Anyone else have this issue. Reminds me of my nexus one.

I just received my Nexus 7, with it's touchscreen completely not working (not just dead zones but just completely unresponsive). Any else had this problem?
Nope, where did you buy it from?

Google Play!
Yep, I had the same issue ... was gutted.
Rma'd it straight away, replacement will be with me tomorrow.
Is anyone else having this issue with their Nexus 7 screens? These areas with green and blue lines appeared some time after I started using the device. Are they fixable? I noticed several threads about the devices screen but none with this same problem that I'm experiencing.
Attached: a close-up photo of the affected area on the screen.
I would return that sucker, pronto. Looks defective to me.

Hello
I have both a nexus 4 and a nexus 7 32gb wifi and notice that the screen on my nexus 7 is so much duller and not as bright as the nexus 4 even on full brightness.
Is there anything I can do to improve this?
Thanks
Anyone?
Well. I don't have anything to compare with really (like your Nexus 4) .. But on my 16gb, Wi-Fi Nexus 7, having full screen brightness is very good and clear. Dunno what could be wrong, if there's anything wrong.
They are different displays made by different companies. I would be surprised if they looked the same.

Hey,
I seem to have an odd issue with my Nexus 7 (2013). The touch screen is perfect as long as I am holding the unit. The second I put it on a flat surface the screen becomes very unresponsive in certain areas. To make it more complicated if I plug it in I can type when its on a surface no problems.
Has anyone else encountered this?
