[Q] Problem with cwm, can't acces external - Huawei Ideos X5 U8800

So i decided to install Aurora. But I can't acces my external sd card with cwm (5.0.2.7). No matter if i press install from sd card or internal sd card it still opens the internal one. Also I can't mount usb mass storage and sd-ext(whatever that is). Does someone know why can't I acces my external sd card?
Help would be very apretiated.

Use 5.5.0.4

You could try formatting your external sdcard and then try again in recovery.

which type i should format?
Just put sdcard in and go to settings>storage>format sdcard. That should make it work.

this happens to me too, I formated the 16gb card many times and do not work. With one 4gb sd card works
No one knows how to solve this, I dont have any hopes. because of this I cant inscrease internal memory or make backups for my sd card that I use. it sucks

[Q] MIUI - Access internal and external sd card?

Just installed MIUI.
I can't figure out how to access the internal SD card. The hwuserdata folder isn't there. There is the option to switch to internal SD, but when I use it I can't access the external sd.
Does the MIUI rom allow for both internal and external sd cards at the same time?

[Q] Big problem with android

I have Miui newst version installed.. but then it got jammed.. i removed battery from phone and restarted.. anrdoid didnt start.. well i was going to make a fresh install with it.. but no.. i had no install package on internal sd anymore... and i cant get it there anyway.. any suggestion.. have cwm version 5.0.2.3 i cant mount ext. sd card in mounts and storages..says only error mounting /sd-ext! and i cant use mount usb storage coz it says E: Unable to write to ums lunfile (No such file or directory)! is there anyway to get install zip to internal sd or install os from external sd?.. or do i throw this phone to a lake..?
Did you try to remove the SD Card from the phone and plug it in your PC directly (with some card reader)?
there is internal and external sd in this phone.... and cwm allows installing only from internal sd.. and i think u cant remove it from phone.. :/.. its internal..
The phone has a partition with 2GB which is used for internal sdcard storage and also have a slot to mount an external sdcard. And cwm recovery use external sd card.
Do you have an external sdcard mounted?

[Q] Mount Internal Storage in Recovery?

Hey guys, I am running Philz Touch Recovery on my i9507 and was wondering if there was a way to mount internal storage while inside recovery? I tried going to the Mounts and Storage menu but the only option there is for External SD Card and I don't have an microSD card in my device, only using the internal storage.
Thanks
Bump
Doesn't it detect the storage automatically if you connect the phone to the pc while in recovery?
I'm pretty sure that this works with TWRP.
It's not possible what you want. That's a limitation of Android.
