That's nice. That is still where they're stored. I use 4EXT touch recovery and that's where my backups all go.
The dev did this for ease of use. It makes switching back and forth between them fairly painless when all files are stored in the same place, don't you think?
Isn't it ironic? Don't you think?

Thanks I found it. That is kinda weird to put it there. I guess it's convenient if you ever switched to clockworkmod

Is there any higher recoverys I can download than 3.0.0.6?
Sent from my HTC Glacier using XDA App
No, just 3.0.0.6
My friend has an Incredible running 3.0.0.8, but I don't see any difference at all in it. The version number is probably only higher because of more bugfix releases.
No my friend has it and on Tom manager her can like make his own Tom's and alot of other cool stuff

What can 3.0.0.8 do that our 3.0.0.6 cannot? I sure can't see any difference.

If making ROMs were so easy you could include a feature in an app to develop them, xda would be dead and this conversation wouldn't exist.
specify. please.

That's a good way of putting it! Those were almost my thoughts exactly when I read that.
I just know he has the fasinate and it says in the download rom section something blackhole. I'm not to sure. And underneath it says design your own rom. I didn't think that's possible neither. Ill see him today ill check it out more and show you guys.

If I do a backup while on radio x and change to radio y, will there be any issues trying to restore nand of rom on radio x?
Sent from my HTC Glacier using XDA App
Radios aren't dependent on the rom. Go for it.

Measure Twice / Cut once.
Kimbo is correct, the radio will not be included in the Nanadroid backup. But it would be in your best interest to jot down the radio number in case you want to go back to it.

I've had my Mytouch 4G for awhile and flashed a lot of different roms. I make sure to do a factory reset through recovery before installing a new ROM. It seems like its getting slower though. I only have one widget on one of my home screens and when I look at the task manager it says most of my memory is being used but it only shows like two apps running. In addition I moved my apps to the SD Card but it still shows that almost half of my phone memory is being used. Any suggestions?

i would say, if you like HTC Sense & like to stick on to it, upgrade to Virtuous Unity v2.39
If you want a faster rom, try any AOSP roms like CynogenMod 7 or MIUI.
I'm sorry I meant to say 2.39

well, if you like to stick on to sense, do a complete wipe & reflash the rom.
Else, try CynogenMod or MIUI......
Is their a better way to wipe besides doing a factory reset through recovery?

Don't do a factory reset when you install a rom. Just do a complete wipe through recovery.
This is the reason why your phone getting slower.

With about 4/5 essential apps running all day, I get 400+ mb ram all the time.. is 114 normal for sense roms ? As I am using CM7/variations.
You haven't tried just rebooting to free up some RAM?

no... once a picture is deleted on a phone, it's delete permanently.
this is the same on any rom, any phone.

Yes you can recover your deleted pictures. Just use file recover software. Here is a link with some free ones you can try, or just google "SD card file recovery"

Sounds like Android needs a "secure delete" app that overwrites files via the Gutmann, DoD, or similar method.

Hey, not total noob but never something I had to think about or try.. I will be having to get a replacement for my n7 sadly since there's a weird screen discoloration (even while screen is off? :S) so what I'm wondering is, when a new one comes, can I do a nandroid of my current one, root my new one, and restore that nandroid onto the new one ? Or are there problems that arise? Thanks!
