hi guys I've a really great problem..
I've a nexus 7 and last week, while charging normally,is gone in APX MODE. so i decided to call the asus and send it in assistance.
the problem was fixed and the tablet worked normally. today, after only 3 day of normal work, the tab is in APX again!! c
so my question is , ther's a guide ,I've read about a nvflash guide,to reestore it without call te assistance again and wait weeks? thank you (and sorry form my bad english!)
All N7 tablets will go into APX mode if it is started with both Vol-Up & Power pressed together.
Maybe your Vol-Up button is stuck?

With a tablet that is operating normally, entering APX mode is not permanent - think of it as just another mode you can enter from a cold start. It can be escaped by holding the power button down for about 15-17 seconds. This just causes a hardware reset.
I suppose that if the Vol-Up button is stuck closed it might just re-enter APX mode though.
This is (of course) not the only possibility - APX mode is also a kind of booting "fault state". If the bootloader signature check is failing due to corruption/hardware failure, the tablet enters this APX state. I am not aware of a publicly-disclosed means of repairing this (as might be done with the Asus TF2xx device using nvflash)
@op you should probably put the tablet on the AC charger - I am not sure if the tablet will completely discharge the battery if it is left in APX mode. That would also further complicate rescue (if it is possible).
I think this mode entered because of a boot error ..I didn't touch the tab ..I've just connected it to the charger and the when I tried to boot the tab it was death, just like the first time . I know how to enter in APX mode with the power button etc,but there's a method to restart/reboot/reset the tab without call the assistance??

If you do not specifically attempt to enter APX mode (Pwr+VolUp), and all the hardware is operating correctly, then there is only one thing that would cause APX mode to appear: failure of the bootloader to pass the crypto check.
That's a pretty significant problem because the boot loader always runs first before anything else happens. No bootloader, no regular OS. No bootloader, no recovery boot. No bootloader, no fastboot. ("Fastboot Mode" is actually the bootloader).
For your benefit, I just ran two short experiments (I have the v4.18 bootloader) :
1) I wrote all zeros to the boot partition (note boot partition, NOT bootloader) to prevent the tablet OS from booting. What happens when a normal boot is attempted? The "fastboot mode" screen appears.
2) I wrote only the first 16k bytes of a valid boot image to the boot partition (all the rest still zero from the experiment above). This is a little different than case (1) above, as the bootloader sees a valid Android boot header - but again the experiment is meant to insure that the tablet can not boot. What happens when a normal boot is attempted? The Google (black & white) logo screen stays on the screen. This can be escaped by holding Pwr+VolDown.
What is the point of this? In neither case does the tablet go into APX mode as a result of a booting failure.
If you can not get your tablet to exit from APX mode, there is nothing more you can do.
If it were my tablet, I would first try holding down Pwr+VolDown for 60 seconds with the tablet pugged in to the charger. Failing that I might try (opening the back of the tablet&) disconnecting the battery for a few minutes, reconnecting the battery, charging the tablet for 3 hours, and then try to start it (again) with Pwr+VolDown.
If that doesn't do anything - back to the factory, making sure they are aware of the prior episode with APX mode spontaneously appearing on your tablet. Probably they should be giving you a new motherboard - which means you will lose all your data.
Nothig to do...I tried to open it and follow your instructions but after that the tab is still death. Now I only have to send it to the Asus right??

Yes, I think that is your only option. Since this has now happened twice, I would ask them to replace the motherboard.
Done...today I'll send it to the Asus asking for the motherboard change! Thanks

I can not turn off or lock the screen anymore, neither by pressing the power button nor by using a lock screen app.
I changed nothing, it just stopped working.
When i longpress the power button, the shutdown menu shows up as usual.
Even after restoring an older backup, the problem still exists.
When i wipe everything and install my rom again, the normal function is back.
Sure, i could just reinstall everything but i first want to ask if somebody knows a fix for this issue in case this happens again in the future.
Thx for helping

First, I apologize for my bad English
I screwed up when I had to restore from titanium backup and now I can not get into my phone. I get "com.android.phone stop working" and the only choice is to press ok and then repeat it over and over again.
Probably it would resolve itself with a hard-reset. But it dosent work. I'll have to try serval of times but i cant get into That fashion. Everytime in the press volume down and power button nothing happens. If the note relase them it just start over and over again.
Is there anyway to make a hard-reset anotherway, maybee from a connected PC or something? At this moment my phone is completely unusable.
You have to press volume UP and power button to make a hard-reset.
