They will both run very well on your phone. I am using 4.1.2 now.
But, if you have to ask then you have not read enough. There is a "small" chance you will brick your phone. Read, read, and read.
Find a good writeup and print it out.
It will be a lot clearer.
Use the force of the HD2 wisely.

Try doing a search before you ask questions!!
NAND flashing is not available yet and there is no ETA for it.
Could a mod lock this before it turns into a flamefest

I will lock this, but the OP asked in the right place, so no need to be all "search before you post"
@OP,
As per the poster above, NAND is not yet available for the HD2. It is currently being worked on.

My question: give it a Android 1.6 Rom for the hd2?
Thanks

No, the earliest rom for hd2 ported was android 2.1 / eclair.

dude, stop spreading wrong info.. we had dream's donut running on leo initially (android 1.6), although good luck digging that thread and finding the downloads since most sites deleted their files after megaupload got busted.
can you post the thread link here? I can't seem to find it after look through the earliest threads. the filename would also be a good reference.
Can you post the link to the theret.
Thanks

If i had that much time to waste and go through hundreds of pages, i would have posted the link instead of letting you know it exists. infact, there were even ports of sense on android 1.6 from htc tattoo.
However those builds are badly broken and cannot be recommended for usage, besides the fact you have less than 1% chance to find the download link working.

Hello I have a question too ...why on earth you want Android 1.6 Rom ?? when we have ICS with HWA running on HD2 ???
Maybe he wants to learn about the History of Android Development on the HD2
need search through the winmo threads for the sdcard images maybe ask if the op still has them lol
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=578575&page=50 this is where i got to, and i just lost hope, but its fun looking at the history of the HD2, i've just looked at a LOT of threads, funny to see how the HD2 have evolved from a WM device to a super nice multibooting device

Anyway, you can do everything just to flash this sequence: task29, MAGLDR, Recovery and via recovery flash ANY zip rom compatible for T.Mobile. You have to test them all to find the right one.
At last serach botton on XDA.

First off, that's an "SD" ROM. And who told you that there are specific android builds for each HD2 model? There aren't. Especially if you're booting off the SD.
In short, yes, that ROM works on your T-Mobile HD2.

Marvlesz thanks brother , you are really a man, with your guidance I am successful ,
I am also thankful to Kameirus and eclyptos for comments and guidance.
so much thanks
Look, my first android was on SD, after have some problem I try almost everything and I can tell you that, brick your phone is not that easy. So if you want keep you phone clean install NativeSD on your SD and all will be fine.
Good luck.
