I'm wondering if there's a launcher that allows me to easily add shortcuts to the launch screen.I'd like the customization that the Liquid Smooth ROM offers without having to flash a new ROM.
I may end up doing that anyway at this point since my new Nexus will be on the way soon, but I'd like to work everything out before it gets here so I can just get it all ready.
Nobody knows? I would like also to change them.

I just bought a Nexus 7. It's gonna arrive In a week
But I already know, from a limited experience I had with android 4.0+ 7" tablets that I will hate the navbar when I want fullscreen. I just want to be able to easily (and if possible, for free) to hide the navbar when in games and browsing.
I'm planing to root, but will not be messing with any custom ROMs. Is there a way to somehow make the navbar hidden?
This is what I found on the play store:

Any good?

I use the paid version of full!screen.

In first days of Galaxy S4 on the net, and also in first shoots and reviews, I see wonderful menus, settings, dialer and so on with WHITE background (similar to pmlgro work).
But in shops and markets I saw only the old dark menus of Jelly Bean.
What's the truth? I desperately want the white interior (as seen), but where are they? Or are they fake ?
Thx in advance!

dark is the default.
and WHITE background is really not good for the AMOLED screen.
So all the photos and videos are fake?

Does it matter? It will kill the battery. If you really want it you'll have to edit it yourself.

Looking at this YouTube video of the Quad vs Octa Core processors:

Around the 4 minutes mark, you can see the white dialer on the Sprint variant S4. Maybe it's only included on certain US roms?

^ This. It was changed to be ugly for US Carriers.
So not a fake but only certain version. But in video i only see white dialer, other menu seems dark.
Maybe interesting locate the firmware with white setting, open it and extract framework and all other apk needed to do a white variant.........

Well If you can find the Sprint firmware, then you'll have your white things... but i'm not sure how hard it'd be to implement them into an international rom.

Living in portugal and the nexus 5 is ugly and the camera on g2 is way better , i just wanna know what you think is the best rom?
I'm very happy running stock.

I came from the Gnex and AOKP is my favorite rom.
You will be pleasantly surprised with the Stock Rom. It has tons of AOKP features that you're gonna like. And honestly, running a custom rom, you'd lose most of those awesome features.
Check out this thread which is all the cool hidden features of the Stock Rom.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2454340
It will really get you excited.
The AOKP guys are starting to build for the G2. They actually said they liked lots of the stock features of the G2 and will be porting over lots of stuff into AOKP. I would recommend just rooting, flashing TWRP, and flash some of the Stock Mods:
List of Recommended Mods:
Uncluttered Status Bar icons (LG has a status bar icon for EVERYTHING like NFC, GPS, Location, Signal, 3G/4G indicator, etc... this hides most icons)
Solid Black Nav Bar / Medium Size (replaces the Pink Nav bar theme with Solid black like AOSP. Medium size shrinks the bar so it isn't so thick)
Change DPI to 400 (just using texDroider from the Play Store so you can utilize that big screen)
You can also install Xposed and use their modules to tweak further. This is good for stuff like "Center Clock", Transparent Status/Nav bars on alternate launchers, etc. Not really useful but fun to play with if you want to achieve a specific look.
So I would stick with Stock + Mods for now until the AOKP/CM team gets some stability and more stock-like features. Also the QuickNote feature in the Notification Shade is freakin' awesome. I use it ALL THE TIME.
If your intention as you stated here was for a best ROM

There is no "best" ROM/Kernel, head over to the development section and see which "best" suits your needs.

Which is better for Note 3? What do you suggest?
I prefer to use Nova Launcher.
Inviato dal mio SM-N9005 utilizzando Tapatalk
I have both and have stayed with Nova ever since I tried it. They are both similar, but Nova offers better performance and I like the way it implements certain things, I guess it suits my way of thinking better. The latest implementation of "OK Google" is brilliant too.
As for which fits the note 3 better... I'd say both fit ir perfectly, but that performance benefit from Nova makes it an easy choice for me.

thank you guys.
i prefer to use nova prime also.

I am on Apex Pro, but I guess is more of a matter of personal taste with some random element.
If I remember correctly for me the extra boost was that on neither one I could use the Samsung Weather+Clock widget, but on Apex I had Fancy Widgets from the same developer and I liked that one.
They're pretty much identical.
I much prefer Apex.
Back around the initial release Nova had some issues with the Note 3, but that is no longer the case. It's just a matter of personal preference now.
Out of curiosity, as I haven't used apex for a long while... Does it support the ok Google question from the desktop as nova recently had?

I honestly don't know. That's the first thing I disabled when I got the phone... But I don't think it does.
I've just decided to try Nova again. But no, I prefer Apex. For one, if has a great many more Font options. (I like a light condensed one, Nova only has big fat and massive But that's the designer in me nitpicking.)
(So yes, I actually have both I also own Next, but mainly for showing off (to iSheep))

As of today's update, it does support OK Google hot word detection.
I develop Android apps and together with an UI/UX collegue decided to design a launcher for head units.
It will have similar functions as the existing one plus some we will disclose very soon.
The major objective for this laucher is to emulate stock interfaces look and feel so each use can select their make/model of car and the launcher colors, fonts and UI components will match the cars cluster and stock infotainment UI.
If you are interested in part in this project please fill up the survey we will post in a few days.
