My friend has an Incredible running 3.0.0.8, but I don't see any difference at all in it. The version number is probably only higher because of more bugfix releases.

If making ROMs were so easy you could include a feature in an app to develop them, xda would be dead and this conversation wouldn't exist.

That's a good way of putting it! Those were almost my thoughts exactly when I read that.
I just know he has the fasinate and it says in the download rom section something blackhole. I'm not to sure. And underneath it says design your own rom. I didn't think that's possible neither. Ill see him today ill check it out more and show you guys.

Well I don't see how a recommendation has been answered..since it is a matter of opinion. I prefer RoyalGinger 1.5. Smooth, fast and stable. When you open the thread for it, you will get complete installation instructions.

Well maybe he should word it different...WHATS YOUR FAVORITE GINGERBREAD ROM MARK? I did a search for that...nothing came up.
He shouldnt worry about best 2.3 rom, read his last question...how to install? You just need to read about rooting, roms, read and searching for answers. The best 2.3 rom is whatever u like..
Some peeps on here are just rude. Nah, but.. as far as personal opinion, Jaywan's Nexus S is better than Team Royals Royal Ginger. My personal preference i guess, but ive achieved the highest benchmark ive ever gotten from the Nexus S rom. 2459. These are practically the same roms but, Jaywans seems to benchmark higher. At least for me.

if its open sense that means its sense 3.0 and thats only for hdpi devices.

And you have to turn on the vibrate options bud.

I would go with cm7 and use the adw premium launcher.... It's super customizable but true to the aosp feel.

Royal Ginger was the ish when it came out. I remember still running that ROM last year when my first semester of college started, that was my DD for awhile.
