There is something fundamentally wrong with the legal system in Europe where the UK courts agree to allow the 7.7 to be sold and it is over-ruled by a German court which bans it throughout Europe. What do retailers in the UK do now, will they follow the UK or German Court? It is still being sold by Amazon UK.

Ok This topic is to list all countries where the Legend is already available or if somebody knows any ''programmed'' launch dates in other ones.
Also Why in the Asians and ME HTC websites the Legend is not listed at all?
Would this mean it will be late or not sold there??
Europe:
Netherlands: Available
Belgium: Available
UK and rest of Europe: 22-24 March
Asia:
Do you know any dates or price??
Middle East:

From experience, I've learned to not be concerned when an upcoming device is not listed on my region's HTC site.
No word about availability here in Hong Kong. But if it's anything like the release of the Diamond2 and Touch Pro2, they'll list the device on the site 2 days before it's available for sale at retail stores. This happened about a month after it's available over in Europe.
Btw, if you still feel bad that new devices aren't listed on your region's site yet, you should check out the products section of the Korean region of HTC's site. That's a sad selection there...
Poor Korea
The Hero is not listed in HTC ME website while it's available since October
So if I understand logically the Legend will not be available in Asian countries before ending April knowing it will be in Europe ending March
If only the Lebanese customs don't take 20% TAX on DHL and UPS I would have buy it from Belgium online
Legend is Available in Czech Republic.
The Legend is available in France now via expansys.fr
Norway today
I'm not sure how, but expansys.ie is saying that Legend is in stock:
http://www.expansys.ie/d.aspx?i=195942
I've checked in the morning and they had 100, now they have 39.
This is very strange, as Legend is available in UK on 29th of March
Hello,
In my country (Serbia) this phone will show up for maybe 2-3 months or later. I can't order online because importing is too complicated (radio frequency etc..blah blah..) so I would like to buy this phone somewhere in Hungary or Austria. I will go on trip for few days from 3 july. Can anyone tell me is there any store in Austria (can't read germany) like vodaphone shop or something to buy this phone. I will visit Austria and Hungary. If there any place please let me know.
I made contact to this website
http://www.zippzarmobile.hu/
and they told me for 20 days they will have it but I need before that because I will be on trip before that.
Why is importing difficult? Amazon.de has it already in stock, sells it for 484,97€ (the 8gb version) and it uses the same frequencies as everywhere else in Europe. They charge 6€ for shipping to non-EU european countries, which includes Serbia. If you have difficulties navigating the amazon.de page, use www .amazon.co.uk as a guide, they look the same.
To look for stores in Vienna, see: geizhals.at/a535151. html. currently, nobody has it in stock yet. I bought it last week at an A1 outlet, but they only have branded versions.
In Hungary, i have also seen some ads, like www .220volt.hu/Samsung+GT-i9000+Galaxy+S+8GB , but it is expensive, almost 100€ more than in Germany or Austria. This was the same with the HTC HD2 back in 2009. It was available in Budapest some weeks before in Vienna, I even went by the store, but it was way too expensive to not wait for one or two weeks longer.
So I would recommend to use amazon.de. They have very good customer service if the device should turn out to be faulty and ship very fast. If mail order is really not possible, check out the geizhals.at/ a535151.html page for Austrian shops: if any of them turns green, it means, that they have it in stock.
importing is very difficult because they are asking me for some document from radio regulatory agency + for new products you need to make some test in some special facility + will cost me like 400euros....for 2 phones.
Anyway I ordering online a lot ...but when you order something with radio frequency that is ....really hard.
I will consider this Hungary. Thank you!!!
I bought it with 381GBP at HandTec UK
I would say it depends on when you will be in Austria. At the moment the phone is just launching, so most stores handle their pre-orders first. Here in Germany more and more shops claim it "in stock" so things seem to relax. But for now I can't find a shop in Austria. Are you in Austria before or after July, 3rd?
Turns out the German court only has jurisdiction in Germany and cannot ban the Tab throughout the EU.
Can the German court bumble this any more than it already has? All my life I had Germany as the country that paid attention to details and precision. That image has certainly been shattered in the last few weeks!

Good to hear, although it doesn't really mean anything to me since I don't live there.
Hi,
Is it true there is no two year global warranty if I buy galaxy note outside UK (or Europe) now ???
Because I ordered note from negrielectronics and it was shipped from Hong Kong.
If it it true, I would sell and receive the other one which I ordered through UK website.
Thanks in advance.

In order to qualify for Samsung's global warranty two conditions must be met:
1) The device is purchased in its country of intended sale.
2) The device is purchased from an authorized Samsung retailer/reseller.
Should it need service, you'll have to ship it back to the UK. Once it's received, Samsung will ask for a receipt showing the purchase in the currency of the country of intended sale and/or a credit card receipt. They also know which serial numbers were dispatched to which resellers. They frown on grey market sales and are very strict about warranty claims on international devices. There are cases in the SGS2 forum where warranty service was denied because both 1 and 2 above weren't met. Many resellers claim the warranty is in effect but, unless both conditions above are met, it's simply not true. I did a lot of research on this before I bought my ISGS2 in May and it's the reason I just bought a 3G G-Tab from the UK.
does this cover anything more than dead on arrival kind of hardware problems?

It covers all manufacturers defects for two years. No matter where you buy it, a reputable seller should/would make good on DOA issues.
Just confirmed from German Samsung support. They didn't put in the antennas because "there's no mmWave in Germany at the moment".. But there's going to be later this year. Sigh
Probably not only the German ones - Korea also doesn't have them.
would go to buy anohter phone or first accuse Samsung for gone fraud

I wouldn't trust support honestly.
