[Q] Possible to port SGS 3 UI with all features on SGN?

Is it possible to port the rom from sgs3 to the note?
I like the ui and the features.

thats nice

I don't see a good reason why not. Unless there is some sort of dedicated hardware for face recognition or it relies on 4cores to have a reasonable performance.

Unfortunaly in other forum a man who knows much about mobiles says no it doesnt go because the sensors are different. I hope some cracks can do it.

Galaxy S3 Camera

Hey guys!
I'm using the LPY Firmware without issues but thats not the question i asked myself if it is possible to port the camera app from the sgs3? Because the camera from the gs3 is very faster and has much more tweaks than the note's one! Has anyone an idea if this is possible?

Just tried s3 today and the pic taking is super fast.anybody can share if gnote can use the s3 camera app?

I am off topic but today installed the camera fv-5 apps in playstore - payment version.
Simply the best I ever used.

If u are talking about 0 lag shutter... then its not possible because it depends on hardware not software

[Q] Jelly bean camera only 6mp 16:9

i downloaded camera jb+ on my s4 and wanted to see if it was a good alternative for the touchwiz one......
nope!!! i like to take my pictures in 16:9 and samsung lefs me do that with something around 9,6 mp when camera jb+ only lezs me do that with 6 mp which is far too low in my opinion..... is the vanilla camera better than that or do i really have to stay on stock jusz because of that bull****?! i really wanted to flash aokp soon :/

You are better off asking the developer of that app.
I do know that there are two sets of camera API on the S4
One public
The other private.
I do not know if the public API is limited to 6mp nor if JB+ is using public API only.
I do know stock samsung camera app uses private API and has access to all the possible functions and tricks.

My edge+ has developed a rattle......

Just noticed my phone has developed a rattle. Sounds like something has came loose around the top of the phone. Any body else have this rattle.????

Well, this phone has something called OIS (Optical Image Stabilization). I guess when camera is on little motors are working to move the sensor. When it's off motors aren't working and it's just moving freely and making sound when shaking phone.
Is it ment to rattle? Yes and no, it depends how noisy it is

Cheers for the info. Would definitely put it down to the camera. Only noticed it by chance. Certainly not excessive but had a small heart attack when I noticed.

Ambient Display?

is it possible to get ambient display on the OP2? i really enjoy this feature. maybe xposed modules or anything? thanks for the help!!! :good::good::good:

IMHO that Modul (enable ambient display) doesn't work on our device.

Ya.. Exactly.. Ambient Display works very good only and only on AMOLED screens.. As it just turns on specific pixels and not the whole screen.. You can get a kind of Ambient display on OP2 but it would eventually consume more battery because our screen isn't meant for that type of work..
