You will get no sensible replies to your request.
You have given us nothing to go on. NAND/SD build? Have you deleted any system files/folders? Have you turned on silent mode?
There are just too many potential causes to try and diagnose your problem via this forum if you can't provide more detail than you have.
It will be quicker for you to just reflash whatever it is that you flashed in the first place and try again.
Alright pimping i reflashed it and nothing is happening and that should of fixed it. I just got this phone 15 days ago. I dont get it.

If you've tried different Android ROMs and then tried a WM6.5 ROM and it still doesn't work then it's a hardware issue. Flashing a ROM means that no software issue can carry over into the newly installed ROM, so it's not software.
If you bought it new then get it replaced/fixed under warranty (if not too old). If you bought it 2nd hand then I hope you've got either an understanding seller or a bit of cash to get it fixed.
The fact that it worked briefly, once, suggests a loose connection. One thing to check is whether or not you get audio when you use earphone/headphones. If you do then the ear piece is definitely knackered.
So I decided to root and install Bionix on my phone after the Kies 2.2 update pretty much destroyed my phone.
I've searched on the forum so far to no avail.... My GPS is far worse running the Bionix-V 1.2.1 rom... The rom is absolutely wonderful, but the GPS takes minutes to catch on, then when it finally does get signal, it either has me going in the wrong direction, or a street over or something... which doesn't help any.... but then after about a half hour it will finally work normally...
Does anyone have a fix for this as I sold my cars dashboard stupid garmin GPS cuz I had my awesome Google Nav... in which the GPS doesn't work... Yippeee... What a dumb mistake.
GPS really slow to fix on a signal on mine too. Sorry, I can't provide many details cuz i'm a noob.
try out,a,different modem. Personally I have, good results (gps) with jl5 and kb1 modems. Scrizz has a list of,them in,his, sig. Or check his, thread in,the development thread. On,a side note, I hate how the comma is placed next to the space bar in swype!

I recommend downloading SGS Tools from the Market and using that to get into LBSTestMode and deleting your GPS Data. If that doesn't work, flash a different modem.
I had the same problem you're describing. Deleting GPS Data cleared it up immediately.

My bad, come to think of it, it might have been pulled from the market. You can find the latest version here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=775154&page=37
I remember coming across an interesting thread about a month ago which provided instructions on how to physically modify the gps contacts on the circuit board so that it made a better contact with the gps antenna, thus improving the gps once and for all regardless which ROM you use. As one can expect, this is not for the faint of heart. Since I don't use my phone for its gps, I didn't have any reason to try the solution out. The only reason I remember it was because it was the first time I've read of a non-software solution for the gps issues that plague these phones.
If you were inclined to try it, I would imagine that you can locate the article easily by googleing it. If not, pm me and I'll see if I can find the article in my browsers history.

It's the link in my signature. Although if his GPS was working before flashing the new ROM it's most likely fixable without having to crack open his phone. You're right, it's not for the feint of heart, and sadly it appears to be a necessary thing for most SGS owners to undertake.
Oh my bad, didn't realize you already provided the link.
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
Well, I guess I technically did but I didn't mention it....plus it is kinda small in my signature. No worries
I have sgs tools installed already. I have the latest version. I hit gps fix but same results.
The gps on this phone has never worked correctly since i bought the phone in august.
What do you mean flash a new modem. Could u provide a newb guide.
Thank you guys, or if someone has another suggestion please list it.
Thanks!

Don't hit GPS Fix. Do this:
Secret Codes > GPS-Test and settings (LBSTestMode) > Delete GPS Data
You can flash a new modem the same way you flashed the ROM through ClockWork, but try deleting GPS data first. Personally, I prefer the KA7 or KB1 modem for GPS, but every device is different.

Thank you all for the quock replies it is ka5 which apparently sucks
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
TW put KA5 in the ROM because it's the best balance of battery life and reception. For GPS, yeah, it definitely sucks. In my experience, on my phone, JL5, KA7 and KB1 provide the best GPS Reception
Thank u for ur input KW. I just installed the kb1. Its a definate improvement but the gps still sucks. Only this phone has so many problems. Such a nice phone its so sad

Give it some time (a day or so). Don't be afraid to try out different modems. I keep pretty much every modem and ever kernel in folders on internal SD just to play with.
My GPS does not want to work to give me turn by turn directionss like it used to with the stock rom on it. I'm running cyanogenmod 7.0xxxx not exactly sure. Its done this withvall version of cyanogen 7 I have had upon it. Please help if you know a fix.

Didn't want to clog up the development thread so I'm posting this here.
I was wondering if anyone running cnote's 1.9.5 jelly bean rom is having any luck with wifi tethering or Bluetooth? I can't get get them to work, tethering just won't even turn on. Is anyone else having this problem?
I read through the posts to try and find a fix but no luck with a direct answer and I tried every other suggestion to fix it and no luck either.
I can try and give anyone more info if they want, but I'm a bit of a noob still.
Any suggestions or answers or should I just watched for to see if it gets updated with 1.9.6?
Thanks

I had this issue (bluetooth not working) in Dark Unicorn 2.5. Reflashing the rom solved it.
Tried it a couple times and still nothing, thanks though.

OK, Here is something just for you...
I'm just in doubt if you'd be able to apply it as you were not able to find it by yourself...
Xda is not a place for rudeness we are here to help each other before you get on your high horse and waste the effort of creating a patronising video of how to use google. This reason for my post is because this is a specific problem with the elk4 leak. If you read the other threads you would have seen others have tried agps and it still does not work. Hence my post.

1. Rudeness citation, please;
2. It is not a video it is a webpage based service created fot peoples who are unable to use search button in XDA forum or at Google, therefore, although I like your way of thinking, there is no high horse on the horizon, sorry. But... my concerns about your ability to use the patch are even bigger now, as you have thought it is a video created especially for you...
3. If you have specific problem, it would be better place for it, namely: Q&A, just below the general section of forum.
Last but not least: I have read ALL cited by me thread. No single comment about non working with your ROM, therefore, if you're giving such statement, provide link to the post, please.
You should have post this in Q&A section. Anyway I think it's kernel related just flash Siah kernel see if it's fix your problem but Siah kernel isn't fully compatible with this ROM yet so it will break your video recording.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
Well this would make it one. This particular firmware gps problem is not related to whatever patch does, therefore it is not solved by a patch. Now if someone has idea or solution.... Doubt it anyways, and since I'm depending heavily on navigation for my work, back to lj5 patiently waiting for jkay, till next leak and next round of testing.
Testing JKay alpha on GT-I9300
Just noticed gps problems today, is there a fix? I previously didnt wipe. But flashed again full wipe. Not tested yet.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
I can confirm that this worked for me today:
I had just installed Omega 33, and was trying to use GPS to navigate, but was not getting a good on my location (although I seemed to have a certain amount of accuracy to my position). I turned the GPS off and on again, and what little accuracy present went away and I never got the GPS lock.
I used the app known as "Fasterfix" from the play store. It needs root privileges in order for it to modify the "GPS.conf" file.
I live in India. Hence I chose my server as Asia-> India (it sets it to in.pool.ntp.org or something like that). There was no need to reboot. After this, I was successfully able to navigate without any problems.
Try it out and let me know whether it works.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
My problem was never getting a fast lock, it was holding onto it. When I would press navigate i would drive certain distance and would notice my position is few streets behind, then would get prompt gps lost, never to return. Turn off gps toggle, turn on later, aquire lock. Rinse and repeat.

You are saying the aGPS patch works, although from what I have read it's a completely unrelated problem, please show me it worked. If there is already a fix posted you should be straight linking it with a "please use the search next time" that's a helpful post.
And do you even know the problem, have you ever looked in the leaked firmware thread, I barely see you (checking the forums multiple times every day) and when I do see you your posts are rude, with absolutely no intelligence what so ever.
Did someone try to reflash the modem?
I can't try it right now, I will do it later and report.

Still, your heaven-reaching intelligence is unable to provide link to citation that this patch is not working? Well, ok, you may be busy learning how to distinguish between web page and video...
Finally, I have no time to look on the forum several times per day, as I have plenty other things to do, for example to drive somewhere using SGS3 as SatNav device, which is (comparing crappy chipset as SGS 1 with brilliant chip at SGS3) - just a pleasure.
Therefore, sorry but I will disappoint you in the future as well.
Finally, feel free to not test any patch, but to look on the video created especially for you in the web by someone special...

You are the one trying to prove something you should provide the link because obviously you know of a thread full of people who have had it work. You can't spout crap as facts then say its up to others to prove it.
