[Q] mms + swype problem

hi guys today i flashed the NexusHD2-Gingerbread V2.7 nand rom and i tried several swype and mms apks but i can't find one that works!
please if you use or know a swype that works on this rom link it here
also since ive already made a thread might aswell ask for a Desire/ Desire HD MMS and keyboard

I think beta is still open for swype but not sure. go to beta.swype.com and check if you can still sign up. you'll get a swypeinstaller.apk and it'll download swype.apk on your phone.

Hi. Funnily enough I've just installed the nexus rom you mentioned. After reading your post I thought try and instal swype.
No problems here I'm using now.
Are registered for the beta? If your are then just login from your phone and download the installer.

[Q] Help, WIFI Not working

I've Flashed to this Rom, this is my first android Rom on my HD2, NexusHD2-ICS-4.0.4-CM9-HWA V2.3 (Kernel: tytung_HWA_r3)
wifi does not work. it does not connect to my router and the icon doesn't come in status bar. i have this problem without sim card inserted
sry for my bad english, any one can help?

Do you have mac address filtering enabled on your router?

Hmm, okay can you tether or access other wifi networks? It appears to be working on your phone, considering its showing the network and attempting to connect, might be something with the router and your phone specifically. Try flashing another ROM and testing that out too.
EDIT: Are you 100% certain you are entering the correct password for your security? Youd be surprised how many times people (including myself) have entered the wrong password

a2sd shouldnt matter nor should clk or magldr, as wifi is the same setup for both. But good thoughts! Gives people something to brainstorm about!

I flashed Paranoid android Rom, WiFi works right.

Thanks! Was just about to recommend this. At least we have narrowed it down to a problem with the ROM

I have problem in making call with paranoid Rom too.

did u do a full whipe before new rom? .. bad blocks?

They will both run very well on your phone. I am using 4.1.2 now.
But, if you have to ask then you have not read enough. There is a "small" chance you will brick your phone. Read, read, and read.
Find a good writeup and print it out.
It will be a lot clearer.

OK to clarify, I am using the exact 4.1.2 that you quoted on nand on HD2 euro model. No problems

JB 4.1.2 is the max you can get with wifi.

In which case get off XDA. There are tonnes of ROMs, pick one and flash it. No searching needed. Simple.

thank you for the way you answered me but i flashed over 20 roms and the wifi wont start so the next question will be why its not working ???

During installatiion i Confirmed all values as is write in the forum.
Could I check anythink?

You could try reinstalling and choosing the opposite to what you chose the first time, that is if you are on magldr bootloader. Clk will only work on ppp protocol.
Power on the device holding down the power button and if you boot to a screen with magldr on it then I think you know what you are using!

Thank now i try to reinstall android
Is possible my hd2 haven't bootloader?
I have wm6.5 original and android on nativesd.
now in the newer installation in the first step I see "bootloader MAGLDR"
and now with PPP (before the default values was RMNET) il ALL OK ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
