Didn't want to clog up the development thread so I'm posting this here.
I was wondering if anyone running cnote's 1.9.5 jelly bean rom is having any luck with wifi tethering or Bluetooth? I can't get get them to work, tethering just won't even turn on. Is anyone else having this problem?
I read through the posts to try and find a fix but no luck with a direct answer and I tried every other suggestion to fix it and no luck either.
I can try and give anyone more info if they want, but I'm a bit of a noob still.
Any suggestions or answers or should I just watched for to see if it gets updated with 1.9.6?
Thanks

I had this issue (bluetooth not working) in Dark Unicorn 2.5. Reflashing the rom solved it.
Tried it a couple times and still nothing, thanks though.

Okay so I remember reading somewhere that if you followed a certain tutorial to either root phone or get s-off. Can't remember which. But after you do it your wifi will be broken ie. hotspot will disconnect randomly. Well in that same tutorial they tell you how to fix it. I never bothered to fix it because I thought it was "connecting to a wifi" will be broken, not the actual hotspot (i never connect to a wifi) At first I just thought it was my phone acting up. But I think its cuz I never did the wifi fix. Can anyone tell me which post it was that tells you how to fix it? I did the s-off tutorial, then the ultimate s-off with CID, simunlock, root process iud that helps any. Any help is greatly appreciated.

My phone is rooted with s=off and my Wi-Fi works just fine. Doesn't disconnect. Hotspot/wi-fi calling works great.
Not sure why yours is having issues. I never did any Wi-Fi fix either.
Sounds like (not trying to offend here) that you aren't too familiar with how things work and sort of barreled into rooting your phone cuz maybe you thought it was/would be cool. Now you have things not working.
Rooting is/can be dangerous and lead to broken processes and bricked phones. That is why there are always disclosures with the guides. Rooting is a risk taken by us wanting to own our phones, but the guides are not for beginners (not implying that you are).
I suggest you unroot, flash back to stable and wait patiently.
AGAIN; no intention of insulting or hurting anyone's feelings.
Thanks but I'm very familiar with rooting. I know the risks and warnings. But since ur not having the same problem it could just be my phone. I could have read it in a different forum because I'm constantly reading forums in the vibrant, g2, droid, and evo. But everything else works perfectly just the wifi is spotty for me.

did you flash any of Gorilla's OC kernels? I know his earlier versions broke wi-fi
Rooted, S=Off, stock ROM, etc. and WiFi Hotspot is working just fine. Posting this reply while connected to it right now.

I am getting an error message when I am trying to make a call. The message says Error number 16, switch 597 or 599. I don't know what that means, and I can't place any calls!! What is going on?? This has happened before, and the customer service couldn't help because I have cyanogen 7.0.3 instead of stock, and it doesn't have the same settings. What is it and how can i fix this problem?? Please help as it is super frustrating not being able to use this stupid phone.
can anybody help? please?

Have you tried running the RUU completely back to stock? You can get it here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=971550. If that doesn't fix the issue you may have a real problem and probably should take to Sprint tech..aka get a new one
Just found this on Sprints website http://support.sprint.com/support/article/Get_assistance_with_an_Error_16_message/case-gz982789-20101105-084949
Hi everyone I need help, I am not a noon to flashing etc. However my camera and camcorder have suddenly stopped working, everytime I open either one it just freezes at a backscreen. I thought it would be a bug in a Rom so I switched but It's not working. Tried everything ...if anyone can help it would be appreciated

If you tried another rom with full wipe and the issue is occurring the next think to do is to flash an ruu file.

Fixed...for now...I switched to stock sense and it wasn't working, I turned my phone off for the night and when I woke up in the morning it was working. Will have to see if its working on other roms, thanx for the tips though

Have you concluded that the fix was leaving your phone off over night? I have the same issue and have tried a few different rom's none of which have fixed it. I was at the point of returning the phone to be repaired.
I guess I'm really asking, did you do anything else? Remove some software, try a specific rom?
It happened to my camera...but that might be due to the fact that the plastic cover in front of the lens has broken orf and the actual camera unit has taken quite a beating! Works now, I went for a run and when I came back it was perfect
Maybe the running jolted it back into position? Try the same thing xD
Could be that you need to go back to stock and make it like it came from the factory. I wonder if overclocking can damage the camera unit?
I just full wiped and went back on the stock rom, turned my phone off and woke up in the morning and the camera was working switched back to other roms and it was working on all of them.. Hopefullly this will work

if you have changed rom and the problem persists chances are it's hardware related. I have seen a dhd with similar problems, aswell as wifi problems and it was due to overheating. If you took out the battery it would work for a few hours but then it would do the same
Anyone still having any camera problems??

Im having this problem as well. Exactly like the OP. Not too keen on flashing back to stock rom however.
I did see someone mentioning problems with wifi in conjunction with the camera problem. I have this as well.
Anyone with a fix would be greatly appreciated
