I prefer portrait for most things, but like to use landscape on the homescreen when exiting a landscape app, so I will most likely use a launcher that supports rotation.
I just tried the Nova beta that supports JB, but on my Tab 2 7.0.
I'm starting to see why people are wanting the tablet UI back. I can only imagine it will be worse on N7 with the nav bar on the right side / notification bar at the top when in landscape.
What I would really like to see is a mod that will:
1) Resize the nav bar to 35dpi (47px) while keeping the notification bar 33px. This will give a usable screen of 800x1200 in portrait.
2) Move the nav bar and dock to the bottom of the screen in landscape (rather than keeping them on the right side of the screen). This would yield a usable screen size of 1280x720 (with the notification bar at the top).
For me, this would be the best mix of Tablet UI and Jellybean portrait only UI. So basically, the way ICS worked, but with the notifications moved to the top. And hopefully this can be done without editing the device DPI and causing all sorts of issues.

I'll be waiting until devs get their hands on their N7's and build a modified navbar in roms, perhaps like in ParanoidAndroid.
Using CM nightly (18th).
I have a pattern lock and removed the side widgets with Lockscreen Policy. Last thing to go would be the circular dots at the bottom that are part of the Google Now swipe.
On a separate note, is there a reason you can pull down the clock to expose a blank area underneath?
Sorry for poorly notated screenshot:

if u fill ur lock screen with widgets, u press that to bring up the unlock settings.
You could use an app like widgetlocker or go locker. They'd probably have the option to hide the google now circle.
I miss the simple ICS/ 4.1.2 lockscreen

WidgetLocker does one of two things. It either leaves the Home, Back, and Recents buttons there, or, if you enable root helper, it will replace those with the GNow Circle. No option for a black bar.

In hybrid settings, set the launcher's nav bar color and transparency to match the lock screen color n transparency. It takes some tweaking to get the right color but you'll find it soon enough.
I'm using #55000000 but you may need to tweak it a bit depending on your wallpaper
Or you could take a screenshot of your lock screen, find the color code for it using the color picker in Photoshop and then enter that value in the launchers nav bar color picker.

Not sure I'm seeing what you're seeing. The dotted circle is still in your screenshot.
Yea but its not within a black bar. The wallpaper extends to the bottom. And its just one possible way to mask it and make it look nice since I'm not too interested in getting rid of it completely anyway.

I was using a custom ROM to move the navigation buttons but last week a few ROMs added swipe Ribbons. Follow this link for a Nexus 10 screen shot with a right hand Ribbon including navigation controls (this is not my screen shot). Ribbons default to auto hide.
With the right custom ROM and swipe Ribbons I always have a full screen with an auto hide navigation bar and notifications. You can just swipe down with one finger to have the notifications display at any time. There are multiple kinds of Ribbons and they are fully configurable (content, position, colors, autohide delay ... etc).
Check in the Developers threads to see which ROMs are supporting swipe Ribbons. I use Buttered +Aroma, follow the link in my signature. I have seen some bugs but for the most part they work well and have already become part of my daily-driver configuration.
My own set up uses a right hand Ribbon for navigation contols and Sidebar for left hand app shortcuts. I had already purchased Sidebar before Ribbons were available.
My nav bar is burning into my screen, just like all the Razr Ms I saw in the Verizon store.
So, is there a way to make the nav bar transparent without removing it? I want to stay on the stock rom (but I am unlocked/rooted).
Thanks!

I know it's possible on CM based ROMs and AOKP has an autohide feature for the nav bar. However, I'm not sure on the stock ROM. You might want to check out Xposed Framework. It can be used to theme a stock ROM, without having to mess with .apk's or anything. I know that are a lot of customization modules out there for Xposed.
Somewhere in your System Settings, depending on what ROM you are using, you should find a setting called Navigation Bar. Click setting and there should be towards the bottom of the screen an option for Navigation Bar Transparency, Turn percentage down to zero. Also if you choose to use PIE Controls your Navigation Bar defaults to hidden and then when you toggle back to Navigation Bar or close PIE, your Navigation Bar appears.

Yeah, mine is very noticeable when playing a video or something where the buttons are not on the screen.
Man, the ones in the Verizon stores when I got mine in February had the circle widgets burned in really bad.
These burns don't even make sense. Old CRTs would burn because they're shooting electrons at the glass and if they sat long enough shooting and the same place they would literally burn into the glass. LEDs are just lights, I really want to know why it does this.

If I recall, this burn in is not really burn-in per say, but that the back-lights behind the pixels are burning and decaying at different rates. Since the buttons are always white, and the area around them always dimmed, the 'burn-in' is a lot more noticeable.

Enhanced Theme-Engine
Lock Screen Notifications
Kangs:
No sound, when you change the volume. (CM)
Volume buttons control media volume only. (CM)
Enhanced Power-Menu [Recovery, Downoad] (CM) #26

App-Ops: Ability to manage Network Access (Wi-Fi, Mobile Data) #3
Features, unlikely to be included (PA's Goals to stay near to Stock, Google CTS)
Multi-Window/Multi-Tasking #25
Auto kill on exit #26
Thank you +ParanoidAndroid** for your hard work
(** Links to Google+ removed due to Restrictions)
I can tell you one of those things is being worked on

App privacy is currently available by exposing Google's App Opps implementation.
We'll see if they release it themselves for 4.4
I'd like improved quiet hours: the ability to silence phone calls, set different times for weekends/weekdays, quiet hrs qs toggle and for important contacts/ two calls in a set time period to ring the phone loudly. Also I'd like the ability to have 4 qs toggles in a row. Other then that thanks so much for this wonderful rom and keep up the amazing work
I think per app auto rotation control will be a good addition to the hybrid engine.

It is under consideration, Hybrid 3 has been written to be easily extend. I think its a great feature and would use myself, however an app can override the system settings and this covers most use cases: video, e readers etc
I have seen CM has fixed the problem where going into Recent Apps sometimes shows you a minimizing animation of previously opened app, although the app isn't in app switcher.
Even the stock Android has that problem. I'd like to have that fix in PA also.

They were changed to work with PAC (per app color). The stock ones are opaque and the color feature looks nasty on them. The new ones are more transparent to work better with PAC. But yeah, I agree. They don't look the same. I'm sure with all the kk leaked images showing white icons, there gonna have a nice chance to remake them

My feature requests:
-Use Volume keys to move cursor r/l as in CM
-Battery charging light as in CM-
-In PA 3.99 or in PA 3+ generally, the QS Tiles are smaller or a part of the very top Quicksettings-Tiles-row is missing. That looks very strange! Please fix it so that it looks like in "original" Android so that you can see 4 rows of QS-Tiles when you switch to them, and not also the upper part of the Tiles in the fifth row!
Then I'd use this ROM as my daily ROM instead of CyanogenMod as HALO and the Hybrid Engine is so great!
