Unlocked N4 unresponsive, red led continously glowing - warranty questions

So hey guys,
a friend of mine has a nexus 4 and he couldn't turn it on anymore. When he connects it ti a charger, the led at the bottom turns red (it's not blinking!)
Well i researched and found out that there's somthing faulty with the battery, could you please give me some tips on how you could fix this?
And my second question is how it is about the warranty. I unlocked the bootloader of his nexus 4, but there have not been any other software modifications, so i'm pretty sure it s a hardware problem.
Would LG still repair this device, even if the bootloader is unlocked?

Edit: It's fixed now

To fix - open the 2 screws, move off the back cover, disconnect the battery flex cable, reconnect it, .... done.

Before doing such risky things with your lovely try this,Charge your mobile for atleast 8-9 hours continuous (switched off).
There is a thread in the general section regarding RED LED Flashing, Light of death something.
This is the basic solution you can try. :good:

Custom accent colours

Well hello there.
I am loving the customisability through accent colours in this version of oxygen OS, however the selection of colours is very limited. I would, per example, very much like a dark red-ish colour. I have been doing some browsing on the internet but I couldn't find anything about custom accent colours.
Is it possible to change or even add to the default colour selection or is it too much of a hassle for anyone to have tried?

[MOD] Remove Ascending Ringtones and Notifications

Hello everyone, I have passed the mod on from the moto x pure edition that I found on a style forum a few years back, well, I have transfered it to this phone as well and thought I would share. I never really like the Ascending Ringtones and notifications. So this will fix that issue.
1. Download the link from below.
2. flash in TWRP
3. Enjoy! No more annoying ascending notifications.
Should work on all variants of this phone.

It works, but only a little. The overall volume is very low. thanks anyway

Gravity Box has an ascending ringtone control in the phone settings, just enable it and set starting volume to max.

is there a revert for this mod? the volume is too low.

Also, you can just delete/rename the file "audio_ext_spkr.conf" in system/etc folder. Just an FYI. Seems to make the volume louder and no ascending junk. And the option in gravity box doesn't work for moto phones. At least it hasn't for me

After a reboot, it reappears. So, you have to delete/rename it every time after a reboot. No harm!

That's weird. It never came back for me after I deleted it. Maybe you could try and make an empty file with the same name and try that?

Eventually, despite I'm rooted, I can't delete it or modify it... Don't know what to do...

Yes it works. But I recommend deleting/renaming the file "audio_ext_spkr.conf" from system/etc and than reboot.

Is the mute/ascending phone audio also disabled by this? This is not a ring or alert.
Is this efing damnable censorship from Moto or Google?

I believe so. Give it a try and report back. Just make sure to have a backup. This looks works with nougat

coz i just flashed and no option name clock font in change font option

Oddly enough, the Clock2017L font isn't actually the same font as in the stock lockscreen clock. Does anyone have that font?
