Google Backups - Nexus 7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi everyone, quick question. I'm receiving a replacement Nexus 7 and I wanted to set it up without restoring from my Google backup, but I would like to have it synced with my Google account. Is there any way to delete the backup or backed up information so I can "start anew?"
Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Need a backup for calendar-server-client

Hallo together:
Can anybody help me with an backup (with Titanium Backup) of the packet that is necessary for communication between my Nexus 7 and the Google-Calendar-Server. I deleted it by mistake and now I can not use my calendar app anymore, because the app "aCalendar" don't identifies any Google accounts (
I use the Nexus 7, rooted, with the latest Android version.
Thx a lot

Deleted some Google calendar files. Now its not working

I updated cm 10.1 and I went into titanium backup and uninstalled the apps that come with it (Apollo, default browser) and it comes with another calendar app that I uninstalled because I use google calendar from the play store. I uninstalled some data thing as well which got rid of the calendar sync option when you go to your account in settings (where contact sync, currents sync etc. Is) so now my calendar is not syncing. What do I do besides factory reset??
I've tried reflashing the ROM and the 4.2.2 Gapps but it didn't fix the problem.
I went to system/apps and tapped on calendarprovider.apk and it tried to install calendar storage but the install keeps failing.
I've asked this many times but no one seems to know the answer so for another desperate plea,
Please help! This is becoming a big problem for me as I rely on my calendar almost everyday!

You kinda wrote the easiest solution there yourself... Factory reset.
Also, if messing with the calendar has given you problems before, why the hell would you do it again?
Sounds to me like you're doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different outcome.

I didn't do this before. And I can't afford to do a reset I just need a way of getting back all the files

Looking in my files on my phone with solid explorer k found these (look at pic) in the Titanium Backup folder in my Internal Memory directory.
I think I need to somehow install these files because they have to do with sync. Which is what I need.

The easiest way would just be to dirty flash your ROM & gapps again.
Dirty flash meaning don't wipe anything.
Just boot back into recovery. Flash cm and gapps again then reboot

This will put Apollo etc back but you can just remove them again.
Performing a factory reset will probably not solve your issue as I'm pretty sure that calendar storage is a system apk and a factory reset will not modify anything in the system

Can you link me to the 4.2.2 gaols?

Titanium Backup Pro - batch backup interrupted: insufficient storage space

Hi I rooted my n7 recently and bought TiBu. I haven't installed any Roms was going to after I backed up. Whenever I try to backup I get the message above. I have at least 18 gigs left so I know that space isn't a problem. I googled it and found out to set the backup folder location to /storage/emulated/legacy/TitaniumBackup. It was already set to this so I uninstalled and reinstalled TiBu. Didn't work also tried restarted my nexus with no success. Anyone know what to do? I'm using supersu I rooted with WugFresh toolkit all help is appreciated.

Backing Up And Restoring ???

Hi Guys i am going to buy a new device tomorrow and sell my nexus 4 i'd like to know what is the easiest way to backup all my data from this device and restore it to my new device ?...
Thanks !

Titanium backup should work, but don't restore any system apps. If you want pics, music etc copy then to your pc and copy then back to your new device

You can also use Helium Backup, it will backup everything including contacts and Apps
