sound recorder apk is for internal use only. It is supposed to be hidden by default.
Anyways there is an app that allows you to use sound recorder like a regular app. User interface and everything. It is called "sound recorder" (just look for the one with the android-native icon).
Hope I could help you.

Hello friends,
Yesterday I was playing around with Samsung Watch On app and change an option something like change room. I have selected other room option and after that I am not able to open that application. It just opens and within a second it gets closed without any message.
Please help me. How to reset this app?
Thanks and regards,

Hi there,
I noticed there's an app with the name of SoundRecorder.apk in the apps directory, however, Android does not show any app in launcher that could record audio. So I am wondering... where is it, the Sound Recorder?
Thanks!

Maybe for FM radio recording.

That is the Android default key app for voice dictating... you can download the sound recorder shortcut from the play store to gain direct access to the app...
Example:

Thanks... Just to clarify... The app you linked... Is it a shortcut or another install of the app?
Thanks!

Actually that link is for the ported app.
You can find Shortcut apps on the play store like this one:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kayan.nurav.soundrecorder
Or you can look in here on xda for the same unbranded shortcut.
I use the wiiwatch app to access that watch. but it's very limited. I have no way of using the watch sending text messages without the sim card. I can read the text messages but cannot reply unless I have sim card install. (witch in my case I don't have), I depend on the bluetooth/wifi connection from my phone. is there anyway to send or reply to my text messages from my watch?

It's certainly better app then the wiiwatch, atleast I'm able to reply to my text messages and much more, really like it and thank you .
The bluetooth on this watch keep connecting and disconnecting for no reason, and therefore I will lose connection to the app, I don't think is the app itself because even this is happen with wiiwatch as well. If I disconnect/reconnect bluetooth from my phone won't reconnect, I have to disconnect/reconnect bluetooth from my watch and then I will have connection again. anyone else have this issue.
My conclusion for the bluetooth disconnecting/connecting issue may be and more likely is the watch itself has some hidden app to turn off the bluetooth to save power and then turn it on a bit later to connect to the app. however I did look into the files section of the watch and I could not find any folder or app for power saving and since this watch is not rooted I cannot access the hidden apps. I was reading other post from someone who has Lemfo Y3 watch and he says that he was able to disable a hidden app called Battery Master and the method he used is accessing the notification log file using the google gesture app, anyway I did looked into that and no such app (battery master) been found. please if anyone has some success of solving this issue let us know...
I think the only solution is to change this firmware with one (original modified or compatible) that can make Bluetooth call and send sms and with stabile bt connectivity. The problem is don't have one. Just for i4 without camera but don't know if works...

Hi,
I have Soundpeats Truengine 3 SE headphones that, as I have read in the manual, support APTX codecs. Well, I access the Developer Options settings to modify the bluetooth codecs that come by default, I change the parameters that I consider appropriate in the bluetooth audio but when I exit the menu and access again, everything configured is removed and returned to have the configuration that comes by default.
I have tried to do it with headphones connected and it is the same.
Does anyone know how this can be done and what is configured is maintained?
Thank you so much.......

I don't even have to do that, if it's fully supported, and Licenced on the headphones, it will show up in settings > Bluetooth and by clicking the settings cog next to the device. Otherwise its either unlicensed aptx or not supoorted (see my pic)

Then, one of the. Devices in the chain does not support the codec you want (aptx/ldac). It's probably your headphones. You can always buy a Bluetooth receiver from amazon and stick it on the side if you want real good quality and all codecs
This image is in official page of Soundpeats. Those are my headphones

I use another SoundPeats bluetooth device with the same Qcc3020 chipset and the AptX logo appears everytime I connect them to my Op8pro, even though the developer menu does not explicitely let me select this AptX codec when I use any language other than English on my phone's settings (but you should see the AptX codec being selectable in the Dev settings IF you put your phone to English language! Yeah, odd, but it works!).
Same for my Aiwa Exos9 device.
