone battery
2. Put it back in the phone and press and hold volume down + power button and hold it for about 6-7 seconds, then release.
3. If a Robot logo appeared, you are lucky. Now press volume up + down at the same time, or press back button.
4. You should be in stock recovery now, touch Wipe data and then wipe cache. After that, press Reboot and the system should boot up
Also, a warning: I was flashing that chinese .sbf numerous times, and the result is bricked flashlight. So, flash it only when you need to!

I need some help guys, I cleared or wiped something I shouldn't of in the process of installing BDH Rom to the stock slot. My phone will not turn on at all, If i hold power and volume keys I get the red 'M' then the safestrap disabled screen but it won't let me choose the soft keys to 'continue' or go into 'recovery'. But my phone never turns on after that.
Any idea what I can do? I've tied holding just power which does nothing as well.
PLEASE HELP!

Go to that thread and download the full firmware XML.zip and flash it with RSD Lite 6.14.
That will return the device to stock condition and you can start over.
You must power on the phone holding both Vol keys and power and then use the vol down to scroll to AP Fastboot and then Vol Up to select it and the phone will restart with bootloader screen showing.
Now connect the cable and open RSD Lite and it should see the device.
Drag the XML.zip file onto the right pane and it will give you the option to decompress the archive and start flashing.
It will take a while to complete the flash and will then reboot into recovery and flash the radios and reboot again automatically.
This will wipe the userdata and cache partitions as well and will go through an initial setup and activation on first boot.

yea I tried that with no success, now its not even turning on. I plug it in thinking it has no battery and the green status light goes on and no charging screen. I try both volume buttons and power button, the status light goes off but nothing happens. I've tried holding the buttons anywhere from 10-45 seconds with no success. all the while even when I first was able to get to the safe strap screen the soft key buttons were unresponsive...
went to verizon and they couldn't figure it out (yes I know its not advisable) got a replacement in the mail today and sending the non-functioning one back.
That happened to me once. It just took me repeatedly pressing and holding the power and volume keys. Leave the charger alone for a bit. The phone boots up the battery status and safe strap when its off and hooked up to a power source. So try it a few times and be patient. I help the keys over 20 seconds.

Green light is an indicator of a very low battery, usually fixed by leaving it charging for a while...

I tried flashing the recovery and it works but when I try to boot into it, there is this android lying down with the front panel open with a red warning label. I can't do anything but to remove battery. Is this normal? Sorry if its a stupid question.
You're Sure that you flashed the right one, and youre using the right button Combo?
you can enter the Recovery by holding: Vol up, vol down and home then hold power and wait for phone to vibrate, if it vibrates then release Power and wait
if youre sure that both are right, try flashing the recovery a second time it seems to be a common problem, let me know if it works
best regards
I tried flashing the recovery again but all it does is do a factory reset on my phone. Also, the droid pops up again and I can't do anything except battery pull.
RESOLVED Did it the hard way
Hi. I was installing TWRP 3-0-2 from Xiaomi EU TWRP after Clean memory, system, cache, etc, reboot to Recovery but phone does not boot either in Recovery or Fastboot mode, only keeps vibrating repeatedly. Any solution?

try holding all the three keys then leave power button just after the vibration..!! if recovery doesn't start then pop out the battery, insert the battery again and turn on the phone holding volume down button, leave all the button then fastboot logo will come up. let me know if it works

Cannot access any mode. If I put battery on the phome and try to boot in any button combination, phone only vibrates, no logo, no soung, nothing more than continue vibrations every second.
