what was the previous firmware?
did you backup?
if you flashed the first time: by what guide did you flash?
have you tried to flash the same ROM again?
have you had a lagfix enabled?
where does the phone get stuck? (samsung logo, boot animation, the strange graphics bug)
Do you get into recovery?
If you answered these, it would make helping easier

2.3.2 Rom

The rom was a link from XDA i have lagfix voodoo toggle

I think downgrading to any other ROM such as Darky's 9.2 or 9.3 should work
Good luck flashing!
Nitro

Disable lagfix, flash one of the froyo roms and then try again

You had lagfix on = bad .
Flash stock rom via Odin .

Can anyone edit the title of the post? A lot of people are waiting for. 2.3.2 and this is very frustrating.
Thanks.

What is the latest non-beta 2.1 firmware?

I've been running JPH 2.2 for a while now and getting a bit frustrated with blackouts FCs etc. (Which is expected on beta firmware) so I want to go back to 2.1 and wait until official non-beta 2.2 arrives.
So, what IS the most recent, stable, non-beta, 2.1 stock European English firmware?
Thanks,
Mark.

It's xxJM1
Most stable BETA imho is JM8

Get it from samfirmware.com (jm1) and flash using odin. Howtos are there as well. Remember to remove any lagfixes.

Thanks guys!
I am now going to toss a coin to decide whether to downgrade to JM1 or JM8 (beta?)!!
I like the idea that people have said that JM8 + voodoo/lagfix is the best performance but a little devil on my shoulder is saying to try JPK!!! aarrgghhh.... I can't decide!
Now I am using my phone 100% (instead of playing with it and switching back to my old Nokia when SGS is gettting on my nerves) I need a FW/ROM that will work NOW, fun Froyo stuff can wait I suppose.

the kernel should be able to read ext4 natively and there is a alpha of voodoo avaible but the source code hasn't been released yet so you will have to wait some time for a broad range of custom kernels
2.3.2 gingerbread update
Not released as an update yet .
What you see is a leaked Beta not the finished job .

Using windows you can reflash figure Be 2.2
Or if u were in a cmw recovery enabled rom then I can provided you the update. Zip for fugu kernel.
If Odin works in Mac then you can just flash another kernel/rom

Yes it is kernel specific. But dont know if ur kernel version is supported or not.
U can always try fugmod 2.4 beta3 kernel which definately supports it and its also very stable kernel.

Mobile Odin by chainfire. :)

Chainfire released a new app. At android market which is based on the firmware flashing software by samsung named 'Odin' which we all use to upgrade our devices and flashing stock firmware.
this is a really good app. For people who don't have access to laptop or computers everytime or who are on the go all the time, just download a new firmware into internal SD and flash it.
Currently it has add on s for sgs2 and galaxy note on market.
I really hope an add on for sgs comes soon.
Check out that app. Guys.
Gr8 work from chainfire. Thank you cf.

Haha exactly the same here, haven't looked or considered another rom for ages, only even here because of ICS porting news! Still, mobile Odin is a major win!

Nope, not right now. You can buy this app. And make system dump file and give it to chainfire then he may add support for vibrant.

Not working for me
Really odd that i got none of my flashes to work.
Started with flashing stock JVT rom, booted ok, then installed mobile odin --> flash stock JVT as test, not able to boot...
Flashing by normal Odin works just fine with the same files.
Phone is european I9000
After every mobile odin flash i get only E3 recovery, nothing else
the best application of the year!
chainfire thank you very much!
you have my donation with the purchase of the app
