The TPT method does NOT unlock or increase your ram. It only changes partition sizes.

do not try tpt for idea blade , no tpt yet.
Yet some guy mentioned one TPT details of his chinese blade but didn't provide the steps to proceed for TPT on Modaco. Also it may brick the device too
However I have managed to increase the RAM size with Swap partition app. I am now able to play big games like Angry birds space, NFS Shift and many more without force closing and without a lag

I am using latest build of mokee os based on CM7.

Y U NO helpfull?!?!?!
Use this to unlock your 512mb ram (Greek Blades only) - http://amphoras.co.uk/index.php/downloads/blade-tpts#g2v2a
Read the instructions on the page.

It wont make any difference to speed at all. You can choose from either Gen2 v2a, or Gen2 stock, none of the others will work for you. Either version will unlock the 512mb ram. The only difference is how the storage space is partitioned.
You want the gen2 v2a version for CyanogenMod 7, or the gen2 stock version if you ever want to install CyanogenMod 9.
They will wipe your phone. You should backup in clockworkmod first & then restore from clockworkmod afterwards. There is a small risk of bricking your phone, especially if you do it wrong, so read all the instructions.
System is where the rom is, if it's smaller than the rom that you want to use then it wont work. Data is where your apps & their saved data are.
Cache is only used for market downloads, most custom roms will redirect that to somewhere else, so you don't need much cache because it never gets used.
If you use the v2a version you'll have more room to install apps, but CyanogenMod 9 & other ICS roms won't work, because they're too big for the small system size.
If you go for the stock gen2 then you'll have the same space available for apps as you do now. Apps2Ext is a better way to get more room to install apps, download Simple2Ext from Google Play to get it working on CyanogenMod 7.
This is all assuming your Greek Blade was sold to you with Android 2.2. If it was sold to you second hand with CyanogenMod 7 installed, then it's likely that somebody else has already done it & you don't need to because you already have 512mb ram unlocked. If the Gen2 TPTs from Amphoras' page don't do anything, then it's almost certainly already been done.
Make sure that you really don't have over 256mb, download 'Android System Info', look under RAM, at the Max, if it's about 420MB, then you don't need to do anything, you've already got 512mb ram enabled.
wow wbaw....that was really helpfull...so i have gen2 ,not the 512 ram...
now...if i follow the guide and unlock more space...i will have to first backup cyanogen7 with clockwork and after i unlock the memory,i restore again through clockwork, and ill have 512 AND cyanogen7?
Also if i want to install cm9 which one you suggest?
i know it is personal choise which rom to install but i need a starting point

Nearly all blades can remain stable at 710 MHz. However some, (like mine and karthiknr's) are stable at 748 too.
Ans while testing, DO NOT CHECK THE SET ON BOOT options

Can other members confirm the amount of RAM detected by JB 4.1.1 on their P3113? As far as I remember it only showed 770 MB of RAM. However, last night the table became very laggy and I had to manually reboot it (hold down the power button for 10 seconds) and after booting up I notice the RAM shows now 775 MB.
Can someone confirm the total RAM on the STOCK 4.1.1 showed in the task manager mini app??
Thanks in advance.

Different ROMs use a different amount of RAM and the OS has temporary buffers in there, so the number is really not important.

Can you try installing an app called SCOL Free fron the play store? It is the only app I recall installing. I tried to change some values and it was when the tablet froze and I had to reboot it.
Just FYI the tablet feels a bit snappier.

A friend of mine has a Defy Mini which is causing her all sorts of problems due to software glitches etc. I offered to take a look at it and see what I can do. I looked at the rooting process and it seems simple enough to downgrade the bootloader, get fastboot, and flash a recovery.
My question is though, can I install a custom ROM like CM on it? I don't see any ROMs for the Mini, just the original Defy. Can I just flash a port of CM7 for the big Defy to the Defy Mini once it's rooted?
Is Defy mini hdpi?
If its not its a tough job to port
I Googled for a custom rom for this device and seems there are none
Sent from my MB526 using xda premium
Defy and Defy Mini has too much difference HW, none are the same as far as I know.
So no easy port. You will need to develope the rom from start (that sound hard I'm no dev.)
And as nogoodusername said, noone interested to do it yet.
Thought not. I'll help my friend get a replacement device then. Thanks.
How hard would it be to port a ROM from some other ARMV7 hvga device, like htc explorer?
i have rooted motorola defy mini XT321 dual sim (indian version ) so if any one know about custom rom please help me i want to new look of defy mini

Till there are available some rom's you can tweak your stock rom with generic mods like:

it seams you can't do much (any) tweaking with the stock rom even if it's rooted. can't move apps to SD, can't uninstall system apps (that take up almost all internal storage), can't use scripts, does not recognize the ext2 partition... and so on..
errrm...You can move aps to sd via m2sd or a2sd or with native.
All system apps and bloatware can be removed.
Can use scripts.

We can't port Razr D1 rom because it's completely different phone - 1GB vs 512MB ram, Qualcomm and so on. It's completely different phone with different CPU, GPU & RAM.

Hey.
I have a LG L7 P700 ( Android 4.1.2) and i have two doubts.
The phone only have 512MB of RAM memory.
So:
1- How many memory we trully use?
2- I have an app called swapper and is supposed to increase the RAM Memory... i put 250Mb more (i saw a video on youtube..) and i want to know if is true? x)
Thanks.
