[Q] Stock 2.1 for Fascinate? (Im New)

Hi guys im new to the forums. Im wondering if theres a fully working STOCK 2.1 Rom for my Samsung Fascinate?
Also If there is one can I revert back to stock so I can get the official 2.2 If I need to?

Don't mean to be rude here, Sherwood, but did you take any time to look at the other topics, before you posted this one?

Yeah I did but none look fully stock....they all seem to add a few things to "sweeten the rom". I just want stock.

Incase I wasnt clear I meant stock Android 2.1..........not Touchwiz stock 2.1. Touchwiz is sooooooooooo slow and crappy!!
I installed launcherpro with the widgets. But it kills me knowing touchwiz is still running.

Stock, is what comes with the phone... why do anything, if you want stock?
Now if your talking about AOSP (Just plain google rom) then NO. There is no AOSP rom, as of right now. There are a few people working on it though.
Check the irc chat room (#samsung-fascinate) on freenode, for more information.

[Q] MIUI Question

Hello,
I want to install a MIUI Rom and before I do it, i have a couple questions:
1) If I do evil's MIUI Rom or the QnD I seen on his site, I just wipe the phone, nanbackup, then flash the new rom? I'm coming from Ice Glacier 1.1.6 themed with gorilla OC kernal.
A) Do I need a different kernal?
B) Do I need do setup ext4 on my sdcard?
2) Any suggestions which MIUI is the best?

i suggest the RoyalMIUI because it is the latest release. (it is updated compared to evil's)
NOTE: Questions do not go in the development section

Tips about installing TW4 on JVB

Hello guys, I have a SGS on 2.2.1 Froyo Ufficial update, with lagfix, root and modded SpeedMod kernel.
I would like to know how I should proceed with the installation of the rom, and after that the installation of the TouchWiz 4.0. If you can help me, I'll be very grateful.
Do I have to remove lagfix or something else?
EDIT: I know all the flashing stuff, just need to know about bootloaders etc. I'm on JPY stock.

You should be asking this in the Q&A section and not in this DEV section and please do search the forum thoroughly before asking such questions. If you bothered to read, you would found all that you ever needed!! Cheers mate

i was wondering who else has android 2.3.4 on there x play i cant find any other roms and was wondering if anyone knows off any custom roms i can get etc cheers ion advance

If you have the CM7 beta, you'll have 2.3.4. You need to haveva phonebwith unlocked bootloaders thougj.

I believe cm7 is 2.3.4 but I thought 2.3.4 only brought voice in google talk and there is a mod available to bring that to 2.3.3. Not sure though.

yh i have unlocked bootloader etc but i have downloaded rom manager after installing cm7 but the camera doesnt work on the cm7.1 at the moment i want to no how is yours running and are you able to use rom manager ok ????

Stock Froyo from CM

Dear All,
I am running now stock Froyo and thinking of using CM7.2. If i installed CM7.2, will i still be able to downgrade to stock Froyo if I don't like CM?
