Is there a way i could remove the screen or camera from my broken HD2 and use it with some other devices?
Anyone else ever tried this with success?

Both of them can be removed and remounted on another HD2, but you should study first some videos(if you have no experience on this, it could be tricky...)!
I was more wondering if there was a possibility of hardware hacking it for another device like a raspberry pi?

Hi all on this forum.
Had a problem with my xda mini and found this site, so thought some one on here must have some info.
My backlight isn't turning on so thinking of buying a new screen on eblay.

I own HTC HD2 and recently it stoped working and i had to send it to be repaired. They have changed the board because the CPU has malfunctioned. Since then accelrometer is not working in any rom. It only works in Windows. I could not find any answers except that the new board installed could be unsupported in android builds.
Any help is appreciated.

I also found out that several more users in Serbia have this issue. Anbody else? Plese help?
This is a Driver issues, maybe the new board has some different Component, but is not only the g-Sensor, the Magnetic Field and Orientation aren't Working, this kind of problem take to long time to be fixed, now that the developers are Focused on ICS. I'm thinking to sell my HD2 and Buy Another one.

Maybe it will work in ICS if only we had the patience to wait.
It is wery strange to use a phone that does not have any rotation whatsoever. You have to try and take a picture or to watch a klip that is stuck in portrait mode and want turn. I cant belive that no one has solved this yet. PLEASE HELP!

My Touch HD has problem after i talked in rain. Maybe some rain got inside the phone. The problem is no response when i touch the screen. It can properly boot up and I can see the windows screen. I want to know is it the screen problem or another components damage?

Nobody can know if that's the problem, maybe some pic's would help? I'm not a masterpiece in hardware talk, but probably the screen digitizer is broken (since there is no response). If you can switch the digitizer, there's some for 30,00 € in e-bay :/
Oh, did you install a ROM recently? Might be a bad flashed one
So guys..my phone doesn't respond anymore. It was fine all along until today, I can't press on anything on the screen.
I can only get into clock recovery only, nothing else I can do.
Is there a file that can fix this issue???

It looks to me like a touchscreen issue and not related to G sensor...
same thing happened to me it just suddenly touch is not working cant even unlock the screen but the hard keys still works...
does this mean its the end of flashing on my hd2?

Definitely NO, just you should replace your touchscreen, somehow a common problem for this future(former) hardware-beast(HD2)
