Hey
I am using my Motorola defy with Android 2.2.
But now i want to install a smooth and fast custom rom, because my defy is getting slow and particularly boring.
Which rom would you recommend ?
I think you developed Android 2.3 or even 4.0.
I am searching for something which works in all, so i mean ,, no bugs''!
So give me a prposal
Hi! I've been using CM7.2 RC1 since the release and I found no problems with it at all. It's smooth, battery life is great, performance also. I wouldn't recommend you CM9 builds for daily use since they are still buggy. Either CM7.1 or CM7.2 RC1 is good option.
+1 on CM7.2RC1 for best performance/options/less bugs
Also take a look at MIUI roms if you like the style...
I believe MS2Ginger from Walter is best rom till date. It has gingerbread and works for Green lense defy too.
What else you want?
I use CM9 nightly. No problems at all. Search for Epsylon's build ( froyo kernel). Battery life excelent, phone is superfast!

Using CM9 Nightly as well and have only small bugs/issues (e.g. video rec doesn't work yet and I get a bad preview on highest zoom stage with camera).
No Problems with CM7 at all.
Can we use multitasking mod on our Aurora ICS 3.1 like this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1621818

yes i use it... its one of the many features i love in aurora and cant live without it in my phone nowadays
What's the best ics rom for defy*?
What's the diference of AOSP, AOKP and CM9?
*With Red Lens.
Sorry for my English, I'm Brazilian
cm9 i use it, camera is buggy, but other things working good. the AOSP and AOKP is bulilt for cm9. sorry for my bed english i'm from hungary
Actually I'm using AOKP Milestone 5 beta 8 by Sesme and it's so good!
I am using CM9 Quarx 0522. Video playback is laggy, panorama doesn't work and there is partial implementation of HWA. But I like it very much!
I think that cm9 is more suitable for defy
I think cm9 is the best actually.
for me the best is the CM9 - 26/05 Epsylon + fix.
works fine!

I've been searching for the google for Huawei X5 U8800H firmware update to Andriod 2.3.5 Gingerbread. But seems U8800H doesn't have the Gingerbread. I can't find a .35 kernel for U8800H, so when I install Aurora ICS then I can't turn it on. Just keep looping on the "Ideos" that logo. So can any professional about this phone can give me a tutorial how to upgrade my U8800H to Aurora ICS?
Currently I'm using the Cyanogenmod 7.2 .32 kernel.
Glad professional can help me out ^_^

Hi
I need to record some videos for a project and I'm planning on using my x5. The quality is ok but I get some screen tearing in the video footage. I'm using Aurora V5 u20, there's any rom or way of recording video with the x5 with a decent image quality?
Many Thanks

use a gingerbread based ROM. We never had had a official ICS ROM, that's why those ICS were ported over. Or, probabbly you should try to limit background process to 1, force only 1 app to run (camera video) and have your phone running at overclocked more than 1GHZ. That might solve it.
In my experience, MIUI (Gingerbread) had the best camera quality. (Better than Aurora)
Cheers. Can you tell me which MIUI version you used? and .32 or .35?

Which Miui V4? Miui PT, base on Aurora... If I could install it on top of Aurora v5 u20 that would be great.
Yes Miui pt. You can install over aurora but make the wipes first, obviously

He wants to keep his data. He can wipe other things, other than data. Is that what you're saying?

I was talking about the base MIUI V4, and the best version is the 2.12.21.
I suggest you to use that and not mine!
