I use the Nexus 7, rooted, with the latest Android version.

I have a 16 gig Nexus7 and am upgrading to a 32 gig.
What would be the best way to transfer everything over?
Thanks,
Chris

I suggest backing apps up with Titanium Backup and moving them via computer to your New nexus 7. You can move music/movies like that too
If you are rooted then use titanium backup, if not use adb backup

can you guys tell me how I can do a full backup with this phone without rooting it? im looking to do a backup like I can on my iphone and be able to restore everything from pics to apps to settings and messages, would prefer to be able to do it over a cloud with a email but its not mandatory.
im looking to do a backup in a sense where if I lose my device I can just get a new phone and be able to restore completely.
thanks

Kies 3 should provide a usable PC-oriented backup, also for some Google programs a backup can be done on Google servers and now there is a Samsung Cloud option.
That being said I believe none of the options above is as good as having a rooted device and Titanium Backup
You could try Helium.
I think the Samsung cloud option is the best way

so will samung cloud work as well as icloud does in terms of backing up and restoring A FULL BACKUP
I don't think it backs up the memory card

Use MyPhoneExplorer pc-app. You can backup pretty much everything. This + Kies, you cannot lose much

Helium also did the trick to me fine

Hi I rooted my n7 recently and bought TiBu. I haven't installed any Roms was going to after I backed up. Whenever I try to backup I get the message above. I have at least 18 gigs left so I know that space isn't a problem. I googled it and found out to set the backup folder location to /storage/emulated/legacy/TitaniumBackup. It was already set to this so I uninstalled and reinstalled TiBu. Didn't work also tried restarted my nexus with no success. Anyone know what to do? I'm using supersu I rooted with WugFresh toolkit all help is appreciated.

Titanium backup should work, but don't restore any system apps. If you want pics, music etc copy then to your pc and copy then back to your new device

You can also use Helium Backup, it will backup everything including contacts and Apps
