Mango 7720 error

I ve been able to update all the way to 7712 want to get to 7720 when I run the provision tool or RCToRTM i get the following error message any help please.

UpdateWP version 4.7.1404
Error: The installed version of the tool (4.7.1404) needs to be updated to match the Zune version (4.8.2345). Please install the tool version 4.8.2345.

In order for this to work, your "Windows Phone Engineering Flashing Tool" version needs to match your Zune version exactly. It appears you are using the new Official Zune 4.8.2345.
When I performed this update I used a Flashing Tool version 4.8.2134, and I had a beta Zune that was also 4.8.2134. I would uninstall both programs and in the RCToRTM file their should be a Zune Beta and Flashing Tool installer. Install both of these and go to the ADD/REMOVE programs and verify that the versions match. If needed right-click on the ADD/REMOVE programs header and highlight the "Version" column if its not already viewable.

fixed that on to 7712 booted up red windows loding with dots now stuck with black screen with batt icon and time and the zune is at 9 0f 9...is this part of the 7712 update process??

Try taking out your sdcard and doing a hard reset

can i do that i wont brick or would i have to start over the 7712 update process..
becuase zune is a 9 of 9 completing updates still and the phone booted with black screen with batt icon an time.. i it safe or do u know for sure thats not a process in updating sorry ofr all the questions just want to be sure..thanks

[q] tool version dosent match !!! Hd2

hi all
tried to find answer myself but couldnt find anything related my problem is ive flashed the new xboxmod + yuki wp7 rom (7004) done every thing to letter it gets two updates from zune to (7392) then i tried to send cab files and it fails with this massage " installed version of zunewmdu <4.8.2345.0> dosent match tool version <4.8.2134.0>
now zune tries to update to mango beta 7403 and fails with error code 80180005
any help would be great plus im not a developer i just eat what the chefs here provide so i not sure what u need to know from me plus if this has been solved elsewhere sorry and pls point me to it

in the cab sender, there should be 3 folders, one of them says if needed, install this tool. try installing that (there is 1 32bit and 1 64bit so just install the one for your system). also make sure the cab sender app stays in the same folder as those 3 folders. so in the WP7 Cab sender folder (or whatever the main folder is called)you have:
FOLDER: if needed install this tool
FOLDER: logs
FOLDER: tools
and the WP7 Update Cab Sender.bat file

and y does it want to update me to 7403 isnt it supossed to update to 7220 first as zune already updated me to 7392 ????

thought id cracked it tried to install mango rtm cabs and this come back if this is any help

[Q] pdaimatejam rom v7.8

hi,
im using padaimatejam v7.8. i went to his website and download xboxmod_taskbar cabs. but it said window doesn't support this type of file.
any help greatly appreciate !

the built-in deploying capability only supports .xap files. to install .cab files you need to use the cab-sender tool and send the .cab's via pc to your phone (like all other updates, too..)

i tried cab sender and tried to install the xboxmod_skin_cab . ..... this is what i got

maybe pdaimatejam's rom doesn't accept unsigned cabs or cabs with signatures by other developers. not all rom's have capability for xbmod signed cabs.

[Q] Update Unsuccessful When Using CAB Sender

I have attempted to install the 8862 Update via CAB sender on Yuki's ROM and Dynamics 8852 and after installing the update the script shows "Restarting Phone" and the HD2 boots into WP7 and says that the update was failed, I have seen a few sucess stories on this, what could be the problem? (Windows 7 x64, HD2 Dynamics ROM, any other info you need just ask!)
