Repencis v3.5 Stuck at samsung logo - Galaxy Y GT-S5360 and Duos 6102 Q&A, Help & Troubl

I tried installing Repencis v3.5 and i've been doing it the right way. flashing to stock then installing this. followed all the directions perfectly. Why am i stuck at the samsung logo?! how to do this?

Same thing happened to me when i first installed repencis. First remove the battery, wait for 2-5 mins, reinsert it and go to download mode. Then flash the stock firmware.
Then for installing repencis go to cwm, and don't wipe data or cache! First install the rom. When it finishes, then do a data and cache wipe. It's different from the steps of installation of other roms.
Code:
System.out.println("Sent from my SGY");

im on repencis,, do this
wipe cache and data/sd card partition in default CWM.
then use CWM given by mr repencis, its "CWMbla..bla,,"
then wipe data and cache agian,
go to mount sys and data, mount those two,, its wrote like this "unmount data/unmount sys"
then install,,
wait after installation complete,,
then,,wipe again the data and cache,, then you may reboot,

[Q] Flashing ROM and Kernel question

So when I root my phone using this method: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=858996 (TRUE PermaRoot and the ULTIMATE S=Off) and then comes time to install the ROM and with that the Kernel... in this case: "MIUI 1.6.24 demonSPEED v1.1" it is recommended that I also update the kernel to "demonSPEED INSANITY v2.0"
So I wiped everything and then flashed the ROM and then shutdown the phone and then booted into recovery and then wiped everything and then flashed the kernel.
My question is: Did I do this correctly or should I have done something different.
Here is my hboot info after I rooted my phone:
GLACIER PVT SHIP S-OFF
HBOOT-0.85.2007
MICROP-0429
RADIO-26.03.02.26_M
eMMC-boot

Your results posted only show that your phone has root and s=off. When flashing a rom wipe everything (wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache partition, advanced then wipe dalvike cache, then flash rom. After flashing the rom wipe cache partition and dalvik cache again then install custom kernel. Eveything can be done in recovery.

I do understand that everything can be done in recovery.
I guess my question is that after I flashed the ROM (after wiping everything of course)... should I shutdown the phone and then start back into the recovery right away and then wipe everything and then flash the kernel or should I let the phone start up normally after the ROM wipe and then shutdown and reboot into recovery followed by wiping everything and then flashing the kernel?
Or can I do both (ROM and Kernel) like this:
1) Boot into recovery.
2) Wipe Everything
3) Flash ROM
4) While still in recovery wipe everything
6) Flash Kernel
7) Reboot.

It sounds to me that the problem is you're wiping "everything" before flashing the kernel. If you do a full data wipe, you're wiping the phone clean including the freshly flashed ROM. Try following this procedure: wipe everything, flash ROM, let it boot/reboot, wipe only cache and Dalvik-Cache, flash kernel, boot again, fix permissions, reboot. That's the standard procedure for flashing a custom kernel other than the kernel that comes with the ROM.

I actually haven't had a problem yet. Just wanted to make sure if what I did was the correct way to do things or not. Since there haven't been any problems and everything is working correctly so far, would you recommend that I reflash both the ROM and the kernel using the method you provided or should I just leave it be?
Thanks.

If you have the ROM and kernel you want loaded, and it's running smooth and stable, I would say leave it as is. Just refer to the steps I detailed the next time you flash a ROM followed by a third-party kernel.

You have the V8 unlocked bootloader installed, correct? If not, you'll need to have it installed first.
If so, and a recent CWM installed,
sequence should be;
a. Wipe data/factory reset
b. Wipe Cache
c. Wipe Dalvik
d. Format /system
e. Install JT

Great!! Thanks a lot!
Only step I had missed was format /system. I thought factory reset did just that, apparently I was wrong!
Thanks again. Loving my JB on A-501.
Just one issue, Google now voice search doesn't work.
And I noticed there is a phone app. So can I make a call??

CREED V4

Hello everyone. I like CREED V4 and tried installing final build but every time I end up with bootloops. Is this rom fail, or I am doing something wrong?
I followed this tutorial:
1. Flash stock DDLK2 rom as Xicor Yagami said in his thread
2. Boot into CWM recovery
3. Wipe data
4. Wipe cache
5. Wipe dalvik cache (just in case)
6. Wipe battery stats (just in case)
7. Flash CREED V4 rom
8. Reboot
If I am doing something wrong, tell me the right tutorial for installing
After flashing stock DDLK2,follow the steps:
1.Boot into CWM.
2.Under mounts and storage,format system,data and cache.
3.Go back and wipe data and cache.
4.Again go to mounts and storage and mount all the partitions (All should show unmount)
5.Install zip from zip sd card and choose Creed V4 rom file.
6.When the installation is completed,go back and wipe data, cache and dalvik cache.
7.Once done with above steps, reboot the phone!
This tutorial works for every rom.

everything I try goes to bootloop or blank screen

Hi All, I can flash a rom using RSD lite and then root using super one Click, then install 2nd init. I can access the custom recovery to install new roms. I do a factory reset/wipe cache, wipe dalvik and then install a rom. After install, I do a second wipe then reboot. Everything I try goes to a bootloop or does not work. When I am in a newer recovery, I wipe the /system folder too before installing a rom. and still no dice.
Any Ideas.

Use defy full wiper or aroma wiper to wipe everything and then flash. Then immediately reboot after flashing, no wipes required.

I tried the aroma wiper but still does not boot properly Thanks for the link though, I will try to use it more and see what if I can get something to stick.

[Q] Reincarnation not booting

I am using GT S5360. I have installed reincarnation pre final and it didn't passed the screen where samsung galaxy Y GTs5360 comes.
I followed the whole procedure but not working. Any help ???
Did you flash kernel?
Mount system?
Remember that naturalizer or touchwiz rom isn't for galaxy y
after you flash percys cm#2 kernel you must reboot to recovery and wipe system data and cache before you flash the rom
the steps are as follows
go into cwm
mount system
flash percys #2 kernel
reboot to recovery
format system data cache
mount system data cache
flash rom zip
format data
restart
if the rom still doesnt boot after that take out your sim card
if the rom now boots you need to change your baseband by flashing a different stock rom firmware via odin
I flashed the jellybean version... I have restored the backup now and i followed all the steps... I flashed the zip file of kernel, rebooted recovery, formatted system, data, cache and then installed the rom... But it stucks on bootscreen... Dosen't even show the bootanimation...
