Baseband firmware???

Hi all,
I have a stock Tmo Vibrant, I hate touch wiz its ugly anyway I was reading about RyanZa's LagFix but I don't have my Vibrant rooted yet and I read the LagFix wont work on phones the JP3 firmware. My question is how do I figure out the baseband that I'm on??

if you are stock and non rooted then you are most definitely NOT on the jp3 firmware

Awesome then I guess ill have no problem rooting my phone and using lagfix. Sweet. One more question though are there any good roms out yet? Like I said I hate TouchWiz I would very much love to have full on sense on this bad boy also I heard It can be overclocked how can I do this? Can you point me in the right direction?

Its the I9000(Europe's Galaxy S) baseband...At first people were trying to flash these, as they have been available for about a month now, and basically found out that it was a major incopatibility(Phones were bricking left and right ). Now that the kernal source has been released, these new ROMs should start rolling out with the Vibrant baseband rather than the I9000

I have update the samsung i9000 phone with the 2.3.2 Rom bot the phone keeps on geting stuck can any one help

what was the previous firmware?
did you backup?
if you flashed the first time: by what guide did you flash?
have you tried to flash the same ROM again?
have you had a lagfix enabled?
where does the phone get stuck? (samsung logo, boot animation, the strange graphics bug)
Do you get into recovery?
If you answered these, it would make helping easier

i second this.

Hello mate the verison before was the 2.2 that was a rom that was fine then i used odin to flash the rom 2.3.2 gingerbread on to the phone i did not do a back up and i have not tried to flash the rom again it get stuck when you open a app and use the phone then its get stuck

The rom was a link from XDA i have lagfix voodoo toggle

I think downgrading to any other ROM such as Darky's 9.2 or 9.3 should work

Disable lagfix, flash one of the froyo roms and then try again

You had lagfix on = bad .
Flash stock rom via Odin .

Can anyone edit the title of the post? A lot of people are waiting for. 2.3.2 and this is very frustrating.

LG6/8 possible Wi-Fi fix

As has been reported, some of us have problems with Wi-Fi on LG6/8.
Found an application that seems to be working here so far.
'FXR WiFi fix and rescue' found on the Play Market.
As always do a CWM backup just incase
I am using stock LG8 with latest Siyah kernel 1.4beta.

What is LG6/8 .?

I believe flashing the new Siyah Kernel will fix the problem. What kind of problems are you guys having anyways?

Please Help

Hi everyone, Each time after i make a call or receive a call the signal on my atrix 4g goes off completely and I'll have to wait for a minute to get back my signal or reception. I was not facing this issue in the stock rom or cm7 at first. After a few days it first happened on CM7 stable rom, then tried CM10 22.08 build, still the same issue, just now tried nutrino rom 2.9 EE and i still have the same problem. Is this a baseband issue or a kernel issue? Please help.

I tried n.100R asia.retail as am from India, and i still have the same issue. Is it anything to do with the kernel?

Wifi tethering turns off after 2 secinds

Hi my wifi tethering is not really working i tried using 3rd party apps but i got some errors i have flashed my phone several times and re install rom but still not working i hope you guys can help me im just a newbie.. sorry for the dumb question

It would be better if you give us your Model and ROM Version number. Advise also if it is stock or custom.
