how do i put on my HD2 so when i click on an app it makes a noise or sound
its running NEXUSHD2 4.0.4 if that helps
press Menu -> Settings -> Sound and tick "Touch sounds". Everytime you click on an app or an option a sound will be heard.
Be sure to write a better tittle for your question next time you open a thread btw.
I did that but still nothing /: and yeah thanks that was my first thread

Set your volume on maximum level, these sounds are pretty quiet

Hi guys.
Very annoying little problem here. I do not have a shutter sound when I take pictures, no matter what the settings are. Any ideas? Maybe I am missing something.
Thanks a lot.
You've probably got the System Volume set at zero in Settings > Sound and Display.
It controls general feedback sounds like the camera sound and the keyboard sound.
Does that help?

Thanks it does. But now I have that annoying click when i touch some icons, etc. Anyway, maybe I am asking for too much from this phone. Thanks again man.
Yeah I hate that sound too.
Turn it off menu where you found the System Volume by unchecking Audible Selection a bit further down.

Great, you saved my ears.
not sure if this device specific but on my htc incredible in the options i had the ability to have set the notification volume based on the ringtone volume.
on this phone, they're 2 independent settings.
anyone know if theres a way around that?
i just looked and didnt see a way to do it... i had a droid1, dx, and d2 and where i would normally be able to change it (settings > sounds and display > phone ringtone) its just not there... there should be a checkbox to "unlink" phone ringtone and notification volume...
if its somewhere else, please inform
I downloaded an app called "Quick Settings" (really slick apps that gives you acess to a lot of settings all in one place) and it has a check box under it's volume control menu to "Use Ringer volume for Notifications".
Hope this helps!
I like that, thank you! It needs a widget, though.

i have been wondering the same thing. I had quick settings on my Incredible, don't know why i didn't think to download that.
Thanks.
I remember seeing that feature on my Eris after installing the KaosFroyo ROM. I think it's a new feature in Froyo, so we'll probably see it with our Froyo upgrade as well.

Not a widget but there is a setting to put in the (already too crowded) status bar/ pull down.
Well I'm having a few issues;
Can't change the default alarm tones. When searching the only option I get is silent. Default 150 kills my ears in the morning.
I'm not gettingg anywhere near as stable overclocking. Low 700's seems to be the best I can get.
Any help apprecciated

You can change in:
Settings > CyanogenMod settings > Sound > Attenuation of set volume > Alarms

Its called haptic feedback and its there for a reason but if u want to remove it just go into ur settings -> sound&vibration (or something like that, it could be different, depends what ROM ur using) then you should see "haptic feedback"...just disable it

As the topic stated, I usually work the night shift and I don't want to "wake" the world up. Is there anyway to disable the "clicking" sounds from texts and whatnot? Thanks in advance.
