just felt it would be nice to say thanks to every one who it puttin time, effort and money into developing these custom ROM's and i can't wait to see whats still to come. My poor PDA has been flashed so many times it needs a head shrink so once again thanks to every one that is making my polaris so much cooler than an Iphone every one show your appreciation below and say thanks.

3rd, Id like to give a big thanks to everyone, but especially ITJE. Who not only builds excellent ROMS, but actively helps in the support forums.

Me too, what a interesting community that makes me like my Polaris more than the iPhone I was closed to change to. Now waiting for the HD to be available in France...

It was a nice run, but the community has drastically changed over time.
The soul reason i was tricked so easily, is because i was blind in my ignorant beliefs that XDA was a community of developers. Instead, it resulted in a split. The intelligent people, who understand hard work and help development, and the asinine, those who complain and whine and will kill to have a new release.
This is my brief resignation. I will most likely be stopping by to provide my 2 cents now and then, but no more releases from me.
A special thanks to the intelligent individuals who can understand where i'm coming from with this decision.
Good bye everyone.
also if you'd like to help my cause still (father is still unemployed, and i'm losing hours at my job now on top of it all) please feel free to donate.

I don't think that feature is implemented on this forum...

I completely understand haykuro. That's exactly what happened over at insanelymac and out osx86 developers. I was a long time member at one time moderator and irc admin then all the young dumb don't want to read search or learn teeny boppers who want us to do the hardwork and id they mess up they're parents computer its our faults. That's all these ppl do is complain complain. They don't relize the hard work we do.

Hi everyone... i usually dont create threads like this, but i am deeply hurt, and need to say a few things just to make it to clear to everybody... i feel some ppl are getting a wrong idea about me...
I am not the kind of person who will do things for fame/popularity (thanks/etc)
I do this for the sheer fun of it!
I want to help the user community...
the only reason that i have started a few thread recently is that a lot of work can be done faster if ppl help out... rather than one person sitting and doing it..
the only reason i released sources/codes, in the still-in-development threads, is that i was stuck with it for a few days now and I couldnt get it working... i thought that if i posted them in the community that may be we could get them working soon...

I'm very curious about this. Doom your absolutely great and to be fair your thanks meter says it all. A bit uncalled for but I would just like to thank all the developers for all the hard work they have put into creating great roms. Without you guys I don't think I would still be with play, thank you for all the time and grant into building firmware helping boost the way we use our phones and what we can achieve.

No, but seriously, the number of people saying thanks or clicking the button here on the play forums is very very dismal.
I have an IncS & frequent that forum a LOT more than here cos the play is my wife's phone.
I post quite less but read through most of the threads in the dev section.
You guys have some really awesome developers & contributors and they have absolute zilch to show for it.
i think the devs thanks meter here should be quadrupled at least looking at the efforts & the time spent.
Plus there are loads of helpful members who actually help with the right advice.
the thanks button is there for a reason boys & girls, use it! it's free!

Totally agree with everybody here, big thanks to all the developers that have made our plays worth owning, it's obvious to see among the comments in some of the play threads that some people clearly have no idea the amount of work that goes into all the peeerty things that we get for FREE and the developers make for virtually nothing!!! I hope the donations cover the redbull required but sadly I doubt it :-( BIG THANKS TO ALL THE PLAY DEVS AND CONTRIBUTORS

If a developer wants to leave he should leave. You don't get to decide that for him...

He has other works to do and have to spend time with his family members.

He got a life. He has a family to take care of. He gets to leave whenever he wants. Developers have to sacrifice alot of their time to provide us amazing stuff. So deal with it.

Yes and there are a plethora of other devs that will take over from his finishing point..
But recon one day he will be back..

Have been a long time lurker here and fans of RocketRom I post and register here on xda just to say good bye and thank you to Eybee and since I can't post on the developer section let me post it here.
I found the few last topic especially on the leaked ROM subject and the waiting for RocketRom V3 highly offensive and problematic. A lot of people disrespect the fact that all developers here are working for free out of their love for this device and start to be demanding.
Always remember that one has family and life beyond their hobbies and satisfying our uncontrollable, insatiable hunger.
I guess this thread should be renamed "Thank you Eybee". Respect his decision to leave and thank him for all the work he has done for us.
