hi guys today i flashed the NexusHD2-Gingerbread V2.7 nand rom and i tried several swype and mms apks but i can't find one that works!
please if you use or know a swype that works on this rom link it here
also since ive already made a thread might aswell ask for a Desire/ Desire HD MMS and keyboard

I think beta is still open for swype but not sure. go to beta.swype.com and check if you can still sign up. you'll get a swypeinstaller.apk and it'll download swype.apk on your phone.

Hi. Funnily enough I've just installed the nexus rom you mentioned. After reading your post I thought try and instal swype.
No problems here I'm using now.
Are registered for the beta? If your are then just login from your phone and download the installer.

I can't remember where I got Swype from but I know I found it somewhere in the threads. I attached the .apk file for you. Not sure if it works but you can give it a try

i know swype is the best, but there is also shapewriter available on the market (well last time i looked anyway). it is pretty good too
can anyone please help me find swype for android rom on HD2?... i tried and tried searching but couldnt find it...and i really need swype because i cannot type with the stock keyboard...
if they are still running the beta tester sign up on the swype website you could try that. otherwise keep googling

i say for the time being just use the Window Mobile side of the hd2 and use the swype there until a release comes out of somebody leaks it
I found some links to swype ripped from the galaxy but it gives an error of "Parse Error"
look for it on rapid share and megaupload, maybe it will work for you
There is one included in the mattc froyo build, its in a separate zip file in the package.

Any devs that actually read this forum, the title says it all. I've been using mdj's cyanogen mod 7 v 2.6 and I love it, but would like the new market. I've tried to install manually several times. There's an older thread in this forum that provides some instructions, but it didn't work.
Ideally, I would like to flash as an update.zip in CWM, but any thing that works is fine.
Any help is greatly appreciated
Mods: if I don't get a reply or a working fix within a couple days, I would like to re post in the developmental section. Let me know if this is okay.

Hi there, since I'm still a "newbie" I can't post at the actual thread of this rom, so here is my question:
I am having 2 issues with ICS Creamed Glacier rom:
1. I can't update google maps from 5.11.0 to 6.0.3 I get an error that says "Package file was not signed correctly. Unistall the previous copy of the app and try again" But I can't uninstall google maps.
2. on Netflix when I played a movie it plays the audio with a black screen and the player controls but no image whatsoever.
Does anyone has any idea how to get this working properly? Thanks in advance

Remove maps from /system/app to uninstall. Full hardware acceleration is needed by Netflix, it won't work without it.
the static wallpapers for creamed glacier 6.0 also isnt working
I uninstalled Google Maps and tried to install the newest one. It didn't work. So I'm just sticking with the one in the rom. It works fine for now
It is a beta of course there going to be things not working just wait tell its stable enough.

I checked the md5sum with that on dev host and it is the same.
I wanted to look at the folders to see if it had NativeSD support, since it is not clear whether it has on this thread, and if so, what folder it installs to.
Don't worry, I don't want to steal your work just would like to try it, and to know what I am trying.

Which zipper did you use.7zip is the most best software,use that.if my rom has nativeSD support inform me pls.

7zip was giving me the errors, but it extracted ok using winrar:good:
It seems ok for nativeSD, will test it later.

It is very slow, there is at least 10 second delay between a screen input (touch/swipe) and a reaction.
But sim works and i just received a text from my carrier.
