Do any current ICS roms support wifi calling for the glacier? I've looked at several and I don't see any notes regarding this feature.
I have a MT4GS with ICS where wifi calling works great! I have also found several patches for other devices, except for the Glacier. Have i missed it?
Sorry for the dupe thread on this, I haven't kept up on this forum since i am not a primary user of a glacier. Just looking for some direction, which I hope doesn't mean going to a GB rom on this device.
Thanks in advance!

I tried this with the OFFICIAL MIUI.us v4 2.8.10 ROM and although the wifi calling gets enabled, I am unable to use wifi calling. When I try calling someone it just gets stuck on calling and I have to reboot the phone. Do I need to flash anything else besides that file?

Also I get random reboots and then it just keeps on in the boot sequence until I do a battery pull.

Hey, I am running CM7 Latest nightly am having (and have been) an issue where after a while the external speaker volume drastically decreases. Even if the volume says it is as high as it goes it still has low sound, ringtone and media.
I have DTAPPS2SD installed and was told once a long time ago that DTAPPS was the problem, however, if I go to MIUI I never see this issue (With DTAPPS flashed as well). Any help / ideas? Thanks.
PS: Let the bodies hit the floooooooooooooooooor!
The latest version of dtapps2sd causes sound diminishing problem. Try 2.7.5.2-1 version.

Thanks for the ideas guys. I am now noticing this issue on MIUI as well and can almost confirm that this issue is due to DTAPPS2SD. The way to fix is to just reboot and 4/5 times it will work. One question, if I downgrade to version 3 of DTAPPS will this possibly fix the issue? And what will I lose by using this older version? IE: more unstable? Thanks again.
Use 2.7.5.2-1 if you're not moving data to ext

Have you tried vegaics? I prefer it to vegacomb and honeyice.
The only major problems with ics are
Wifi problems after sleep, solved by installing wifi lock, or auto airplane from the market.
3G is not working at the moment but the developers are close to fixing it.
Occasional freezes and reboots, nothing to severe.

Hi all,
I have built the CM 10.2 or JB4.3 ROM from CM sources.
Everything else works well except for the GPS. NO MORE BOOTLOOP WHEN GPS IS TURNED ON.
Here are the things you should do to flash this ROM
.
1. Take a Nandroid backup of your current ROM.
2. Do a factory/data reset.
3. Flash the Rom.
4. Flash Gapps.
5. Reboot.

Go ahead and use this. I am using this ROM as a daily driver. Also, I keep building this ROM everyday to get new changes. I am trying to solve the GPS causing the reboot issue.
In the newer ROMs, I am able to prevent the reboot when you turn on the GPS, but the GPS is still not working. For anyone, not really using the GPS, this ROM should be good enough.

Hello Jejecule,
I have an issue with the latest Asylum Liquid Smooth rom (Asylum_LiquidSmooth_20141109_find5).
I switched providers today, and thus I put a new SIM card into my phone.
Now, after unlocking my phone it keeps telling me "com.android.system.ui" has stopped.
I know the problem is associated with the new SIM card, because it doesn't show the same message when I put in my old one or no SIM card at all.
I wiped System/Cache/Dalvik/Data (aka full wipe) multiple times, and reinstalled the OS a couple of times as well but no luck. 20141102 is also affected by the issue (haven't tried any other versions).
I'll be happy to grab some kind of log for you if you could point me to an explanation on how to do so.

Dear Vashiru,
It may be that your new operator is not registered in our vendor file. It may happen, we may need some more info to add this one. Could you test the following:
After full wipe try to install the last DU and test if working or the same.
If not working, try to install the last CM find5 nightly, from cm download site.
In any case provide me with results, I'll take care of it.
Note that I have to send my Find5 in repair, brocken USB port, but I'll keep dev for it.
Cheers mate

On it, downloading DU as we speak. The new operator is called Hi (Netherlands) which is a virtual provider running over the KPN network. The old one was Tele2 which goes uses the T-Mobile Netherlands' network. Also forgot to mention I noticed that after swapping SIM-cards a couple of times, I did notice it received a text message from my new provider that my number transportation had succeeded, so it seems to capable to connect to the provider's network. Anyways, I'll keep you posted.

Back with the test results
Dirty Unicorns (20141107): It gives 4 com.android.systemui crashes before showing the screen unlock. After unlocking the screen 3G turns on and seems to work. But as soon as you turn on the WiFi (thus putting 3G down) the crashes return and keep coming in an endless loop.
CM11 Nighty 20141117: Works like a charm, gives 3G access right after unlocking, no error messages. Turning WiFi on/off works as expected too.
Both roms were flashed using TWRP 2.8.0.1, wiping System, Cache, Data & Dalvik before flashing the rom.
If there's any more information you require, please let me know, I'd love to return to Asylum LS because of the many small tweaks I fell in love with.

Holandsnieuwe into?
No, that's a different carrier using the Vodafone network. My carrier is called Hi, which uses the KPN network. See the attached screenshots for the apn settings. They have a 4G apn as well, if you need the settings for that as well (other devices) let me know.

From your info (the one XML line) I did some searching into vendor files and the CM11 repository. Here are the 5 lines you need (from the CM11 repo) based on the APNs I see in the settings on my phone running CM11 (see attached screenshot).
Code:
<apn carrier="KPN" mcc="204" mnc="08" apn="internet" user="kpn" password="gprs" type="default,supl" />
<apn carrier="KPN" mcc="204" mnc="08" apn="portalmmm.nl" mmsc="http://mp.mobiel.kpn/mmsc" mmsproxy="10.10.100.20" mmsport="5080" type="default,supl,mms" />
<apn carrier="KPN MMS" mcc="204" mnc="08" apn="portalmmm.nl" proxy="10.10.100.20" port="5080" mmsc="http://mp.mobiel.kpn/mmsc" mmsproxy="10.10.100.20" mmsport="5080" type="mms" />
<apn carrier="KPN 4G LTE" mcc="204" mnc="08" apn="KPN4G.nl" mmsc="http://mp.mobiel.kpn/mmsc" mmsproxy="10.10.100.20" mmsport="5080" type="default,supl,mms" />
<apn carrier="MVNO NL" mcc="204" mnc="08" apn="internet.mvno.mobi" type="default,supl" mvno_match_data="204080950" mvno_type="imsi" />
apns-conf.xml - line 60 up until 64
As I said before, the 'Hi' carrier doesn't have it's own network, it uses the one of KPN, hence the KPN vendor.
I made a full back-up of my phone trough TWRP, so I'll be more than happy to test any new builds to see if they resolve the issue.
I sign up on this forum only to say great thanks for the rom.
It turned my find5 into a racing car!
Looking forward to check out L version.

Hello,
The new update is very nice. The performance is buttery smooth on stock.
Given the way that the three files must be manually flashed via fastboot, are there any confirmed working recoveries at the moment? If I could flash a gapps package, I would gladly use this as a daily driver.
