Call Recorder Software for 8525

Hello everyone,
I am looking for a program that will let me click a button and record my phone coversation with someone on the cell phone. I do not know if that is even possible but I would like to be able to record important phone calls to my SD card.
Please let me know if you know of any software or way of doing this.

yes ... yes there is an app available regardless of the countless threads describing why there cannot be one (cred to Menneisyys who worked on that for ages)
how the app works is you pay someone to follow you around ( a stalker is good for this purpose and costs less) then when your phone rings you simply
-Hand it to them to answer
-Give a brief detailed message to the person on the phone(get someone with a good memory, it costs more but it is worth it)
-They write down a message.
-They hand back the phone (providing you pay them enough) then hand you the message.
its as easy as that!
(you could also just search to find the answer!)

Also searching it dont help because smart people like you post crap without knowing the answers so if you search there are 10 people saying that it works with resco or pm tools or vito recoder and others and the other half says it wont work with smart phones.
So who is right?

Old postI gave up on but i have not been here for a while and just have to say it.
Ok so the links he gave me take me to crap about answering machines which i was not looking for. I need to record phone calls not an answering machine. Also even if i was looking for an answering machine those posts still do not answer any questions just couple of people one saying well its hardware another no its software another we can break it another no we cant .....

The hardware limitation in the Hermes, and most other WM PPC phones for that matter, applies equally to answering machine as well as call recording software.
Buy a Gigabyte WM phone if this functionality is important to you. Or better, any Nokia Symbian S60.

Actually it DO appears to work...
I haven't done too much experiments yet but answering machine on my Hermes seems working fine.

Interesting... and the quality of the recorded audio is good? You don't need to keep the phone in speakerphone mode to record the audio, i.e. the phone will be quiet while recording the audio?

Yep... I'm having troubles too.
It seems I have spoken too fast.....
BUT they have released 3 major updates in the last few days.
New version is iSecretary 3.0.
Going to test it.

Thanks goes to Cotulla for making this build so functional and getting a lot of our drivers working.
Android 2.1 with Desire's Sense UI, it is working smoothly as can be for the moment and without any bsod for the most part! It is not completely bug free but is pretty stable, (for new features use latest zimage).

OLD BUILDS:
Android 2.1 with stock android interface. Based on XDANDROID. Has GSM is working although no data and mic and speaker don't work so calling is not really usable. It's also pretty stable.

Note: Here is something everyone considering an iPhone 4, or anyone who hates it should see!
I've just been to the O2 shop to see what all the fuss is about the iPhone 4's screen and apart from it's size I noticed a major floor that all 4 iPhone 4's had in the shop. Their screens had marks on them that looked like burns or pressure marks. yes i had a few blue screens on the first download, and linpack says its as fast as a g1 lol

It work for me too SMS work but no call yet, We getting close.
The one with HTC Sense is slow so am stick with the main Droid.
When and go play some game it crash

I ended up back on the XDandroid version because there are just too many errors on the Sense rom and the lag on the live wallpaper was annoying

The new video should be up before Saturday, Just got home from the beach, and still have alot of other videos to work with. If yall are fine with iPhone 3GS video then I'll make one soon. If not, then just give me couple days, maybe by then, we'll have a better kernal and Android Build.

FYI I would put a big disclaimer that there are still alpha quality. Some people have had to hard reset to get winmo back the way it was -- though tbh I'm not sure what builds they were running.
It's not that winmo didn't work, it just had some strange functionality afterwards.

make the phone a little (very little) unresponsive when starting and ending call, but it will not bother you much.
i'm using DL DesireZ v0.3.1n
select Recording strategy A (you'll find this when you first run it, you need to select A or B, i never test with B because A works.)
legal? google say no, and remove it from market. but you can still buy it from developer website.

can't really answer. i'm not the developer. all i can suggest is to try both strategy, then ask the developer.
anyway, if you can use it later and find your phone unresponsive when starting a call, this app may be a little help to avoid you calling someone accidentally:

I really would like to switch from WinMo to ANDROID, but this feature (call recording) is important to me to use it on my hd2 ...

[Q] Migrating from WM6.5 - a few questions!

**** I Posted this in the Q&A thread and didn't get a response so I'm starting a new thread in hope! ****
I'm thinking of switching to Nandroid soon as I'm bored with WM6.5 and want something new to play with. However, I use my phone for business and it's essential that I can do the things I currently do with WM and get back to working condition as quickly as possible. So I need answers to the following questions before I take the plunge:
1) Exchange/Outlook synchronisation: will I be able to sync my calendar, mail, tasks and contacts? Will anything be amiss and will it continue to sync automatically once it's been setup initially
2) SMS/Call Logs: will I be able to back up my existing SMSs and call logs then restore them to my android build? If there's some incompatibility between the formats, is there a tool that I can use to convert them into a format Android would be happy with before restoring them?
3) Bluetooth: I use my bluetooth headset (Nokia BH-905) for everything - phone calls, music, etc - so I need theis to work. Are there any general bluetooth problems?
4) Internet Connection Sharing/Tethering: does this work as easily as it does with WM? Does it work at all? Is there anything I need to know about it?
5) Volume: I've read that this is an issue with some Nandroid builds. How serious is it? I'm hard of hearing so I need the call and ring volumes to have a lot of range.
6) Office apps: from time to time I use Word and Excel. Are there equivalents out there for Android that would do the same job?
I'm know some of these questions have been answered elsewhere (yes, I have done a search but it's a bit of a minefield!) but I'd appreciate them all in one place if possible.

I have recently put on my phone Pdaimatejam 7.3 and everything seems to work fine except one thing, I can't get my phone activated to use the windows live things. I am a huge noob when it comes to this stuff so the answer may be obvious but I have no idea so any help will be very appreciated.

Isn't any wp7 Rom at this moment that allows you live services! Even if it is called full unlocked... So ... You have to activate your service at Microsoft... It's not a big deal... Or just use Xap market, is already on your IE favourites!

Have you gotten an activation code from Microsoft? There are plenty of tutorials of how to get one on here.... that should solve your problem. My live services work great!

Yes, there has been THREE updates, but I just see that as being responsive to peoples requests and fixing issues.
For me, it has been extremely more stable then the current version of Ultrafruit, and I haven't had too many problems. I use it heavily as a daily phone without any problems. And as the OP asked, Live services are running great. I was not able to download Live games on Ultrafruit.

Easiest way is to request an activation code via chat function on Microsoft page. Worked for me in UK, I told them phone was an HD7.
There are plenty of threads in this forum on how to do this, a quick search will reveal all the answers you need.. Good luck

Bug is bug, is matter more or less and can it be Daily used?

no more bug in Pdaimatejam rom than in a 'official' release from htc in his WP7 phone !!
when i read his posts, i think W.P.7 is against any change !!
so he must stay with is old WM6 ^^

any one else having problems with the proximity sensor during phone calls?
I make the call, place the phone next to my face, it turns off the screen then its right back on and i end up hanging up or the speaker phone comes on and it loud as all hell...
