Best dialer&contacts app? - Hero, G2 Touch General

Hi guys, I'm using SHPONGLE v3.5 ROM, and I really like it, very fast and fluid. The only problem is that there is no T9 dialing in the dialer app. Im just curious what dialer are you using insted of the stock dialer. I really miss the T9 dialing feature. Thanks!

I recommend Dialer One which I am using.

Youlu.
IMHO, its the best looking contacts/dialer/messaging app out there.

Youlu kicks Dialer One's butt imo.

Youlu doesn't work on my desire. dialer one is good but slow. Htc Sense dialer is still the best.

Youlu is very pretty, however in my brief use (before uninstalling) it asked me to sign up to its own servers as opposed to syncing solely with Googles, and it accessed and sync'ed all of my Google contacts as opposed to those in "My Contacts" (so basically everyone who has ever emailed or SMS'ed me!).
I'd love a Youlu interface on top of DialerOne functionality.

Can you explain a little more? What are you looking for it to have?

Well at the bottom of the homescreen there is like a taskbar that has four apps . Gtalk, dialer, browser ,and email. I want to personalize the apps to stuff that I use more. Like market, sms, etc.

To change the bottom dock you can download a different launcher from the market. I'd recommended Launcher Pro, or ADW. I personally recommend Launcher Pro. You can customize the homescreens and the dock itself.
Hey thanks, launcher pro did the trick! I wanted the 3d app drawer so that worked out very well!!

I'm using SwiftKey. The best one for me.
I use Swype and love it. it's easy to use the options to correct your word if it's wrong are the best I've found, they have multiple colored keyboards for your preference. The Swype option takes some getting used to but I can't imagine typing with two hands, and it's way faster. Just my two cents

Changing TW dial pad sound to stock android

Hi guys. I have never liked the sound the dial pad makes on samsung phones, so I was wondering if it would be possible to change the TW dial pad sound for stock android retro dial pad sound? Thanks.
Anyone?
Hmmm..no response. I thought it would be as simple as finding the sound in system ui etc, and swapping it for the stock android one?
Come on guys, someone must know if it's possible, and how to do it if it is?
Have looked for the same or to put at least regular tones instead of the bubbles but have not found anything

Could someone with a google edition S4 post their UI folder please?

AOSP dialer

So, when u had my note 2 I was on Liquid smooth and PAC ROM. The dialer was awesome I would type in the name of business, place, or person and it would display that number even if I didn't have it in my contacts. Does anyone know how to do this on a rooted stock S5? Maybe the ROM this may be running?
Google should have your answer
