So, i use my kindle to listen to some online streams in the mornings, recently in the last build of Gede's rom and in eye candy i can no long listen to the streams, they startup perfect like they are running but no audio comes out. Audio works in everything else.. This is in dolphin/firefox/built in browser..
Mainly its the o&a stream at yourmuze.fm.. The only thing i see in common in those new builds is the beats audio crapola.. (anyone else think its just hype/marketing bs? ) anyway to remove beats to find out if thats the issue?

Yourmuze.FM doesn't work with the SGT7 rom either.

Thanks, you know if that rom is using "beats" audio?

Are a2dp controls supposed to work in the music player? I could have SWORN they used to work... but something I did made it so they're not working now...
I'm using cyan's newest ROM btw...
anyone ever run into this?
I'm still on CM 5.0.4.1. Never had an issue with AVRCP.
Cheers,
Kermee
no one has any idea? I guess my only option is to do a wipe and install clean and rehack all my stuff ... will take forever but I guess if that's the only option...
Okay well I found the problem.... Tune WIKI was h4x0ring my a2dp controls... uninstalled and it's back to normal now.

Ah. Good to know. -- Weird bug though. Not sure how TuneWiki would affect AVRCP.

What do people use? What is easiest?
Free or not?
I loveD slacker, but the past week has been horrible (Hardly ever connects, does not skip to next track, freezes up while buffering)!!!! so i been scrambling for music ideas to stream while i drive....
Don't post if you are going to say load you storage card with music lol
Is WUNDER Radio still as good as people said it was? I hear mixed things a lot!
I downloaded Mundu radio and its ok but the buttons and display are messed up.... it just plays shoutcast from what I see
Something fast, convenient like slacker would be great, Pandora app sucks (quality) --
Don't mind paying but would prefer a one time fee and not a subscription..
any thoughts?
anyone having issues with slacker radio?
i put music on memory card but like to be surprised with variety...

Is there an app like Tune In Radio on Android?
http://www.appbrain.com/app/tunein-radio/tunein.player
I am trying to connect my old Touch Pro 2 up to some computer speakers and just use it as an internet radio at my desk. Does anyone know a good WM app for that?

SPBradio, coreplayer streams too but you have to go threw a little trouble to set it up but SPB radio is your best bet
pandora
pandora is a fantastic music device..and thanks to all the awesome developers at xda we are able to have it...here it should be if i did it right.but if i didnt just search for pandora on the site.
+1 Pandora
I second Pandora radio. It is great! I use it pretty much everywhere, on my Tilt2, ipod touch, on work and home computers, blue ray player. Now if I could somehow get it on my car stereo!
Its got a couple limits, like only being able to listen for 40 hours a month (which you can use more if you purchase), but I've only reached that limit twice in the 8 months I've been using it, just remember to pause when not listening .

Pandora is Good , I even upgraded and got PANDORA one, then i found Slacker Radio and now use it more and upograded to Slacker Pro very very nice and you can make your stations or choose from many others.
Ahhhhhh! So we finally have it! Froyo! Problem though - Flash seems to have an embedded flaw. When I attempt to stream simple flash radio stations from the browser I get what sounds like an Ozzy Osbourne record being played backwards. The audio playback is in SLOOOOWWW motion. I wish I could just hit up Tune-In or IHeartRadio but they won't pick up my local favorite - KSMT the mountain. It appears that his issue is nothing new with many Droiders - but I have yet to find a sound solution. Anyone have a thought or perhaps a solution? Gracious in advance. Epic 4G with leaked OTA Android 2.1 update
flask??...well iv also had a few hiccups using F.L.A.S.H. on my celly but that is to be expected seeing how it is still pretty new to mobile devices my friend
Anyone know of a rom or music player that finally takes full advantage of the ESS dac? I know the LG Music Player plays Hi Rez files correctly but plays 16/44.1 tracks as 16/48. Anyone know of something that plays everything correctly through the ESS?
Use DAC fix from the market if u have problems on aosp otherwise it works on stock ROMs

Think he's talking about that other thread that supposedly found out that the DAC is capable of up to 192kz or whatever the measurement is and there is no way to play a 192 file through Android as it always down samples to 96.
Basically there is no way to take complete full advantage of the DAC because of limitations.
